Before I get into the story, lemme just say I was disappointed at the Louds for doing something like this to my favorite character. I cannot believe his family would literally kick him out of the house, neglect him, refuse to even take care of him, and believe Lynn about the bad luck and think it is an actual curse to the rest of the family. I honestly wish this episode would have been banned already and I still don't get why it's still on tv. I was so frustrated I rewrote my own version of the episode. I wanted to be a little nicer towards Lincoln, and also rewrite the story to make it sound less hated with a happy ending, and less harmful things the family does towards Lincoln. So enjoy!
Chapter 1: So Many Things in One day!
Ah, Saturday morning in the Loud House. The kids don't have school, the parents don't have work. However, even though the kids don't have school. it appears every single one of them has something to do with the activities they're involved in. Well every single kid except the middle child, Lincoln. He thinks that doing extracurricular activities are a waste of time, so he just hangs around at home reading comics, playing video games, practicing his magic tricks, doing whatever the heck else.
But however, today was a special day for the Louds. Each of the sisters has their own thing to do today. This means Lincoln has to spend his whole day going to his sisters' activities and supporting them. This doesn't sound good.
Lincoln woke up and got a call from his best friend Clyde on his walkie-talkie.
"Come in Lincoln!" Clyde said.
"Good morning buddy," Lincoln told him. "What's up?"
"Want to hang out today?" Clyde asked him. "This is the first day I'm free in a while!" It's always back and forth for these two. Whenever Lincoln is busy, Clyde is available. And it happens the other way around almost every weekend. So this could only mean one thing...
"Sure Clyde, let me check my calendar for today." Lincoln replied as he got up and looked at his calendar. "WHAT? You've gotta be kidding me!"
"What happened? Tell me everything!" Clyde worried.
"Every single one of my sisters has activities today! All 10 of them! This usually never happens!"
"What? That's crazy!" Clyde answered. "Do you have to go to every single one of them?"
"I don't want to, cause I need time for myself too." Lincoln pouted.
"Well then why don't you convince your parents to not go?" Clyde asked.
"I can't, because then I'm being a bad brother. My family has a rule where we are all supposed to go to each of our activities."
"Well, tell them you're sick or something. I gotta go eat breakfast. Talk to you later buddy!" Clyde said as he hung up.
"So much for a Saturday." Lincoln whispered to himself. He went downstairs to eat breakfast and his sisters were already there, talking about their activities for the day. This just made Lincoln even more overwhelmed. He did not want to waste his Saturday going to all of his sisters' activities.
"Guys! Don't forget you're all coming to my golf tournament today!" Lori cheered along with the rest of the sisters.
"And also my fashion show!" Leni exclaimed as the rest of the sisters cheered in excitement.
"Oh yeah! Also my gator wrestling match!" Lana chimed in.
"My grave digging competition!"
"My pageant!"
"My softball game!"
"My concert!"
"My performance!"
The thought of this made Lincoln super worried. As much as he wanted to be there for his sisters, he did not want to spend his whole day at their events. Usually, some of his sisters had things to do on Saturdays, but almost never was it all 10 of them. Lincoln went to his parents' room to have a talk with them.
"Good morning Mom. Good morning Dad." Lincoln greeted his parents.
"Good morning sweetie." Rita told him.
"Hi son! What do you want for breakfast this morning?" Lynn Sr. asked him.
"I'll have a breakfast burrito like always." Lincoln answered. "But I actually need to talk to you guys about something."
"About what?" Rita wondered.
"Do I have to go to all of my sisters' activities today? It's Saturday! Shouldn't I have some time to myself?" Lincoln complained.
"Look honey, I know it's a lot, but your sisters would really appreciate it if you came to their events. They are family, after all." Rita stated.
"What she said." Lynn Sr. agreed. "After everything is over, we'll all go out for pizza to celebrate!"
"Count me in, then." that statement convinced Lincoln. He went upstairs to get ready.
"Yo Stinkin!" It was Lynn. "Ready for my softball game? Second to last match before the championship! And if we win that, we go to the state playoffs! And if we win that, then we are the state champions! And if we are state champions, then-"
"Yeah Lynn, I get it." Lincoln groaned. "I'm only going because we are getting pizza after your activities are over."
"I cannot believe you!" Lynn was frustrated with her brother. "You're only going because we get pizza later?"
"I guess." Lincoln muttered.
"I thought this family actually supported each other!" Lynn was pretty upset. "You haven't come to a single one of my games all season! This game is very important for us, and we want to keep up our winning streak. You're the only family member who hasn't come to any of my games! It would mean so much if you came."
"First of all, I didn't go to any of your games because I was busy supporting 6 other sisters at their things." Lincoln argued. "Second, I have my own things to worry about. Like the newest Ace Savvy comic! I've been waiting for this issue forever! And it's finally here! I cannot wait!"
"Lame!" Lynn responded. "Please come to my game!"
"No thanks." Lincoln ignored the offer.
"Please!?" Lynn was now desperate.
"NO!" Lincoln shouted.
That's when Lynn started making sad doggie eyes, when she never gets what she wants, she always makes those eyes to get someone to feel bad for her. This convinced Lincoln to go.
"Fine..." Lincoln admitted.
"Yay! Thanks so much Stinkin! You're the best!" Lynn said as she hugged Lincoln tightly. "I take back all the bad things I ever said about you!"
It's only one game. What's the worst that could happen? Lincoln thought to himself. I just want pizza afterwards!
Chapter 2: Bad Luck?
First up was Lynn's softball game. Everyone, including Lori's boyfriend Bobby, came out to support Lynn. They were all excited, except Lincoln. He was unenthusiastic. 1 down, 9 more to go. Lincoln thought. I wish I were at home reading Ace Savvy right now.
Lynn walked up to the field. She was playing as the pitcher. She waved to her family, but didn't seem to notice Lincoln and that he looked like he really did not want to be there.
"Welcome everyone!" said the announcer. "The Royal Woods Squirrels have been on a 10 game win streak, and they need at least 2 more wins to make it to the championships, and then the playoffs! Superstar pitcher Lynn Loud is more determined than ever to win. Now going into the first inning..."
Lynn threw the ball to her friend Margo, who was batting. She hit the ball, but it went out of the field.
"Oh no!" the announcer said. "Looks like the ball flew out of the field!" A minute later, the sound of a car honking was heard. "And it turns out the ball hit a car and broke the windows!"
Lynn threw the ball to Margo, who once again hit it out of the field. This was how it turned out for the rest of the game, as every ball Margo would hit would go outside of the field, and the points would go to the opposing team. The other innings did not get any better, and the Squirrels only had 3 home runs throughout the whole game. The family was shocked. Lynn's team has never done this bad before. There must've been a reason for this. Well, this just turned out to be even more of a waste of my time. I didn't come to see this. Lincoln thought.
By the end of the game, the opposing team won and the Squirrels had lost their first game of the season. Lynn was extremely mad about it, and her team was nowhere near close to making it to the championship. She only had one person to blame: Lincoln.
After the game, the family was preparing to go home for a quick lunch break before heading over to the rest of the activities.
"I'm so sorry you lost, Lynn." Lincoln attempted to comfort his sister.
"Get away from me!" Lynn screamed as she hid behind a garbage can.
"Woah, what's going on?" Lincoln was confused as to why Lynn would start acting like this.
"You're bad luck! Stay away!" Lynn answered.
"What?" Lincoln had no clue what she was talking about.
"My team has one every single one of my games this season! The one time you come, we lost and do so poorly! I should've never invited you!"
"Ok first of all, I'm being forced to come because my parents want me to come support you guys!" Lincoln defended himself. "I also want pizza!"
"Well, you're being ridiculous. I'm banning you from coming to all my future games. Don't even bother showing up." Lynn told him. She got in the car.
Lincoln realized she had a point. He had never come to any of Lynn's games before, and if her team won every game before today, then he felt like he was actually bad luck. He went into the car.
In the car, Lincoln sat next to Lynn, who got up out of her seat and sat in the front. Lincoln felt like he was being avoided.
"Bad luck." Lynn mouthed at him.
"Shut up." Lincoln mouthed at her.
When they got back home, Lincoln made himself a salad. He still felt guilty about showing up to Lynn's game and making her lose.
"Hey Linc!" It was Leni. "My fashion show is up next! I am totally going to rock that new outfit you made me for my birthday!"
"Looking forward to it." Lincoln answered.
"Leni! Stop! What are you doing?" Lynn came in.
"What do you mean?" Leni was confused.
"Don't invite him to your fashion show! He's bad luck!" Lynn warned her.
"That can't be. He's just Lincoln. He's such a sweet boy!" Leni said as she gave him a hug.
"He made us lose our game today! Because this was the one game he came to and we lost!"
"O.M.Gosh! I can't believe it!" Leni was shocked. "Maybe you shouldn't come after all. I'll wear the other outfit that I have. The one you didn't make."
"Leni, wait!" Lincoln wanted to explain himself.
"I'm going to tell the other sisters too. Because you don't deserve to go to their activities." Lynn threatened him.
"Please, don't!" Lincoln told her. That's when he came up with an idea. She has a point. If she tells the others, they won't let me go to their stuff, and I get a free day! Yay! "Actually, go ahead and tell them. I don't care."
"Oh you bet I will!" Lynn said.
Finally, I'm off the hook. Now I have to tell my parents. Lincoln went to talk to his parents about his bad luck, but needed to get them to believe him.
"Hi mom and dad." Lincoln told his parents. "I can't go to the activities for the rest of the day."
"Why not?" Rita asked. "Are you feeling alright, sweetie?"
"No, actually, I've been cursed with bad luck."
"What??? Say no more!" Lynn Sr. screamed.
"I made Lynn lose her game, and I don't want my bad luck to spread to the rest of the sisters and make them lose their things. I'm sorry guys."
"He has a point." Lynn Sr. told Rita.
"Well, if we don't want our 10 daughters to mess up their own activities, then Lincoln, stay home for the rest of the day." she finally gave in.
"I'm sorry I can't come." Lincoln said. But inside his head, he was cheering. Freedom!!
"No pizza for you then." Rita also commented.
"What? Not even one slice?" Lincoln was surprised.
"Sorry son, but if you're bad luck, then you don't deserve anything." Lynn Sr. said as he and Rita left the room.
Lincoln sighed. He didn't know that he would deserve this. He only wanted to get the pizza, but if he doesn't get any, then he went a little too far.
Lincoln walked out of the room, with the rest of the family gone. He was ready to enjoy his newfound freedom, but he was still upset.
"Well here goes nothing." Lincoln sighed. "Who's unlucky? I'm unlucky."
He spent all day reading comics, playing video games, practicing his magic, and going on a walk alone. It was probably the worst day of his life.
He needed to fix things right away.
Chapter 3: Odd Loud Out
Later that evening, the family came back with a box of pizza. Lincoln was looking forward to eating it, but however, his family pushed him aside.
"Come on guys! How long are you going to keep this up?" Lincoln asked.
"Most likely forever." Lucy answered.
"You're bad luck. We can't be near you, bro." Luna added.
"But why?" Lincoln was upset.
"Hang on, I got this." Lola said as she got up out of her seat. "You, Lincoln Loud, are bad luck and you make everything worse. We don't want you at our activities if you're going to screw things up. So go away!!!"
Lincoln was about to cry. He didn't expect to be insulted so harshly like that.
"Lola, please don't do that." Rita said. "Sweetie, just, we don't mean to hurt your feelings, but we just thing that until your bad luck is cured, we need you to stay home for a little."
"Fine. But can I at least have a slice?"
"No! Don't!" Lynn said.
"Yes you may, sweetie. But eat it on the couch." Rita told him.
Lincoln quietly turned on the tv as he ate his pizza. He sat silently, looking like he was about to cry. He then heard his family talking about their plans for the next week, which all sounded like fun.
"Guys! Tomorrow is the day the new Harry Potter movie comes out! We literally have to see it!" Lori told the family as they all chatted in agreement.
"Harry Potter? Can I come too?" Lincoln eagerly asked.
The family sat in silence and stared at him for about what seemed like forever.
"Look Lincoln, the thing is...we don't want you to come." Lynn Sr. told his son.
"Why?" Lincoln nearly cried.
"The movie could sell out!" Lola remarked.
"They could run out of popcorn!" Lynn said.
"So what?" Lincoln asked.
"You're bad luck, dude." Luna reminded him
"Oh yeah, right." Lincoln sarcastically said.
"I'm so sorry." Rita hugged him.
"Whatever, I don't care anymore." Lincoln said as he went to his room."
In his room, Lincoln felt guilty for lying about his bad luck just to avoid going to his sisters' activities. He loved them and wanted to support them, but he was too selfish and only cared about what he wanted to do. So he called Clyde to fill him on the situation.
"Hi." Lincoln quietly said.
"What's up buddy? I haven't heard from you all day!" Clyde happily answered his best friend.
"I have a code light purple." Lincoln replied.
"Your family believes you're bad luck? How?"
"It's a long story. But anyway, can you get four tickets to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2? It comes out tomorrow. You, me, and your dads."
"Why?"
"My family is all going without me because they don't want me around."
"Say no more! I'll help you buddy."
"How can I regain my family's trust? I want them to include me for family events."
"I think what you should do is talk to them. That always works."
"That's the obvious. What else can I do?"
"Go with them to the movie then."
"I'll have to convince them. Be right back buddy." Lincoln went to his parents' room to convince them to go to the movie.
"Hi guys." Lincoln told them. "Now, can I ask you guys something?"
"We already know what it is." Lynn Sr. said. "You want us to take you to the movie."
"Yes, come on you guys! My bad luck can't spread anywhere else!" Lincoln complained.
"You don't know that. What if you just let me come and you don't even realize?"
"Lincoln, stop." Rita told him. "No is our final answer."
"Ugh! I hate you guys!" Lincoln yelled at them as he ran out of the room.
Lincoln had to regain his family's trust somehow. He could not forgive them after excluding him from all their activities. He just wants to support his sisters, same thing they do for him.
Lincoln changed his mind, and he had a better idea.
Chapter 4: No Such Bad Luck
Lincoln woke up the next morning and he was ready to execute his plan. This was sure to work. My family better thank me for this. he thought to himself.
"Guys! We don't want to miss the previews! We're leaving in 5 minutes!" Rita called the sisters as they all came downstairs.
"I'm ready! I cannot wait to see this movie!" Lincoln said as he came downstairs as well.
The sisters all screamed when he arrived.
"Lincoln! How many times have we told you you can't come?" Lynn Sr. asked.
"You're staying home! We don't your bad luck to spread!" Rita told him.
"Fine, I'll stay. You guys just made me miss out on the worst opportunity ever." Lincoln cried.
"Sorry son." Lynn Sr. said.
"Don't worry, I'll tell you how it ends." Leni comforted him as they all left.
That comment didn't make Lincoln feel any better. He still wanted to go, as he has waited for this movie to come out for over 2 years now. He was going to do something else.
Lincoln didn't want to miss the movie, so he decided to sneak into it. But this time, he was going to bring his good luck charm with him. His stuffed rabbit Bun-Bun. Ever since he was a baby, he always had it and it would provide him with good things. He prayed every night that good luck would occur, and this was the perfect time to use it. Lincoln stopped by the mall on his way there to buy his parents, and each of his sisters a present.
By the time Lincoln got to the theater, the movie had already started. He felt bad about missing the first part, but he was doing it for a good reason.
Lincoln managed to sneak into the theater without a ticket. But Bun-Bun was with him the whole time, providing good luck. Lincoln wanted to sit in the front row, but his family was there.
I won't be able to see from the back. What am I going to do? he thought. Instead, he grabbed a seat right behind them, where they weren't looking. Everything went well, until towards the end.
Lincoln ate his popcorn, and drank his blue raspberry slushee. However, he accidentally spilled it and it landed on Lynn, who was sitting right in front of him.
Lynn screamed. "Omg! Who did this?" she turned around to find Lincoln.
"Lincoln????? What are you doing here??" she screamed. Everyone else turned around and was shocked.
"We told you not to come!"
"Why are you here?"
"We knew you were bad luck!"
That made him feel even worse as he ran out of the theater. He was crying. Never ever had he ever been so hurt by his family.
"Lincoln, there you are sweetie. We are so sorry." Rita hugged her son.
"No I'm sorry. I shouldn't have come here. I was so excited to see the movie I snuck in here even though you told me not to." Lincoln apologized.
"It's my fault." Lynn said. "I never should've accused you of being bad luck. I think it was just my team, they were a little off that day."
"We're sorry too." Lori said.
"We love you. You're always there for us, and take the best care of us every day. You're our only brother." Lynn added on.
"I'm sorry I was being selfish." Lincoln also admitted. "I just want to spend time with you guys."
"I'm glad you understand." Leni said.
"I bought each of you something. It's my way of showing you guys how much I love you all." Lincoln said as he gave each of his sisters and parents presents.
They opened the gifts and they were so touched. They gave Lincoln a hug.
"We're sorry for doubting you." Rita told him. "We're going to the beach tomorrow to celebrate the sister's' accomplishments. Want to come?"
Lincoln thought for a moment, before finally saying yes.
The next day, the family went to Aloha Beach and had the best time together. As a family. Lincoln was pleased to be able to spend time with his family. Despite the issues, Lincoln was proud to be a member of the Loud Family.
Well that's the story guys hope you enjoyed ik it's not the best lol
