I've been asked to do a Lightspeed Rescue season. So here it is!

A young woman walked down a hallway, heading towards a boardroom inside a secret base in the ocean.
"Dad!" A teenager yelled franticly as she ran down the same hallway. "Dad, dad, dad, dad!" She cried, running past the young woman, who jumped out of the teenager's way.
"Hayden!" She scolded, reaching out to grab her arm - stopping the teen in her tracks. "I've told you a hundred times."
Hayden yanks her arm free. "I don't answer to you, Dana!"
"You answer to me."
The firm voice had both girls stop glaring at each other to turn their attention to see a man, now standing outside a doorway.
"Captain." Dana greeted as she and Hayden straighten to attention.
"Hayden, I've told you before to call me Captain while on duty." Captain Mitchel said, the teen looked down.
"I'm sorry, Captain."
The man nods. "Now. What's all the fuss about?"
"They escaped." Both sisters said in union, then glared at each other.
That caught the Captain off guard. "You're sure?" He asks.
"The city's in a panic." Hayden bobs her head. "They've escaped!"
"It's true." Dana agreed.
Captain Mitchell walks back into the room, he walks over to a safe, pulling out a black case, he turns back to face his daughters. "It's time to bring them in."
"Great." Hayden reached for the case. "Let's go!"
"Hold it!"
At her father's voice, she winced and quickly retracted her hand from the case and Dana rolled her eyes.
"Dana will be going, you young lady have work to do."
"What?" Hayden cried, staring up at her father. "Dad, it's summer!" She complained.
"I believe Mis. Fairweather has asked for your help earlier."
"Ooooh, right." Hayden nodded as she remembered. "I, will go do that." She hesitantly said. She turns around and walks out of the room. "Dana always gets all the fun stuff!" She complains as the door closes behind her.

Dana sat in a limo as she held Carter Grayson's file in her lap, she had to admit he's pretty cute. A loud explosion is heard, making her jump startled and the folders scattered around. Dana climbs out of the limo to see a firefighter jumping out of a higher window with a little girl in his arms. Dana looks down at Carter's profile in the folder, then hurries over to help.
"What are you doing?" Carter asked as Dana pulls the girl from his arms.
"I'm a paramedic." She answered. "Don't worry, I got it from here."
"Ok, thanks." He nods, before walking towards a fire truck.
"We need an ambulance!" Dana shouted, she turns to Carter to see him leaning on the fire truck. She walks over to him. "I know this is a bad time, but I need you to come with me."

Out near a runway, Joel Rawlings is signing autographs. "There you go." He said, clicking to one of the girls in front of him. "Who's next?"
Two men wearing suits walk up to Joel. "Joel Rawlings?" One of them men asks.
"I was just doing something important."

On the side of a cliff, Kelsey Winslow is currently doing what she loves to do. Rock climbing. She makes it to the top of the mountain when she sees two sets of feet, she looks up to see two men wearing suits standing there.
"Kelsey Winslow?" One of them asks. "Would you come with us please?"
"Who in the world are you guys?"

At an aquarium, a whale comes out of the water with a man in a wet suit, stands on the nose.
"Well, I hope you brought your umbrellas cause you're gonna get wet!" An announcer over speaks, calls out as both the man and the whale goes back into the water. "That was Chad Lee, ladies and gentlemen! Yes, ha ha! Come on up Daisy and wave for the camera!"
Chad swims over to the pool's edge, grabbing the edge and lifting himself up and grabs a fish when two men in suits approach him.
"Chad Lee?"

A helicopter flies over the water as Carter looks out the window to see a submarine's sonar as it got closer and closer to the underwater base. "Don't tell me, we're going in that submarine, aren't we?" He asks as he sits next to Chad and Joel.
"Excellent!" Kelsey smiles as she tries together a better look.
"Civilian crew and authorized personnel have entered Lightspeed Aquabase." A computerized voice spoke. "Security clearance checked and confirmed."

Inside the base, Dana leads the four down a hallway as she heads towards the boardroom.
"Where are we?" Chad asked as they look around.
"I don't know, but it's cool, huh?" Kelsey grins as Joel walks over to some computers and starts pressing buttons and an alarm goes off, he quickly tries to fix it as he tries to press more buttons. Dana comes up to him, turning off the alarm and grabs a fist full of his shirt, dragging him towards the boardroom, where Captain Mitchell greets them.
"Welcome to the Aquabase." He greets.
"Pardon me." Joel walks around Dana to go up to him. "I don't know who you are, but this is illegal. This is kidnapping."
"Actually, this one is the kid." Dana points at Hayden, who looked up from a tablet and glared at her.
"And you, dearest sister. Is the kidnapper." Hayden said snotly. Dana stuck her tongue out at her, Hayden threw a raspberry in return.
"Girls!" Mitchell snapped, causing both sisters to stand at attention. "Forgive my daughters. You've already met Dana, this is my youngest, Hayden."
Hayden smiled at them. "Hi everybody. It's nice to meet you."
Carter, Kelsey, and Chad all smile at her. Kelsey elbows Joel as she gives him a look.
"How do you do?" He nods at Hayden.
"I am Captain William Mitchell, none of you will be held against your will." Mitchell side steps, showing the door behind him. "You're free to go."
"See ya!" Joel said and walks away.
"That is." Mitchell started again, and a man walks in to block Joel's escape. "After you hear me out. Please, have a seat."
Hayden sits in a chair next to Carter, while the others each took seats.
Captain Mitchell starts to explain. "5,000 years ago this part of the Earth was inhabited by evil spirits … demons if you will. Who's only purpose was to destroy and conquer. Luckily there was a warlock who was strong enough to conquer them. And finally, the demons were captured and entombed, but we always feared that one day they would escape and would return to Mariner Bay. Well, it seems our fears have come true. Just hours ago, nomad travelers crossing through the dessert discovered the tomb and released the demons back into our world. Lightspeed has developed technology and highly sophisticated weapons that we believe can stop them."
Dana opens their files and shows them their files.
"Because of your skills, you've been chosen to use these weapons to defend the city …. to become Lightspeed Power Rangers." Mitchell finished.
"You built this whole Aquabase so that the five of us could fight off a bunch of angry demons?" Kelsey asked.
"Well, that's putting it simply, but yes."
"Wait. You said five?" Hayden asks, looking at her father.
"Yes." Mitchell turns to the man who was still in the doorway, he give him a file and Mitchell turns back around as he opens the file. "Hayden your skills in basketball and gymnastics are very skilled, making you the final cut for the team."
"Wow." Hayden breathed, looking at her profile picture, then at Mitchell. "Dad … Captain. I'm speechless."
Joel still wasn't having it. "I heard you out." He stood up. "I think you're nuts. I'm out of here."
"Wait!" Carter calls, causing him to stop. "That explains it." He mutters, looking ahead across the table.
"What?" Dana asks.
"The fire." Carter answered as he remembered what he saw. "When I was saving that girl, I saw someone in the flames. It was one of them … one of the demons."
"Father." Dana turns to Captain Mitchell, the telephone starts to beep behind her, Mitchell moves to grab it.
"Mitchell here."
"You need to see this sir." A voice on the other end said.
"Bring it up on the monitor."
The screen turns on to see a building exploding and fire erupts in the city. Demons are flying through the city, proving they are real. The ground shakes as people ran in panic and rubble fell on top of people.
"Our city needs you." Captain Mitchell said, watching the young adults.
Carter stood up. "I'm in, sir."
Kelsey rose too. "Me too."
Chad stood up. "I want to help."
"Me too." Hayden stood up, she felt silly to do so as she's still a teen and standing in a room full of adults. They all looked at Joel.
"What do we do first?" He asked, caving in.
Captain Mitchell opens a case that was resting on the table, he shows them what's inside.
6 morphers.
"These are your Rescue Morphers." He told them as the five of them each took one.
Dana frowns as she looks at the 6th morpher still inside. "Six?"
"You are the 6th." Her father told her.
"Me?"
"For 18 years, I have been training you for this." Captain Mitchell showed her her own file. "It's yours … if you want it."
Dana smiled, taking the morpher and joining the new Rangers.
"Alright Rangers, time to go to work." Captain Mitchell said.

"These are your jackets." Dana said as she and Hayden lead their fellow Rangers to a closet. Hayden reaches for the jacket with a number 1.
"Carter." She hands him the orange and black jacket. "Chad." Hayden hands the new blue Ranger the jacket with number 2. "Joel." She hands him the number 3 jacket. "Kelsey." She hands her the number 4 jacket. "Sis." She hands Dana the number 5 jacket. "And lastly me, number 6." She takes the last jacket out of the closet.
Another alarm goes off as the Rangers head to the jeep. "Whoa, this is hype." Joel said.
"Wow." Kelsey smiled.
Carter climbs into the driver seat.
"Start it." Dana told him, sliding into the passenger seat.
"He knows how to drive Dana." Hayden told her sister.
"Seatbelt, brat!" Dana glared at her.
"Hey, hey." Joel leaned forward, poking his head between Carter and Dana, but Joel was looking at Dana. "Can't the sister cat fight wait until, oh I don't know, until tomorrow?"

Through the tunnel of the base, Carter drives the hummer to the surface. Out in the city, the fire and demons are creating hectic.
"Batlings, we've waited a long time for this. Destroy them!"
The Hummer screeched as the Rangers arrived on scene, watching it unfold. "Come on, let's go help those people."
"Right!" The others jump out of the hummer, they start running towards the Battlings. "Run! Go!" Kelsey shouted to a group of people, who were hiding.
"Go, go!" Chad shouted. The fire monster looks up to see Carter driving towards him with Hayden, who was standing and shooting a laser at him as she rests the laser on top of the windshield for it to be steady.
"Get down!" Carter ordered, speeding up. Hayden quickly plopped down on the bench seat in the backseat, just as Carter spins the Hummer around with a loud screech of the tires and a halt.
"Whoa!" Hayden cried, as Carter jumps out and turns to her.
"You ok?" He asks, helping her out of the jeep.
"Yeah." She nods.
The fire monster comes up to the Hummer, attacking Carter and throwing him into a lamp pole.
"Carter!" Hayden cried, just before she was grabbed and thrown into the new red Ranger. "What do we do, Carter?" She asks as she watches the others getting beaten up.
"Rangers, use your morphers." Captain Mitchell's voice spoke from the morphers.
The new team nodded in understanding. Standing up, Carter helps up Hayden as the others run over to them to stand in formation.
"Hey, you with the hot temper!" Carter called out and the fire monster turns to face him. "You want to destroy our city? You'll have to go through us to do it! Ready?"
"Ready!"
"LIGHTSPEED, RESCUE!"
The Rangers soon morphed.
"Power Rangers?" The monster asked as they leap onto the other side of him.
"Alright!" Carter said as the bystanders cheered.
"Whoa! It worked!" Chad said, looking down at himself.
"This feels incredible!" Kelsey also looks down at her new suit, she gets a skirt like Dana and Hayden.
"This is what we needed." Carter said, looking at his team. "Let get to work!"
"Hyah!"
"Batlings, destroy them!" The monster ordered.
"Power Rangers, Rescue Ready!" Shouted the new Power Ranger team, then went straight for the Batlings.
The Rangers made quick work in destroying the Batlings, and soon after destroying the fire monster, they returned to base.

Everyone in the base cheered and clapped as the Rangers walked through the base, coming up to Captain Mitchell who waited for them.
"There's a time to celebrate, but this is not that time." Mitchell warns, and the cheering and clapping soon faded. "You see, now Diabolico knows that you exist. You think this fight was tough? Just wait."
"But sir, we just destroyed Dibolico, didn't we?" Kelsey asked.
Oh no." Michell shook his head. "That was just one of his monsters. You want to defeat him? You've got a lot of work to do." He looks around the room. "We all do."
Dana salutes her father, causing everyone to follow suit.
