I'm a fan of them, yes, I am.
I have seen the movies, and once I even saw that delightful and achingly sad children's film The Secret of NIMH.
But I'm not a Tolkien nut like some (like my over-amped friend John Harrison – see his article at Storm Moon.)
For me, the Tolkien movies are just a journey with characters I don't really care about.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies
And they're simply not enough to satiate the need I have for more Hobbits.
