Roronoa Zoro Joins the crew

The wooden boat rocks with the waves, as the breeze catches the sail pushing the boat forward. The noisy squawking seagulls take off into the sky, their bellies full of fish. The white fluffy clouds lazily wander by. The beams of light coming from the sun warm all the bodies that it touches and makes the ocean sparkle. Stretching out my arms and lifting up my back I stretch out my body. Turning my face up to the sky I soak in the sun. Running my fingers through my short bob-like haircut to get rid of any lingering knots. God it's so nice to be human again!

I really need to figure out how to control my transformation. Turning my head to Luffy and Kobe I opened my eyes. My smile grows remembering Kobe's reaction to my outfit. Apparently wearing nothing but a sports bra under your hoodie which is left open is quite scandalous. A soft chuckle leaves my lips. I am very relieved that when I turn back into a human I am still wearing all of my clothes, unlike the characters from fruit basket. It would make transforming back very awkward.

"What a day, It's gorgeous!" screens luffy. Stretching out his arms sitting on the figurehead of are small boat. "As long as we can stay on this heading we should reach the marine base, in no time at all." It's a good thing me and Luffy have kobe otherwise we will be hopelessly lost.

"Wow Kobe, you're great out here". "You are amazing kobe" Luffy and I say at the same time.

"it's nothing really" Kobe blushes.

"You mean we're actually going to reach the place we set out for?" Luffy excitedly asks. "It's really nothing, I'm just using the skills every sailor should have" kobe adjusts his glasses when he replies to luffy. Luffy starts his weird type of laugh. Making my smile grow even more.

"You know there's really nothing to be so giggly about. Because at the marine base the holding the great Pirate hunter Roronoa Zoro. This is a man whose diced up has bounty his like a animal bent on carnage! A bloodthirsty beast! he's been called nothing less than living, breathing, demon and human form!" and they're kobe goes, making the atmosphere heavy. An idea came to me. Standing up I walk over to Kobe and hug him to me, his head just sits under my breasts. He immediately start squirming and his face turns bright red and he begins to babble.

"You know kobe you're really gotta work on your atmosphere skills" I tell him as i stroking his pink hair.

Smiling to myself as we get off the boat onto the small dock. I looked around at the town and the citizens. The town itself looks rather normal and the people as well the people, so this is where Luffy meets Zoro. It's going to be that episode with a military douchebag with the axe-hand and his brat of a sun, fun! Luffy steps up next to me and raises his hand into the air "We are here!" luffy screams. "The marine bass city" thankfully he says that but normally.

"Well let's get going to get a new crew member!" I tell the boys starting to walk off into the city. Looking up at the marine building reminds me of the bucket sandcastles used to make as a kid. Except for all the cannons on top of it but it's the same.

Walking near Luffy and Kobe we look around in the marketplace that's lively. The hustle and bustle of the marketplace is kind of calming. "Luffy seriously out of your mind if you think the right thing to do is to get this guy to join you!" Kobe tries to convince Luffy against his idea of having Zoro as a crew member. "I haven't made up my mind yet, i've got to see if he's a good guy" Luffy replies to kobe.

"oh come on kobe he can't be that bad". I tell him with all the wisdom of foreknowledge from the anime. But it did not secede to make kobe any karma only made him Anxious.

"He's in prison because he's obviously not a good guy!" Kobe screams at me and Luffy in frustration. As we continue on walking Luffy stops by a fruit stall, picking up the fat juicy pear he takes a big bite of and begins to chew. The owner of the fruit stall chubby curly haired woman begins to rub her hands together, Luffy tosses a copper coin her away in payment for the fruit. Reminding myself that I actually have no money that's going to work in this world! God dammit, I'm a broke criminal! with only one set of clothes to my name and no shoes… I don't like shoes anyway. laundry day is going to be hella awkward, unless I wash them as my pokemon form so no one can see me completely ass naked. I could just buy new clothes but I also don't have any money.

"Thanks, Is that guy Zoro around here somewhere?" Luffy asked the woman. To my amusement once he says the name Zoro everyone and hearing rage freak out and jump a distance away, one person even ended up clinging on to top of a post. I couldn't help myself. I laughed a little.

"Maybe we shouldn't say that name around here, ok" Kobe whispers to me and Luffy. Luffy and I looked at one another and then just shrugged our shoulders. Caring on for the marketplace people slowly get back to normal as we move along. "Let's head to the base and check it out, you want to be a marine right!" Luffy asked kobe. "Well of course I do luffy I really don't think I'm really just yet" kobe tells luffy. "Kobe you will be a great marine! so stop worrying so much, you've got this." I told him, giving him shoulder a squeeze.

"Thank you Zir, that means a lot," Kobe brushes. Humming to myself I decided to get the show on the road. "So who is the marine captain here anyway?" I asked, Kobe turned to me. "From what I heard the man and charge of the bass is called captain morgan" kobe answers my question. Causing the same reaction from earlier much to my delight and to Kobe and Luffy's confusion.

"Mhahah this town is such a weird place" luffy's statement causes kobe to sweat a little. "That was odd. I mean I understand being scared of zoro but why did they flip when I mentioned the marine captain's name?" oh sweet naive kobe, when people act like that you should be suspicious. " I don't know, I've got a bad feeling about this," Kobe mutters. "Maybe they're all jumping around for the fun of it" Luffy says to us. "I'm thinking that he's probably a douchebag!" I say to myself because of knowledge

"Luffy, Zir how does that make any sense" finally leaving the marketplace it doesn't take too long before we find the marine base entrance. And boy was it big. "That's a big gate" I whistle.

"I finally made it, 'sobs' this is where you and I part ways. 'Sobs' we didn't have long together but 'sobs…'``Kobe begins his goodbye speech to us. Unfortunately for him luffy wasn't paying attention and walked off, towards the wall in an attempt to climate it. "Hey where's the foot hole?" luffy says cutting off kobe speech. The siding I'll have later to be able to say goodbye to kobe, I walk over to luffy and help push him up. Sorry Kobe, I think to myself. "Thanks Zir" when Kobe notices what we're doing he begins to freak out and starts waving his hands all over the place. "Get down from there! what are you doing? they will see you!" Kobe screams at us. Once luffy is stable I make an attempt to get up the wall myself. heaving my body up so I can pair over the ledge. Moments like this make me glad for my muscles I got from years of competitive swimming.

"Now where's this demon?" luffy raises one of his hands to shelter his eyes as he looks around.

"They wouldn't keep him out in the open" kobe answers luffy, sounding completely done with the situation. "He's probably tucked in a prison cell bolon ground"

"There he is!" "found the demon!" luffy and I say in unison. Luffy grabsMay hoodie and jump down from the wall. "Let's get closer," Luffy excitedly explained. He started to run off dragging me behind him.

Now at a different spot that is closer to zoro, kobe has joined us peeping over the wall.

"kobe look" there in one of the training grounds is Luffy's soon to be second mate Roronoa Zoro. And if I hadn't watched the anime I would believe that he was nothing more than a corpse, his body too limp and clothes too dirty from beatings. "I'm telling you he's not…" Kobe trails off catching the site of zorro.

"Should we go say hi" I asked luffy. "If we remove those ropes he can just walk away" Luffy smiles and points towards the green haired man. Kobe's head becomes larger and his teeth become pointy. "Don't be such an idiot luffy, Zir, there's no telling what a baddie like him will do if you let him go he made just kill all of us!" Kobe screams at us. "Don't worry I'm strong, I can protect us" Luffy tells kobe. I stare at Kobe as he silently dies inside.

"Hey you three. You're an eyesore" I wonder if it's just me or does it feel colder now. His glaring is terrifying. "Get lost" zoro demand. Making Kobe scream, and jump over to me and clings onto my hoodie. "Luffy, trust me, there's no chance of surviving with a guy like that on your crew" Kobe tries to persuade luffy.

'Smack" turning my head towards the side of Kobe, there is a wooden ladder. All three of us stared at a little girl climbing up. She turns to us and hushs us with a finger to her lips. She looks both ways a few times, before dropping down a rope and climbing down. Running off in the direction of Zoro with a brown package in her arms. "No wait, stop" cries out kobe. "We gotta stop her, she could be killed by the marines of the demon himself" I turn to kobe. "Sushss if you keep on screaming the marines are going to know someone's here" Kobe falls quiet and we continue to watch and listen. Little girl tries to convince Zoro to eat her rice balls. Now where is that blonde pratt! On cue there is Helmeppo followed by two marines.

"Hey look there's another weird guy" yep, I would have used the word arsehole but hey! "He must be with the marine," Kobe says. Helmeppo starts shouting in stepping on the rice ball that the girl had made. A spoilt little brat what is what Helmeppo is. Blocking out Kobe and Luffy's conversation as I prepare for what will happen next. As expected she gets thrown over the wall, what I didn't expect was my own body to go flying to catch her and crash into luffy. Luckily we did manage to catch the girl. "Thank you Mrs and miss," she smiled. Kobe comes running up to us "Are you guys ok? What about you, little girl? Are you alright? I can't believe how rancid the person he is" as Kobe busies himself with a girl I checked over luffy. seeing that is unharmed I go back to the little girl. Kobe suddenly stands up looking left to right very quickly "What the where did he go?" Kobe cried out. Turning my head around damn luffy already gone. Oh well he'll come back over soon. Kneeling down and smiling to the little girl I help her brush off dirt from her clothing. "If you're sore, I can carry you back to your house" I smiled softly at her. "Yes please" her soft, shaky voice reminds me of my younger siblings after they have a nightmare. Turning around so she can climb on my back, I adjust my body to prepare for the extra weight.

Behind the back of Rica the little girl's house we all sit around, listening to Luffy tell Rica how Zoro ate all of her rice balls. "Really" she smiled brightly at luffy. "Yep he ate every last grain of rice there was". "That's great," she happily cries out. "I wonder if Zoro is really as evil as everyone thinks he is." Kobe questions no one in particular. But the little girl did not see it that way "He's really not" she screams. "He's good, because he got himself punished for us". "Your um making no sense". Luffy tilts his head to the side. "Sorry, it's that dumb Helmeppo he is the son of Captain morgan…" Rica tells us about how Helmeppo brought his savage dog into her mother's shop and began harassing the customers. And when the dog went to attack her, Zoro saved her. That's when Helmeppo made the deal with Zoro that if he could last a month he would let the girl and woman go on une punished and he could even walk away. "It's been three weeks since that day. Helmeppo keeps punching and kicking him while he's tied up he's being so unfair" Rica starts crying into her hands. "I-I 'sobs" I don't 'sobs" know 'sobs" how to help him" I wrap my arm around her and rub her back to help calm her down. "I see why you're upset," Kobe sympathetically says. 'Crash" turning our heads towards the sound of breaking glass. We stand up with Rica and slowly enter the building.

They're sitting Smugly in his chair with his feet on the table is Helmeppo. Two marines stand behind him quietly. "I'm hungry! bring me whatever you got and keep the check for yourself. Haha bring me a bottle of your finest moonshine or whatever crap you got here. Put some speed into lady I don't have all day" Rica mum walks over to Helmeppo and pours him some wine "Auu that's more like it. I'm trying to think of something interesting to do seeing how I'm bored out of my skull here. I suppose I could execute zoro auhahah'' my blood boils because of that vile loathsome evil miserable little cockroach known as Helmeppo. Before I could even stop him luffy ran up, and punched Helmeppo in the face, Helmeppo was hit so hard he went flying back and hit the wall. "You-you just hit me!" Helmeppo partially cried and screamed at luffy. kobe runs up to luffy and attempts to restrain him from hitting Helmeppo again, after a second I decide to help kobe even though I want to hit Helmeppo as well. "No you can't hit him" Kobe struggles to hold luffy back. "His skull" luffy screams.

"You hit me, you actually hit me! I am captain morgan son you know" Helmeppo cries out. "Yeah like I care". "You will care once he executes you for this". "Why don't you just be a man and fight". "luffy easy up, why are you trying to get on the marines' bad side?" Kobe try to voice reason to luffy. "I've made up my mind. Today zoro joins my crew"

'Poof"

"Dammit" I shut and frustration. As I transform once again into Vaporeon. I really, really need to learn how this keeps on happening.

The wind picks up the loose dirt from the ground causing dust clouds. Me and Luffy stand before zoro. The bruised and bloodied, beaten man before us head snaps up, with a savage, wild look in his eyes. On reflex my back fins stand up! Damn I thought my mother's eyes were scary. "You again, don't you have things to do? What's with the fish?" Zoro says. Hold on did he just call me a…fish! ok I know he didn't insult me, but I felt like i was just insulted. "We will untie you, only if you promise to join my crew!" luffy demands

"Your what?" zoro questions luff. "I run a pirate crew, i'm looking for people to join up" luffy walks closer to zoro.

"No way, i'll never stoop to joining up with a criminal" Zoro says Smirking at luffy. I watch as shadow goes over his face and he turned his head away. "Screw that business" zoro has kinda got a point, if this was pirates of the caribbean no in hell would I become a pirate. Sorry Johnny depp!

"And what's wrong with being a pirate" Luffy puts his hands on his hips, And stares down zorro.

"They are despicable, I will never join up to be one." zoro states. Yeah for some reason I don't believe that maybe it's to do with the anime. "Come on give me a break, everyone already knows you're some vicious bounty hunter only out for blood" luffy Says. "People can say whatever they want. I've never done a single thing in my life that I regret. I will make it through this challenge and after that I will accomplish what I want!" The determination coming off zoro was intense.

"That's great, but I've already decided that you're going to be on my crew," Luffy announces.

"What you can't do that". "I hear you're one of the best swordsmen around" luffy says just ignoring zorro's outburst.

"Well I am but that idiot marine son took mine away" a wide grin spreads across luffy face.

"I guess I'm just going to have to go get it back for you". "What!". "So if you want your sword you're just going to have to join my crew" a very proud luffy saye. Pissing off zoro even more. As zoro starts screaming at Luffy he laughs and runs off. In the wrong direction. "Wait he's actually going to bust in there alone" zoro whispers.

"Hey luffy wrong direction" I yell over to luffy. Zoro stares at me in shock. Luffy realizing his mistake uses his devil fruit power with a shout of gum, gum, rocket".

"What the hell is this guy!" zoro mutters to himself. And like that at cheshire cat grin spreads across my face. "It's simple, he's the future pirate king" I tell zoro.

Zoro looked back down at me his mouth still open from the earlier shock. "What the hell, why is a fish talking! It shouldn't be talking! Why are you talking?" zoro shout. My fin like ears twitch and amusement and irritation. Walking closer to zoro I stop just a few inches away from him.

"Excuse you, I'm not it, I am a woman! and it's not fish it's Vaporeon" I scolded him as if he was one of my younger siblings.

Extending my clause I begin to hit climb the pole, to get to the arm piece that zoro's tied to. Walking across I begin to north through the rope. This would be so much easier if I had my thumbs, but no I just had to be stuck in my Vaporeon body. Universe if you would like to send me a struction manual on how to control this would be very handy!

"What the hell are you doing" zoro demanded. Come on is an obvious "I'm attempting to untie you" I say for a mouthful of rope. "Why the hell are you doing that?" zoro asked. Because you're one of the characters in the anime one piece and it just won't be the same without you. No better not say that.

"Because!"

"Because what?"

"Because!"

"What the hell that's not an answer!"

"Because!"

"You are seriously pissing me off" zoro yells, my poor ears. R.I.P my ear drums. Damn these ropes are tough! but it's beginning to fray, just keep on chewing. From the corner of my eye I see kobe running across the marine training ground to get to me and zoro. Yay someone with the thumbs that's not tied up. Kobe starts fumbling with rope knots.

"You have to get out of here zoro"

"That maniacs, going to kill you for what you're doing right now!"

"I can't stand to watch the marines behave like this. A true marine should be honorable"

"Look kid, I can't leave, I've got ten more days left".

"Well not quite the gonna execute you tomorrow"

"What?"

"Helmeppo never intended to honor your agreement, he planned on killing you from the start. Which made luffy really angry so he just knocked him out!"

"He did"

"Now the marines are mad are deep sit on catching luffy, don't worry I'm not going to make you become a pirate or anything" kobe tries to reassure zoro. But I had different plans.

"But I will!" I happily reply with a mouthful of rope. At this point zoro arm has a lot of drool on it.

"Zir not the time!" Kobe scolds me.

"But I hope you will help him. You've got a lot of strengths you can offer"

"Luffy is the only person here that can actually save you from execution. And of course you're the only person here that can save him from a very similar fate!" when Kobe finishes speaking.

An intense atmosphere sits over the three of us. hearing the sound of footsteps I turn my head towards the entrance. And there is captain Axe-Hand Morgan followed by a bunch of marines. And of course they all have guns, jumping off the wooden stake that has Zoro tied down. I place myself between Kobe and Zoro and the marines.

"End of the line!" The new voice alerts Zoro and Kobe to the marines' presents.

"For the crime of treason against me I sentence you both to die where you stand" Morgan states. Zoro stared at him down, while Kobe started to cry. The marines load and aim their guns. Shit this isn't good.

"You've been pulling some interesting moves around here, what is this some poorly executed coup you two planned with the straw hat!"

"I've always fought alone like a real man does, not like some coward behind spendable cronies"

"Roronoa Zoro don't you dare underestimate me. youMay be some strong fighter under my fiority, you are just some rat we threw out with the trash. Take aim!"

No, no, no I can't let this happen. I have to do something, what can I do! I think I heard a window smashing but the sound was swallowed by the loud "FIRE! my ears ring when the sound of guns going off. I looked up to Luffy standing in front of us! I know bullets don't affect him because of his devil fruit power but seeing him be shot at made my heart twist. I saw luffy and kobe is friends, even though we have not known each other for long. But it did not explain why I felt so attached to luffy.

"YOU!" cried Zoro.

"LUFFY!" Kobe screamed.

"LUFFY!" I felt my own screen leave my lips

I watched as the bullets sunk into his skin and then bounced straight back out as Luffy declared, "See ya!" before bursting out in some maniacal-childlike laughter. I heard the marines screaming in fear as the bullets came back towards them. And unlike the anime they actually got shot and it drew blood.

"That won't work on me! I told you I was strong" one very alive and happy luffy says

"Who the hell are you? Zoro says in a tonne barely above a whisper.

"My name is Monkey D Luffy, and I'm going to be king of the pirates!"

"You're going to be king of the pirates, right'! you must be completely out of your mind. Do you have any idea what that means" zoro says with a scowled

"All the best people are crazy" I shout out at my future crew member and captain, but never taking my eyes off the marines.

"King of the pirates means king of the pirates, how can it mean anything other than that"

"Yeah but he first told me it was shocking but he's completely serious. That is just how he is I suppose, because he actually has every attention on the coming king of the pirates!" Kobe stops excited yelling to take a breath "And containing the world ultimate treasure the one piece" luffy grins when kobe stops talking. Luffy grabs the sword's he had tied around his back and hand them to zorro.

"Here's what I promised you! this three I couldn't tell which one was yours so I brought them all"

"All three belong to me, because I use three sword styles," Zoro said with a smirk.

"Take them for me already," I sweat drop at luffy, zoro hands are still tied! except for the one I partially chewed through, one good yank and he should be able to break free on that side.

"Um luffy, his hands are still tied up" I tell my captain.

"Just know if you fight with me now you'll be a government defying villain. It's either that or you're left out here and killed by the marine execution style" luffy happy disclaimed.

"What are you, the son of the devil! it doesn't matter because if I don't choose your side I'm just going to end up dead on the sticks so let's do it" Zoro said with a devil smirk.

"So you're finally going to join my crew" luffy happily cries out. He immediately starts doing a weird type of squat dance holding up zoro's swords.

"This is the best thing ever!"

"Can you stop celebrating already and get these ropes off me" zoro screams

And luffy tried to but he only made it tighter.

"That's weird it got tighter," Luffy muttered ignoring Zoro's yells for him to hurry up.

Saw the marines charging at us with their swords drawn. Have you ever had so much adrenaline rush through your body, that the world goes in slow motion. I have! when I was nine years old and playing with my siblings in the states visiting my father's side of the family. We were playing around with a bunch of junk in my grandmother's garage, when we found a bunch of old school play props. And of course being the person of questionable intellect I was! I thought it would be a great idea to jump into one of these wouldn't props. I got stuck! Unable to free my arms I began to panic and struggle. Which would have been fine if I was on a flat surface. Instead I was on a pile of junk, so when I began to fall to the ground. Adrenaline invades my body, making everything around me go very, very, slowly. To this day I still remember seeing everything around me crystal clear. My siblings and cousins slowly making their way towards me, and all of the things I hit on my way down. When I finally hit the ground the wooden prop broke, digging splinters into my skin. I ended up with a broken collarbone and a concussion. My dad was the first adult on site and I still remember the look on his face as a lied on the ground bleeding. He was absolutely furious with me and my siblings and cousins. When he had time to cool down he would later on tell me in my hospital bed that it was because he thought I was going to die.

My mother told me it was through the blood of our ancestors the viking blood! She said because of are viking ancestors, adrenaline affects us in different ways. And in this moment with marines charging at us with swords I understood it! I am a daughter of the warriors of my ancestors. Of my mother's people and my father's people…. My body charged ford on its own

Sprinting to the marines on all four paws I zig zag across the courtyard, I could feel my speed picking up. Charging at my marks, I swear there was a lot of lights around my body. With speed and force I was able to knock the marines down to the ground. Zoro, had got out in time and was now armed with all three swords, blocking the oncoming marines.

"Make one move and you die," Zoro said in an eerie voice. "He's scary." the marine said with tears coming down their faces.

"Today I officially become a criminal, having thought the marines. So I will become a pirate that I can promise you. But I want you to know one thing while I'm with you the only thing I did a kate myself to is filling my ambitions" zoro said

"Which is" luffy asked

"To be nothing less than the world's greatest swordsman. If at some point I have to give this up, I want you to accept responsibility and after which you have to apologize to me!"

"Sounds prettyGood! To be the world's number one swordsman. The pirate king would have nothing less on his crew," Luffy replied

"Big talker, from this point on whether I'm a criminal or not I will spread the name Zoro around the world!"

"What are you waiting for!" yelled Morgan. "Kill all four of them now!"

"Zoro, Zir,Kobe, you might want to duck!" Luffy cried, and Zoro and I both did exactly as he said. "Gum, Gumno..." Luffy said as he pulled his leg back. Using his leg, he hit all the marines and knocked them back like bowling pins.

"Yes, you knock them all down!"

"Want to tell me what you are?"

"I'm just a guy that ate the gum gum fruit".

I stood back up as Luffy lowered his leg again, did I just use quick attack! "What is a gum gum fruit?" Zoro asked around a mouthful of sword handle. That's got to be pretty unhygienic now that I think about it, like damn how many unwashed marines hands has that been through. Oh dear god what if Zoro gets an athlete mouth. "He's a rubber person" one marine said "It looks like he does have devil fruit powers" Morgan states to his men. "Captain, we don't have a chance against them" one marine screens "just look at them they're insane" and another one joins in. "we couldn't even take Zoro on by himself" and like that the marines begin panicking.

I sense Morgan's fury and my fur sticks up in response. "I want every marine that just sprouted weakness! to pull your guns out and shoot yourself! I have no need for weak soldiers" Morgan commanded his marines. Who could only stare at him with wide eyes in shocked faces. I felt the skin against my lips lift up in a snarl. I wasn't the only one in rage with what he said as I noticed some of the anger on the marines faces. "what babies, this will be easy" Zoro adjusted his body into his three sword style. Before Zoro and I could register Luffy shot forward like a bullet from a gun, as his arms swing back to strike kobe screened, "bring those marines crumbling to their knees". As Luffy goes to strike Morgan he blocks it with his ax hand. Naturally Morgan goes onto a narcissistic speech about himself and how puny we are compared to him. "Rreckless low-life, ( insert narcissistic tirade) I am marines captain ax-hand morgan, how dare you tiny piss ant defy my authority!" shouts Morgan. "And I'm Luffy, nice to meet yell" Luffy says with a straight face. Unashamed does make snickered, but it riles Morgan up even more. Morgan's strikes luffy but he jumps around like a grasshopper or a rubber man. We're Morgan strikes the ground with his ax-hand and it splits open causing the marines to gasp. "The captain is getting pummel out there" cries out one marine. "It's embarrassing," another marine said. Luffy continues to beat Morgan… which reminds me back in primary school I had a friend called Morgan. Really not the time to let my thoughts get sidetracked. Focusing back on Luffy and Morgan, Luffy was repeatedly punching the narcissist. Screaming about how he ruined kobe's dream. "Straw hat stop right there, look what I've got!" Helmeppo screams with a runny nose and a bruised face. Luffy doesn't stop punching morgan. But my blood boils when I see his holding a gun to kobe's head. Goddamnit how can I forget about this, why wasn't I paying attention. "What are you stupid or something, I said stop!" Helmeppo shout out. "If you pay attention to me I have a hostage, here you might want to look at" kobe's legs begin to shake like a maraca. I feel my lips turn up into a snarl, crouching my body getting ready to move. "Helmeppo is crazy" a marine whispers to another marine. "Hey" Zoro said, catching luffy intention. Luffy stopped punching the unconscious morgan. "If you value your scrawny little friends life you will not move a muscle. I'm serious about one move and I'll shoot him I swear" Helmeppo screams as his leg shakes like jelly. I stare at a petrified kobe. "Lluffy, Zir, listen don't let anything that happens to me stop you no matter what! even if I die" kobe screams from the bottom of his lungs. Luffy breaks out into a wide grin "Of course, you've got it" Luffy raises his arm getting ready to use one of his devil fruit attacks. "You hear that, you big idiot. Kobe is ready to die by your hand". Well this is going on I keep silent and slowly walk around Helmeppo getting ready to strike him. Helmeppo is too busy being distracted by luffy to notice me. "Didn't you hear me you come any closer I'll shoot" Helmeppo panic screen sends sharp pains in my ear drums. "I swear it" sprinting forward with my back legs pushing hard off the ground. I used the Momentum to leap forward and bite hard on his crotch. Blood fills my mouth along with the taste of dirt, urine and sweaty man parts, the taste makes me choke and gag. At the same time this is all registering in my brain and unfortunately my taste buds, Lluffy sucker punch Helmeppo sending him flying with me still attached to his crotch. 'Poof" and like that I became human again, still attached to 'shiver" Helmeppo's crotch by my teeth. I release my tight grip to begin gagging and possibly throwing up on the ground. "oh dear 'gagg" th-that was 'gagg" disgusting" I try to wipe off my tongue, but it does nothing to remove the taste. In between dry retching and getting rid of the vile that lingers on my tongue, I swear I hear laughing and cheering.

"I am stuffed, not haven't eaten in three weeks. I was ready to eat through my boot straps" Zoro happily says, rubbing his full stomach. Meanwhile I'm still trying to get the taste of Helmeppo out of my mouth. Rica and Rica's mother giggled at Zoro. Kobe happily joins in sitting over by the bar with his own orange juice in hand. "Hm I can't believe you finished, lightweight" Luffy says through a mouth full of food. I grimace at luffy. "How the hell can you have a bigger appetite than a guy that hasn't eaten and weeks" Zoro points at Luffy "I don't know it just taste so good I guess, right kobe, Zir" really wish luffy would stop talking with his mouth full. "Yeah it's great thanks for fixing at for us" kobe says to the lovely owner aka Rica's mother who is currently feeding us. "Yes it's very lovely" I pipe in after finishing a bite of my food, "My pleasure, after all you did save the town" she gave us a broad smile. "You are the most amazing man I've ever met!" Rica happily says to Luffy. "Yeah I know, and I'll be more amazing when I'm king of the pirates. When I have the one piece" Luffy happily said through a mouth full of food, which makes me cringe just imagining if my grandmother was here to see that 'Shiver". "Oh and the best crew on the seas" Luffy says as he takes another bite of food. "So how many other people have you gathered for your crew, besides me?" Zoro ask Luffy right as he takes a bite of food. Luffy stairs at Zoro as do I. It's a fair question. "You told me you were in the middle of gathering your crew for your ship, and if you're going to be king of the pirates I have to assume you've already got some waiting" Zoro ark Luff. "Nope, just you and Zir" the shock on Zoro's face as Luffy says that. "Don't worry about it soon there will be more of us" I say with all of the ensurity of foreknowledge. "Just-" Zoro slowly points to himself then me and luffy. "Yep, just the three of us"Luffy happy cheers. "So you and I, + the fish, are what amount to a tyre pirate crew" Zoro said in disbelief. Fish, did he just call me fish, I'm currently human. "It's Vaporeon jackass" I grumble at Zoro. "What's wrong with that, we are a couple of strong guys" Luffy replies. "Ok please tell me you have a ship" Zoro asked luffy leaning forward on the table. Luffy uses his fork with food attached to point outside the window at are dinghy little boat. Now that I'm thinking about it I'm pretty sure we stole the boat orwell. "Sure do it's right there" I snort is I see the dog currently peeing on it. "Zoro just so you don't get confused, it's the one covered in dog piss!" I cheerfully say. "Yeah thanks for that fish" he sarcastically says to me. I shrugged my shoulders and gave him a cheerful smile. "You two got to be kidding me" he asks us, as he stairs heart out the window. "Nope but soon we'll have a big one, you wait and see". "Mahaha and how's that?" Zoro questions. "With a great big pirate flag on top" Luffy says will going off into his fantasy.

"I can't wait 'mmm" Luffy happily choose on his food. I sweat drop even though I know the anime, it still seems pretty impossible. Kobe laughs "I'm pretty sure Luffy wasn't born with the part of the brain that allows the rest of us to plan out what we have to do" Kobe says while Luffy continues to happily eat his food. "Look on the bright side Zoro, it's bound to be interesting" I comment. "I can't believe I got suckered into having him as my captain" Zoro mutters to himself. "Hey we'll have a ton more crew members and no time" Luffy cheerfully grins. Or by the next arc I think to myself. "Luffy, where are you and your crew planning on going" Rica cheerfully asked. "You mean it's not obvious we're heading straight for the grand line" Luffy statement makes Kobe spit out the orange juice he was drinking. "No, have you completely lost your mind! you have two crewmembers there's no way you're equipped to handle the grandline Luffy" Kobe screams at the top of his lungs. "I've heard about it but I never knew it was such an awful place" Rica questions. "You have no idea. You know this world has two oceans, right? There is an enormous landmass that cuts through both of them; this is called the red line. Legend says there is a town that's right in the middle of the redline, the grand line is said to cut through this town, at a right angle… and stretch right round the rest of the world. The story goes on to say that Gold Rodger the king of the pirates, once head contained everything this world had to offer and before he died he said he left the great one piece treasure there, ever since set sail for the grand line! Today the place is nothing but a battlefield, even called a pirate's graveyard!" Kobe finishes his lecture. And if I'm not mistaken it looks like he broke out in a nervous sweat. "I have heard stories about it from people passing through," Rica's mother said. "The customers say no one who's ever entered the grand line comes out of that place alive" that's a bit morbid I think to myself. suddenly my stomach turns into a cold pit, as a small amount of dreadful's my veins. I shake it off. "Which is really too bad, that is where the one piece is said to be in that's where we're going" Luffy says with certainty. Zoro lean back on his chair "I guess we're just going to have to live with it" Zoro said. Shrugging my shoulders "I knew what I was getting into" I say leaning back into my own chair. Apparently our casual response to possibly dying was not good enough for kobe. "No you can't agree" Kobe squeaks out. Making Zoro raise an eyebrow "What do you care, you're not going with us are you?". "No, I still worry, is it so wrong to care about the three of you! Luffy and I and Zir, haven't known each other for years but I still consider them my friends. Wouldn't you say" kobe asked me and luffy.

"Of course, weMay have to part ways but we always be friends"

"Obviously, why wouldn't we be"

Kobe seems generally shocked with this response, tears begin to go into the corner of his eyes and he puts his head down low. "When I was just a kid I never had any friends, much less anyone who would bother fighting on my behalf. So I always tried my hardest never to fight for anything. But the three of you have taught me a lesson I could have never learnt on my own, how to fight for what I believe in. So I'm going to make my childhood dream a reality and become a marine" he says with all the excitement of a child on christmas. "In that case don't you think you should be a little more concerned with your situation!" and Zoro just had to break Kobe's good mood. "I mean you were on a pirate ship even if you were nothing but a cabin boy, a marines information-gathering is top-notch. They will find out about your time with Alvida. The marines will never let you join" and like that Zoro practically crushes kobe's dream. "I never thought about that," Kobe mumbled to himself. And that is when a pile of marines came through the front door. "Hey you there" the marine said, slowly stepping forward towards are table. "We heard you fellows are actually pirates, is this rumor true?" the marine asked us. "Yep, it's official I just added the second member of my crew!" Luffy cheerfully exclaims. "We appreciate everything you did, free us from that horrible tyrant that terrorise this town for so long. However now that we know you are pirates as marines we cannot sit idly by and what's your go about your business. There for you and your crew will have to leave this town in mediately. Out of respect for what you've done we will not report you to headquarters". As the marine finished speaking, the people began to cry and scream in outrage. I quietly listened to what the townspeople were shouting at the marines, it was starting to get ugly. Luffy, taking in the situation, grins broadly and gets up from his seat "Well it's time to go, thanks for all the food lady". Are lovely hostess and her daughter frown "Wait a second you're leaving already?" the little girl wine slightly. "Yeah" comes the quick & simple reply from Luffy, as he swings his sack over his shoulder and walks away. Getting up out of my chair I follow him, not before ruffling up her hair and giving her a quick smile. As Luffy, Zoro and I make our way to the exit, I glanced over at kobe. "Aren't you part of the crew? as well" the marine questions are pink-headed friend. Kobe flinches harshly. "um- well I-I-I ur" kobe billy manages to stutter out his reply. As we're leaving the building the marine turns to us "Hold it, is he with you or not" the marine demands. I turn my head towards the marine being glad for the red blindfold covering my eyes, keeping most of my expression hidden. Luffy turns his head towards the marine and puts on a grin. "What I can tell you is what he's been busy doing towards this point!" Luffy said, I clench my teeth is eyewitness to Luffy riling up Kobe, to the point where Kobe runs up and strikes him. Luffy begins to pommel kobe. The marines getting Luffy's message shout at him to get out, Zoro and I pull Luffy off kobe. "Enough you've made your point, now let him fell to the ground" Zoro said. I stare at the bruised pink head boy's face, as he breathes heavily on the ground. "It's obvious you are not crewmates so stop badgering the poor kid, take your leave of this town this instant" the marine points and shouts at luffy who hides a secret smile. We do a silent walk through the town down to the docks where are stolen boat awaits us.

"That was a thin act you put on back there, I wouldn't be surprised if they saw past it" Zoro said to luffy. Luffy only chuckled "Kobe should be able to handle the rest on his own, I have faith in him" I smiled at Luffy's confidence In our pink haired friends. Quietly humming to myself I wonder where we'll see him again. "It's a fitting weight to leave this place, unable the turn back, cause everybody here hates us. it's very pirate-like". Zoro said with a smile.

"Yep" I say at the same time with Luffy "Mhaha yeah it sure is"

Jumping into the boat, Luffy removes the rope so we can undocked. When we hear a sudden shout from behind us, "Luffy, Zir, I can never say thank you enough you have done more for me than anyone ever has" Kobe shouts while saluting us. "I've never heard of a marine thanking a pirate before, that's one for the history books" Zoro said. As we lower are ships sail, the wind and the current take us away from our pink haired friend. "Kobe when I see you again you better be in a marines uniform" Ishout while weaving my hands. "We'll meet again kobe someday" Luffy shouts over to kobe. And before we know what we're being saluted by a bunch of marines, and Ricar and Rica's mother. As are little stolen boat sales off into the sun it leads us to our next adventure.

I was originally only going to post this once I finished with the story and completed it. Just because I have to focus on some other things and not necessarily writing my fanfiction. And I like the idea of being able to put out a chapter every week with no stress, but as I just finished chapter 2 and begin with chapter 3 I don't know if that plan will work out. So fair warning if the story doesn't have a chapter come out in a few week's time then I'm probably going to post more chapters once I finish a bulk of the story. So it could or could not be a long weight :/ I would love to hear comments about what you think about the story so far :)

P.s It's weird reading some the the earliest stuff I wrote for the story compared to the stuff I've been writing now.
