Junior Pov:

"A new year has started. Didn't exactly think it be so peaceful, I mean I'm not saying it's a good thing, but nothing happened when Monster High had New Year's Eve happened. The school was closed for the day, and everyone went to their family homes to try and enjoy their vacation, but not everyone since I didn't have a place to go since the only home, I could head to be my mountain. Not exactly homey but better than sleeping in a school filled with gargoyles, though that is about to change since someone who I'm not naming desired to visit a friend of ours. And seeing that I've always wanted to see what the human world looked like, how could I refuse? Still, it's going to be difficult to explain how we planned to head to our friend's home uninvited and unannounced. But hey, what's the point of being a monster and Kaiju if you can't enjoy causing trouble for no reason?"

Clawdeen's Home-Nighttime

Right when Nightmore had wrapped up and the holidays coming around the corner, the half human and werewolf ghoul Clawdeen decided to return to her dad's home to enjoy some relaxation and peace. Right now she was in her room resting on her bed expressing a blissful emotion of how while Monster High was unlike anything she had experienced, it couldn't beat being back at home.

"I'm telling you Crescent. You would have loved it there, a cat like you would fit right in with the ghouls. Though I'm not sure about the policy for pets. I mean it's still a surprise to me that Bloodgood didn't find out about Watzie."

Talking to her house pet Crescent as the feline meowed towards her owner on how Clawdeen had been telling her about the experience she had at the new school. For a while, the only one that she could talk to be her cat since she couldn't meet anyone else since she was the only werewolf around the area. So, her father adopted Crescent, so she didn't need to feel alone, however now it was the opposite since the wolf girl had a chance to meet with so many monsters, ghouls, and Kaiju alike.

"Maybe we can try calling some of them. What do you think?"

Clawdeen asked her cat, and she noticed how Crescent began to stretch her legs and curled up on her bed as she went to sleep. The wolf girl only smiled at how she hadn't changed right before leaving for school, though that didn't affect her decision in looking up her friends on her laptop. Walking over and setting it up Clawdeen tried to reach them threw the phone numbers that she got from them before returning home. Using a secret website only known to students from Monster High she was able to look up her friend's numbers and tried to face time them, yet there was no answer from most of them.

"Odd. I told them about this, and they seemed excited to talk to me online, maybe they have a bad connection."

Questioning how she seemed to be having difficulty contacting her friends online. Deciding to try several of her friend's numbers looking for any results it only leads to no connection, luckily it seemed that she managed to get one ghoul online as well as established a connection on face time.

"Hola Clawdeen!"

An excited voice shouted from the screen was Lagoona who returned home to the sea to spend time with her parents. Clawdeen smiled at the aquatic ghoul since they managed to find several things that they could talk about including sports and meals that their parents would make for them.

"Hola Lagoona, how's it been since you returned home?"

Asking her aquatic friend if the journey back to the sea was long since she had to take a bus back to her parent's cove and travel deep into the water so she could return home. Lagoona shrugged it off not thinking it was a fuss since her trip back was easy than heading to Monster High since there weren't any humans that could see her.

"Bein. But anyway, have you tried to talk to Draculaura and the others? I tried to call them so I could introduce them to Neptuna. And I can see you have a furry companion as well. Hello Kitty."

Lagoona talked about how she was having issues contacting the others which seemed odd since it was unlike them to not respond to her calls. Though changed quickly when she saw Crescent as the feline noticed the aquatic ghoul, leaving the cat to yawn softly before falling back to sleep.

"Don't mind her, whenever a full moon comes around she gets more tired. Anyway, I tried to see if they were doing alright, but I didn't get an answer. Or even a text from my Icoffin, any chance you could call them?"

Asking her if there was a chance Lagoona could have tried to get a response from any of them but got nothing. They probably didn't have a good connection or could have been busy with their parents. Deciding to try and have a conversation with Lagoona about what she could expect at the school but at that moment her connection suddenly got cut off as well the rest of her lights.

"The heck?"

Looking both confused and alarmed about what had happened as Clawdeen didn't understand how she lost power. The wolf girl stood up to check the outlets and see if anything was removed from the wall, continuing to check on what might be wrong there was a loud clattering sound happening outside that spooked Crescent making the feline hiss at the sound. Running out of the room filled with adrenaline leaving Clawdeen worried that whatever caused the power outage might have come from outside. Getting up from her desk and placing on a jacket she decided to see what was happening and leaves her room noticing her cat making a mess during her panicked moment.

"Dang it, there's already a rowdy cat that's running around at school. I don't need you to be one at home."

Thinking about Toralei at that moment since from how Draculaura had described her, the werecat wasn't exactly someone she'd want to hang around. Seeing where Crescent left by using the cat door, Clawdeen was about to head out when she heard a yelp from outside of her house. Stopping right at the door her wolf instincts kicked in with her claws coming out in an alarmed manner not knowing who was here in the middle of the night and at her doorstep.

"Crescent?"

Calling out her name not knowing what might have happened to the cat as she prepared for whatever might be behind the door. Not wasting the moment Clawdeen opened the door quickly and put on her most frightening face just in case it was a stranger. Except it was Godzilla Junior who had her cat on his face as well claws seeped into his scale.

"Your cat has sharp claws."

Stating to her how when he came up to the door Clawdeen's cat rushed right onto his face and sink its claws into his face. Letting her take Crescent off his face, Clawdeen looked shocked at how the Kaiju was here and at her house. She dragged him into the house quickly so no one might see him, except there was someone else at the door that stopped it from closing. Confused at the idea of someone else outside she opened the door and saw Frankie with an excited expression on their face.

"Clawdeen!"

Shouting excited as they came in for a hug Clawdeen reluctantly accepted her friend's hug not expecting them to be there. Taking the moment to think about what was happening she then noticed by Frankie's side several of her friends. Draculaura, Cleo, and Ceasar were right by the house leaving her speechless at how they were there.

"So, are you going leave your guests here in the dark or let us see your human home?"

Cleo asked her about letting them into the house Clawdeen merely brought them in quickly before anyone since she did live on a block with neighbors. Luckily for her most of them were out for the holidays so their homes were empty. Gathering everyone into her home Clawdeen decided to hug each of them since it's been a while after leaving the Kaiju realm, the two Kaiju's and ghouls smiled at how the werewolf seemed excited to see them.

"Now then, what are you all doing here?!"

Questioning them while being as quiet as possible since her dad was asleep in his room which was good since his job kept him busy leaving her to head out to explore the forest and ride on her skateboard. It was beside the point since her ghouls and kaiju friends came here unannounced and were here right in front of her. Turning towards Draculaura she knew it would be best that she explains the situation.

"It's complicated. It involves Frankie's parents not letting them come home because their dad accidentally scaring some people so they didn't want Frankie to get involved in the situation. So, Junior decided to let Frankie stay at his mountain except he got attacked by some flying Kaiju that messed it up. That's when Cleo came back to check out the mansion that I used for the Nightmore party and thought she could do better, but my dad had to use it for a vampiric meeting. Eventually Frankie had an idea and involved us coming here since you have a human parent that wouldn't mind us sleeping here for a bit."

Giving out a full detailed explanation how it started with Frankie not being able to go home due to their parents wanting to protect their reanimated ghoul. Leading up to Junior being attacked as usual from other competitors then seeing Cleo who desired to possibly have another Nightmore party and then going to see if Draculaura couldn't help the trio. This left Clawdeen sorry for Frankie's dilemma and how it seemed there was no place to go with everyone else's places being occupied or no available.

"Well, I'm sort of glad that you stopped by since I got worried about you all since I couldn't call you. everyone still needs to be quiet as possible."

Explaining how she was going to let them stay here at her home. This resulted in Frankie smiling excitedly and rushing over to offer a hug, their friendly gesture resulted in Clawdeen getting shocked by the hug which forced Frankie to stop so their werewolf host wouldn't get to electrocuted.

"Sorry. It's my first time sleeping over at a human house and with so many friends, when I am discussing the numerous things that most sleepovers happened, I may have short circuited the power box outside."

Informing her about the reason by the electricity coming off them as Clawdeen nodded since she somehow was able to withstand Frankie's shocking hugs. Without a moment's notice the others saw how the lights were turning on in her room and around the kitchen, but they suddenly heard the door opening from the other side of the room.

"Clawdeen? Is everything alright?"

A voice calling out down the hallway as it was her father Apollo, worried about the sudden arrival of her friends she was going to suggest them to head into her room. However, turning her back Clawdeen saw her five guests vanishing without making a sound. Leaving her confused by the sudden disappearing act Apollo made his way into the living room noticing his daughter right in the middle of the living who was holding a frightened Crescent.

"It's nothing dad, some squirrels may have tripped on the power lines. Got her spooked and ran outside, tried to chase them and came back in."

Coming up with an excuse to keep calm and not let out the fact his house was filled with monsters and Kaiju. Apollo took a moment to check out if it was true since he woke up with the lights in his room off. While the father decided to take the cat to possible keep her company, Clawdeen noticed by one of the shelves was Draculaura who had quickly changed into a bat where she hid behind the plates. Right by the curtains was Junior and Frankie keeping their feet off the ground and holding their breath.

"Alright, I'll keep Crescent close for the night. Just stay up to late, especially your friends that are trying to hide."

Confirming both facts of keeping the house cat safe and realizing that her friends were here in his house. The last sentence caught her off guard making Clawdeen confused at how he figured it out leaving the others to come out since they were confused how he figured how he knew they were in the room.

"He has a good nose in smelling other creatures, but not for magic."

A voice calling out which was Caesar since he and Cleo were completely invisible as the two walked away from a wall which allowed them to be visible. Clawdeen wanted to ask how they were able to become invisible but got her answer when she noticed the Egyptian idol in her hands which represented one of her gods.

"Osiris. God of death and the afterlife, also good at hiding."

Cleo giving an explanation behind the idol before putting it back into her bag she and the other teen monsters followed Frankie back into her room so they could get settled in. Gesturing a smile to her and the Shisa Kaiju, Clawdeen decided to try and get them comfortable and share what it's like living like a human being.

Later-Clawdeen's Room

Settling in her room as well the surroundings of its small environment, her friends did the best to get comfortable since they weren't used to human homes. That didn't stop Cleo from looking around Clawdeen's closet and Frankie looking around the decor of the room as it fascinated them on the photos and items that the wolf girl had stored.

"I'm no expert on human culture but isn't it rude to be looking around someone else's stuff?"

Junior questioning how the two ghouls and especially Draculaura were curious about their friend's stuff in which the vampire took a moment to look at a photo showing her parents. Smiling at the picture of how a couple like this could exist, most stories involving cross marriages didn't go so well since they would turn on one another due to conflicts with species.

"Your half correct, but we're ghouls and her friends so there benefits to that. Plus she's going be a part of the fear leading team, so I can take a look at my teammates fashion sense since she's joining."

Cleo stating to the king as she took a moment to check out several clothes of Clawdeen which would need a change if she was going be on the team. Junior merely decides to keep to himself and look outside since he's never seen a human forest before. Calm and peaceful without any Kaiju's stomping around or monsters messing around trying to scare one another. His moment was interrupted by the door opening up showing Clawdeen with a large plate of snacks for everyone as they gathered by the side to see what she had to offer.

"Luckily my dad saved my birthday cake just after I left for Monster High."

Showing them the cake that still seemed preserved and good enough to eat, each of them were able to grab a piece and see how the cake taste. It was decent but still welcoming all the same since they were new to being in a human household.

"Thank you Clawdeen for your hospitality. My parents used to welcome others when we started to protect innocents. Never thought I'd be offered food and shelter."

Caesar commenting on the wolf girl's hospitality in welcoming them here since it was his family's tradition in welcoming others when they had to protect them. Clawdeen smiled at his response since she thought they wouldn't exactly get along due to the rivalry that he and Junior had started. It didn't mean that they couldn't be friends and try to understand one another, as they got comfortable Frankie wanted to say something to Clawdeen.

"Especially that it's very opened here and not having secrets like at the school."

Commenting how the home here felt relaxing and safe then learning what Monster High had kept in the shadows. This caught Clawdeen off guard since she herself didn't know that much about her mom before passing away, seeing how it was personal topic to her dad. Shaking her head about the idea she wanted to know about other stuff happening with the others.

"Yeah. While secrets are one problem we can handle, I have recently had a new one that I don't know will happen."

Having no choice but to state his situation at had as he pulled out the stuffed animal he got from the mysterious gift giver when he was at Draculaura's holiday party. Allowing them to take a look at it the plush toy it seemed cute, Draculaura noticed some scars across the body.

"Either someone is trying to get into your head, or they have a messed up sense in getting your attention since these markings show how to hurt you."

The vampire pointing out as she handed the toy to Frankie to get a better look at it as they confirmed how with the stuffed toy was made it was a clear sign of however made it knew how to hurt Junior. Hearing those words made the Kaiju lizard growl at the idea of another Kaiju knowing how to fight him, but it didn't make him scared of whoever was challenging him. Clawdeen was still having issues with this whole 'fight for the title' dilemma that Junior had been going through since it made no sense with how time had passed and everyone getting along back in the realm.

"But why? It's been years since your dad passed away and Kaiju's still want to be king. What else are they expecting?"

Asking Junior and the others since they've been around Kaiju's longer than her and could explain what other benefits other Kaiju would get if they beat Junior. The last part made the lizard growl at the last part seeing how his scales glowed slowly for Clawdeen to get an understanding of what they get if they beat him.

"Authority. When Kaiju's have a king and have proven to the others, they are powerful they are loyal to that creature. Along can ask them of anything, to help in any kind of situation. Or something bad."

Frankie giving Clawdeen a explanation that if anyone could beat Junior and survive, they would be the new king and command any Kaiju to do whatever they desire. Much in history class Gojira before the realm became habitable to monsters merely kept to himself and made his presence known as the strongest Kaiju around. The same path that Junior is following except now learning to accept the responsibility and the power in him, still that didn't mean others wouldn't be ambitious to try and take his title and the power of ruling other Kaiju's.

"The only thing that I'm planning to do is keeping peace between monsters and Kaiju's. Plus letting several human albums welcome in the realm, a lizard's got to have some fun."

Telling them about what exactly he would want as the group left out a laugh at how he still enjoyed human music and would want to share it with others. Still, it was sad that even with him finding a home at Monster High and making new friends he will still have to continue the fight until he proved to everyone he was their king.

"Maybe that can change when we head back to Monster High. Who knows, I heard Deuce is going try and be class president. Maybe he can help you out."

Clawdeen offering advice as the lizard merely nodded slowly giving her the doubt that it was a good idea but knew that the only way to convince Kaiju's that want power was through strength. While it didn't so positive to think it was how Kaiju to act, it was the truth. Taking a moment to look at her clock it appeared that they had to get some sleep since they've been up for a while.

"Don't worry about the sleeping arrangements. I packed a small generator in my bag for me to charge myself."

Frankie assuring their friend about where they can sleep as the reanimated ghoul pulled out a small battery pack with two cables on the side. Though that didn't sit well with Clawdeen as she walked over to her closet and pulled out a spare mattress that she had for just the occasion. Placing it on the side of her bed she was curious to see if the others would share the mattress.

"Same Clawdeen, I always carry a sarcophagus on me wherever I go somewhere that isn't that big."

Cleo making the same response as she pulled out from her bag a small sarcophagus which she places it by the side of the room. Reading the incantation from the hieroglyphics the sarcophagus suddenly expanded in size just for Cleo as she got herself comfortable before closing the lid. The others were speechless on how Cleo was well prepared and having her own type of 'abilities'.

"Egyptian magic. Hard to explain unless you've been around it, and I mean around it."

Caesar helping them think about what they just saw as he curled up by the side like a lion before settling in to rest. Draculaura decided to take the mattress when she and Clawdeen noticed Godzilla Junior rest by the side with a pillow who was chuckling to himself about something funny. The two gave him a look curious about what was making him laugh.

"You don't see it? Cleo. Short for Cleopatra? Caesar? That Roman human? Seriously that's ironic."

Amused by the strange human connection he made after a while of hanging out with the Egyptian duo as he got comfortable before heading to sleep by his own means. Still, the small joke he made didn't change Clawdeen's feeling for how he had to struggle with surviving each day knowing that none of the Kaiju believe he would be their king.

"Trust me Clawdeen, the more you worry about it the more Junior will have to stress about protecting us. But we're good at looking after ourselves well."

Draculaura asuring her that he's been doing this since for a while and hasn't lost a fight. The vampire got herself comfortable in bed before drifting off to sleep leaving Clawdeen the only one awake to look at her friends sleeping in her room, presumably how this was considered her first sleepover. Hearing the door creaking she saw her cat Crescent sneaking pass everyone to leap right onto Clawdeen's lap which surprised her on how the cat slipped pass out of her father's room.

"Yeah, these are my friends. For better or worse, I couldn't ask for anything else."

Expressing her interest in each of them on how while they each had issues they had to handle on their own, she'd be sure to help out however she could. Especially learning more about herself since she could figure out what her mother did at Monster High when she attended there. Though that would have to wait another day until things settle down and everyone returns back to the school after there vacation break.
