"Mirabel I still don't get why you wanted me to do this." Alexis says as she is walking in wolf form inside Casita's walls with Mirabel.
"Because you're the best in town to come to when you need to track a person down." Mirabel says as Alexis stops.
"You really think that about me?" Alexis asks while blushing.
"I think a lot of things. Especially lately. But why did you bring me to the inside of Casita's walls?" Mirabel asks.
"This is where the trail leads." Alexis says before she and Mirabel see a rat run with a green piece from Bruno's vision before seeing a man as he then runs.
"Come on Alexis!" Mirabel says as she and Alexis begin to chase the man before trying to jump across an opening in the floor with only Alexis making it completely across.
"Mirabel!" Alexis shouts as Mirabel is holding onto a piece of wood.
"Casita help!" Mirabel shouts before the man runs over and grabs her.
"You're very sweaty." The man says before he and Mirabel fall before Alexis can grab them.
"Mirabel!" Alexis shouts in worry.
"I'm okay. It actually wasn't that far of a drop." Mirabel says as Alexis sighs in relief before helping her and the man up.
"Bye." The man says before he begins to walk away.
"What? No. Hold on! Wait! Wait!" Mirabel says as she goes after the man.
"Mirabel wait!" Alexis says.
"Why did you take the vision?" The man asks as alexis and Mirabel follow him.
"Is it why you came back or...? Tío Bruno?" Mirabel asks.
"You were never supposed to see that vision. No one was. Just like Alexis was never supposed to bring anyone here." Bruno says as Mirabel looks at alexis.
"Wait. You knew about Bruno? Why didn't you tell me or my family?" Mirabel asks angrily.
"Because meeting him was an accident. I caught him trying take food from my family's cart one day. We've hung around each other a couple times and became friends but out of respect I kept his request to not show anyone. I only showed you because of what you said about Casita and the magic. I thought it was the best thing to do for your family." Alexis says.
"Wait. Have you been in here patching the cracks?" Mirabel asks as she sees cracks patched up.
"Oh that? No, no, no. I'm too scared to go near those things. All the patching's done by Hernando." Bruno says.
"Who is Hernando?" Mirabel asks.
"I'm Hernando and I'm scared of nothing! It's actually me. I used to say my real Gift was acting. I'm Jorge. I make the spackle." Bruno says.
"How long have you been back here? You never left." Mirabel says as she and alexis follow Bruno to a room.
"Well I left my tower which was you know a lot of stairs... and here kitchen adjacent. Plus free entertainment. So what do you like? You like sports? Game shows? Telenovelas? Their love could never be." Bruno says.
"I don't understand." Mirabel says as Alexis looks at her.
"Well because she's his aunt and she has amnesia... so she can't remember that she's his aunt. It's like a very forbidden kind of-" Bruno then gets cut off by Mirabel.
"I don't understand why you left but didn't leave." Mirabel says.
"Oh well because the mountains around the Encanto are pretty tall. And like I said free food and everything. You guys love the free food don't ya? Always hungry. Never satisfied. My Gift wasn't helping the family... but I love my family you know? I just don't know how to... Well anyway I think you should go because... I don't really have a good reason. But if I did you'd be like- I should go because that's a good reason." Bruno says.
"Bruno we aren't leaving. Least not yet. Mirabel wants to know why she was in your vision." Alexis says.
"I just wanted to make the family proud of me. Just once. But if I should stop... if I'm hurting my family... just tell me." Mirabel says sadly.
"I can't tell you... because I don't know. I had this vision the night that you didn't get your Gift. Abuela worried about the magic. So she begged me to look into the future. See what it meant. And I saw the magic in danger. Our house then I saw you. But the vision was different. It would change. And there was no one answer. No clear fate. Like your future was undecided. But I knew how it was gonna look. I knew what everyone would think... because I'm Bruno and everyone always assumes the worst. So... so..." Bruno says sadly.
"You left to protect me?" Mirabel asks.
"I don't know which way it'll go... but my guess... the famil, the Encanto... and the fate of the miracle itself... Well it's all gonna come down to you. Or maybe I'm wrong. You know it's a mystery. That's why this vision is... Look if I could help anymore I would... but that's all I know. Good luck. I wish I could've seen more." Bruno says.
"Yeah. Yeah. You wish you could have seen more, so see more! Have another vision." Mirabel says.
"No, no. See I don't do visions anymore." Bruno says.
"But you could." Mirabel says.
"But I won't." Bruno says.
"You can't say the weight of the world is on your shoulders. The end. If our fate's up to me. Me says have another vision. Maybe it'll show me what to do." Mirabel says hopefully.
"Look even if I wanted to which I don't. You wrecked my vision cave. Which is a problem because I need a big open space." Bruno says.
"We can find one somewhere." Alexis says.
"Where?" Bruno asks.
"Use my room. The rats told me everything. Don't eat those." A voice says revealing to be Antonio holding a rat before stopping his jaguar from eating a rat.
"Our family needs help and you need to get outta here." Mirabel says.
"Okay you win." Bruno says.
