Chapter 1: Free Tracy
Noah Puckerman was staring at a picture his niece Tracy Anderson sent him, that was of a green man saving a stick figure from two red men as he sat on his bunk in the berthing of the naval ship he had been on for the last six months. He knew he had to tell Tracy's grandfather Burt, but with Burt living in Washington DC and Tracy in New York. Which was a four-hour drive, and with him being overseas, he wasn't sure if he should. Then a month later, Noah's wife, Quinn, sent him a letter saying:
Dear Puck,
Tracy is staying with me. I don't know what is going on, but Blaine's father, Patrick, brought her here and told me to not tell him, Kurt, or Rachel. Tracy was covered in bruises and has had nightmares since she came here. She won't tell me what happened and keeps saying she was in a fight club like you were.
I know you would say that when your dad hit you a lot before your mom kicked him out. But Tracy is only two! God, Puck, should I tell Mr. and Mrs. H about this? I'd hate to keep this from them, but I'm also afraid of this giving Mr. H another heart attack. I don't know what to do, Puck. Hopefully, this is all a big misunderstanding, and everything will be okay when you return. Well, I got to go. Kurt is calling me.
Love, Quinn
P. S. It's not a misunderstanding. Blaine and Kurt hurt Tracy. Kurt told me about it. They hit her for wetting the bed, and she hid in Patrick's car to escape them.
When Noah returned from overseas, he noticed Burt and Carole standing by Quinn as she held Tracy in her arms. Then Burt says, "Patrick told me about Tracy being here last week. I don't know why they would hurt Tracy like that, but after talking to Norah and Shelby. I want your opinion on all this, Puck."
Noah looks at Tracy and says, "I gave up Beth, Mr. H. Tracy is Rachel's daughter, and Beth is Rachel's sister. You want my opinion, Mr. H? Tracy should be with us. Quinn and I haven't seen Beth since she was a baby, Mr. H!"
Then Noah takes a bundle of over three hundred letters from his duffle bag and yells, "For the last six months, Tracy sent me the same picture of a green man fighting two red men as he tries to save a stick figure! Tracy's nickname for me is Uncle Hulk, Mr. H! I had no choice but to give Beth up, and now I want to take Tracy from Kurt!"
Soon Kurt calls Burt, but Noah takes the phone from him and yells, "Kurt, man, are you and Blaine fucking crazy? Tracy is just a baby, and you had no right to hurt her like that!"
Then there was a pause before Noah yelled, "She's my daughter now. You will never get her back, Kurt! I will take you to court if I have to, but Tracy will never return to that hell!"
There was another pause, then Noah yelled, "I was never in a fight club, Kurt! I got hit by my dad while trying to save my mom! Now, I'm going to save Tracy from you!" Then the call ended, and he handed Burt his phone back.
When they got to Noah's house General Michael Young was sitting outside on his phone yelling at someone. As they got out of Quinn's car Mike yells, "I don't care if I am friends with your father, Blaine! There is no way I am helping you get Tracy back! I would rather help Puck and Quinn get custody of her than send her back to that hell!"
Then he ends the call and says to Noah, "Puck, I know Tracy is Patrick's granddaughter, but like I told Blaine, I will do whatever I can to help you."
Before Noah can respond, they see a limousine pull up and are surprised to see Rachel, Jesse, Beth, and Shelby, who was holding a baby boy getting out. Then Rachel says to Quinn, "After getting to watch Beth grow up, I'm okay with you raising Tracy."
Then she looks at Noah and says, "Puck, you are not the only one that got pictures from Tracy. Santana got some too. She told me about them last month, but I've been out of the country shooting a movie, and just came back today."
Soon Kurt calls Rachel and she answers the call, saying, "I know, Kurt, I'm at Puck's with Burt and Carole. Tracy might be my daughter, but after watching Beth grow up. I will help Puck get custody of her."
There was a pause, then she calmly says, "You promised me you would treat Tracy like gold, Kurt. As far as I am concerned, we are no longer friends, Kurt."
She ends the call then takes her son into her arms as she says, "This is Finn Hiram St. James and I thought he should meet his godparents."
Noah and Quinn look at each other before Noah asks, "Are you sure about this, Rachel?"
Rachel gives Little Finn to Noah as she says, "Blaine and Kurt might be my best friends, but you were Finn's best friend and I owe it to him to be a better friend, right now."
Then she glances over at Burt as she says, "Besides, if you are going to be anything like Burt was before he met Carole. I think Tracy and Little Finn will be fine." and Burt shakes his head.
Soon they had to leave and Rachel whispers in Noah's ear as she hugs him goodbye, "Go get 'em, Mr. P."
Noah chuckles as he whispers, "That's my plan, Rachel."
A year later, Kurt and Blaine are wearing orange jumpsuits as they sit in a courtroom watching Tracy on a TV tell a social worker what all Kurt and Blaine did to her. Kurt breaks down crying while Blaine yells, "She is lying! We never hurt her!" This also happened when Santana, Quinn, Rachel, and Patrick gave their testimonies. However, when Noah got on the stand, Blaine and Kurt acted like they were afraid of him.
Blaine's attorney starts out by mentioning Noah's past. He turned his attention to the men and said, "Yes, sir, I bullied Kurt. I was never Kurt's friend, and I am only here for Tracy. Because growing up, I knew what it was like to be Tracy."
"What do you mean, Mr. Puckerman?" asked Blaine's lawyer.
Noah sighs while looking at Burt and says, "My dad would hit us when I was a kid. I picked on kids weaker than me, and spent a lot of time at Mrs. Hummel's. I made up stories about being in a fight club to hide the abuse. The week before my dad ran out on us, my sister Sarah wet the bed, and my dad slapped her face so hard it left a handprint. He made me get an ice pack, begging me not to tell anyone. I looked up to that asshole, and he left our family like a coward."
Then Blaine got up and was about to say something when Noah got out his phone and played a voicemail message of Tracy screaming, "No-no! Tracy sorry! I love you, Dada! I love you, Papa! Peas, stop!"
He looks at the lawyer and says, "I checked my voicemail when I got home, and that was the first message I heard. There were more than fifty messages like it, and I vowed never to keep my mouth shut again. I almost lost my sister. I am not turning my back on Tracy even though she is not my daughter or niece."
Sarah soon walks in with Tracy, who shouts, "Nono's here, Nono's here!" before the judge glances at Tracy and calls a recess.
The judge has Noah stay and then asks Noah, "Mr. Puckerman, why did you not inform anyone of this before?"
Noah looks at the prosecuting attorney and says, "I did, your honor. I was told their lawyer would say that the message was fake."
Tracy soon yells, "Nono, uncle Hulk!" The judge soon asks a bailiff to hand him a yellow folder. He then asks Noah to take off his Navy blazer and shirt before he has him stand next to the evidence table while holding the picture.
The Court proceedings soon resume then the judge looks at the men and says, "I have seen the drawings of Mr. Puckerman. Until she came in today, I thought she was telling you not to hurt her in the pictures."
He looks at Noah, then says, "I saw how you acted when Mr. Puckerman got on the stand, and you; should be afraid of him. He could have beaten both of you up like you beat Tracy, but he chose to take you to court and fight for her. I think he has done precisely that and more. Tracy is your daughter, and it does not take a blind man to see that her aunt, Ms. Corcoran is his daughter."
Then he points at Noah and says, "Mr. Puckerman gave up his daughter so she could have a better life. Mrs. St. James entrusted her daughter to Mr. Puckerman even though she could have taken her back. Now, I am about to give Tracy what she wants. The Hulk and Black Widow to be her parents. I sentence you to one year in prison, and you will not be able to have any contact with Tracy after you are released."
Kurt then yells, "This is so unfair! My parents can see her, but I can't!"
The judge bangs his gavel and calmly says, "Mr. Anderson, if you or your husband would have been the parents, Tracy needed, we wouldn't be here right now. Maybe your time in prison will teach you a lesson," before they were taken away.
Blaine called Noah later that afternoon, telling Noah, "Look, Puck, I know what we did to Tracy was wrong, but don't punish Kurt."
Noah yelled, "Tracy is still having nightmares about what you two did to her, Blaine! It took me six months to get her to sleep alone in her bed! Beth is twelve years old! I had never gotten the opportunity to be her dad! I only saw her on Rachel's Facebook page until today! If you call me again, I'll see you never see Tracy again!"
Burt and Carole walk in and as Noah ends the call. Burt says, "Damn, Puck, I'm so glad I'm not with Norah right now."
And Quinn whispers, "Same here, Mr. H." Before Carole elbows them.
Then they hear Tracy crying before Noah goes to get her. When he returns with Tracy in his arms, she says, "I love you, daddy."
Before Noah wipes a tear away from his eye as he says, "I love you too, Tracy." Then he lays down on the couch with her and falls asleep.
When Noah woke up to Burt roaring, he noticed Tracy, and his son, eighteen-month-old Junior riding on Burt's back. Then Junior says, "Pop pop." Junior then hugs Burt and repeats, "Pop-pop."
Then Noah says, "Well, Burt, I guess it's official now. I'm your son." Soon, Quinn and Carole take pictures of them sitting on the couch together. Carole captioned the photo she posted, "Junior with his dad, his sissy, and his pop-pop. LOL, so glad you're not with Burt, Norah."
Soon after Sarah calls Carole, and as she answers the phone. She hears Norah yell at Kurt, "Kurt, I came here to get you to understand Puck better!"
Then Kurt yells, "Puck took my life from me, Norah! He was a bully as a kid, and he bullied his way into my family's hearts! He took my daughter and parents from me! Everything was fine until he messed it all up!"
Noah was about to take Carole's phone. When Burt grabbed the phone, he shouted, "I am still your father, Kurt, and I love you! Puck is not the same guy you knew back in high school! He is a better man and has changed his life! I am proud to call Puck my son! I wish I could say the same about you, Kurt! As it pains me to say this, don't call me when you get out!" Then he ends the call before handing Carole her phone back. Soon Burt breaks down and Noah holds him.
Burt soon felt Junior holding his leg as he said, "Pop-pop!" Burt picks Junior up and puts his cap on Junior's head after resizing it. Quinn then has everybody sit on the couch and takes a picture that she sent to Norah. Then Kurt and Blaine ended up serving a longer sentence after they tried to send Tracy birthday presents not long after this.
A month later, Noah and Quinn take Junior and Tracy to see Rachel. Then Noah and Rachel notice Little Finn crawl to Junior before Noah says, "You know, Rachel, that's how me and Finn first met, but we didn't become friends until kindergarten. That was also when we started picking on Kurt even after he met Mercedes."
Rachel chuckles as Quinn says, "You better hope Junior doesn't get a girl pregnant when he is sixteen."
Then Noah yells, "You got me drunk, Quinn!"
Before Tracy whistles and yells, "Daddy, cool it!"
Then Tracy put her hands on Noah's face and said, "Don't worry, Daddy. If you keep worrying, you'll give yourself a heart attack. By the way, I won't date any boy that doesn't pass your pee test."
Quinn and Rachel start protesting when Noah yells, "I will do whatever it takes to be the best dad Tracy or Junior ever had! You didn't think I was good enough to be Beth's dad! Now, we are married and raising Tracy!"
Noah looks at Junior and Little Finn before saying calmly, "Finn believed in me. Why can't you?"
Noah soon picks up Junior and Little Finn after Tracy stomps on their feet before following Noah to Little Finn's room. Then they hear on a baby monitor Noah say, "I miss you, Bro." before he starts to cry.
Tracy then says, "I believe in you, Daddy. You saved me, Daddy. Grandpa Patty might have taken me to your house, but you fought to keep me with you. I'm your little princess, daddy." Quinn and Rachel look at each other, but say nothing.
Chapter 2 will be up soon.
