It was a week later, Hayden smiled as she's greeted back warmly. She was now sitting in the boardroom with the other Rangers and Captain Mitchell.

"Rangers, pay very close attention." Mitchell said as shows them a project on the monitor. "This fuel cell is top select and is extremely powerful."

"When you say extremely powerful. How powerful? City wide? State wide?" Hayden asked, sitting between Joel and Chad, her eyes grew. "The whole USA!?"

"You don't want to know." Her father answered. "Also, remember its sensitive to high temperature, so you must keep it away from heat no matter what." And explosion is on screen.

"Whoa." Dana breathed.

"Yikes." Hayden squeaked, shrinking in her chair.

"You'll meet Dr. Hanson at the airport. He'll have it with him." Captain Mitchell told them. "Your job is to make sure it gets back here safe and sound."

"Understood, sir." Carter said, standing up. "Nothing will happen to that fuel cell. Come on guys."

The Rangers started to leave.

"Dana, Hayden."

The sisters stop and turn to to their father. "I have a different assignment for you."

"Alright, what is it?" Dana asked, looking at Kelsey.

"Come on." Joel said to Kelsey, the two followed the others out.

"I asked an old friend of mine to stop by." He told the girls. "But she hasn't been in Mariner Bay since Ryan."

"Wait." Hayden frowned, then smiled a little. "Are you talking about Ileana?"

"You remember her?" Captain Mitchell asked his youngest.

"Of course I do." Hayden smiled. "I also remember her being pretty." Her smile faded. "She did a lot for us, I know I was pretty young when the crash happened. I."-

"You were still on the cliff!" Dana cut in sharply. "While the three of us dangled, with dad holding onto a root with me and Ryan as added weight."

"I got the help we needed!" Hayden shot back, hurt filled her voice.

"Girls, please." Captain Mitchell said. "The past is the past."

"Need to move on." Hayden sighed. "Go it."

At a landing strip, the Rangers, minus Dana were waiting patiently by the Lightspeed Hummer for the helicopter to land. "Let's go." Carter said as a man in a suit opens the door and takes the man holding a locked box containing the fuel cell. "Dr. Hanson?"

The man looks up. "Yes. Are you with Lightspeed?"

"Relax, doc. You're in good hands." Joel assured.

At a buss station, the Mitchell sisters waited inside the station. Hayden just pulled out a soda from a vending machine.

"What did I tell you about those?" Dana questioned as Hayden opened the can.

"Will you stop acting like mom? We had her, I don't need or want another. What I need is a sister."

"I am your sister." Dana said.

"Exactly! So, can you please act like it?" Hayden asked, moving towards some benches and sitting down.

Dana huffed, folding her arms as she followed her and sat next to her. "Why are we here anyway? Why do we have to bring dad's friend back to base?" She clearly wasn't happy.

"Stop complaining." Hayden told her. "It's annoying."

Dana rolled her eyes. "It's obvious."

"What is?"

"Our father still doesn't trust us." Dana grumped, sourly. "Why make us Rangers, then send the others on a very important mission, but we as in his daughters get stuck baby-sitting."

"Ok." Hayden said, standing up. "I'm going to leave to find the restroom. And then, hopefully, your sour grape mood will be gone."

After awhile, Hayden walked around a corner. But paused as she felt felt eyes on her. Looking around she frowned as she walked. Not paying attention, she bumped into a trolly full of bags, knocking some of them off. "Oh! I'm sorry!" She apologized.

"Watch it, kid!" The man grumped as he grabbed the bags from the floor, then snatched the one that Hayden had picked up.

"Hey, you can't talk to my sister like that! Be great full that we're busy and not report you to your boss!" Dana said hotly as she walked over, taking Hayden's arm and pulling her away.

The two walked back to the chairs and sat down.

The sisters were quiet for along while, Hayden thinking about the shadow she saw and Dana is still silently fuming over this friend.

Finally, Hayden had to add salt to Dana's flame.

"Ya know. I saw Carter talking to someone on his cell a few days ago."

"So what? He's allowed, I'm not his mom."

"He was smiling, I think I heard a girl's voice."

Dana turned to glare at her. "It could've been his mom."

Hayden rolled her eyes.

"Playing with feelings of the heart is a serious matter." A woman's voice spoke, causing the sisters to turn to see a brunette woman standing there. "Dana, and Hayden Mitchell. Look at you too, so grown up."

"Ileana." Dana smiled. "You're our father's friend?"

"Hello, girls. It's been so long. Dana, you look beautiful, and Hayden, look how much you've grown." Ileana smiles at the sisters. "Both of you look beautiful."

"I'm surprised you remember us." Hayden smiled.

"How can I forget the Mitchell family?" Ileana smiled.

Dana smiled. "Are we ready?"

Walking outside and to one of Lightspeed's cars, Dana's morpher goes off. "Dana, we need you!" Carter's voice came through. "And fast!"

"I'm on my way!" Dana said.

"Negative Dana." Her father's voice came next. "Return to the Aquabase."

"I'll go." Hayden offered.

"No, both of you return to base."

Hayden's shoulders slumped. "Yes, sir."

"But."- Dana started to argue.

"That's an order!" Captain Mitchell said firmly. Dana angrily slammed a hand on the steering wheel.

On the way to the base. Hayden rolled down the passenger window and Dana rolled down the other windows.

"I don't think this is normal summer heatwave." Hayden groaned, pulling her hair into a simple ponytail.

A fireball fired near the car, causing it to swerve and crash into several containers. "Everyone ok?" Dana asked, looking at the two.

"Nothing broken. I'm good." Hayden smiled.

"Me too." Ileana nodded. The three climb out of the car. Ileana then sees an ice box.

"Ileana, what are you doing?" Hayden questioned as Ileana opens the door of the ice box and quickly puts in the ice.

"What are you?" Dana trails off as Ileana turns to them, opening her fake necklace to show the fuel cell. "The fuel cell?" She asked. "You had it with you the whole time."

"Yes ma'am." Ileana smiled. "Will and I hoped that nothing would happen. But just in case something did happen. Your father insisted that it'd be his children, that way I'd get to the Aquabase no matter what."

"Dad said that?" Dana asked.

"He did. Dana, if your father didn't believe in you, he would've sent one of the other Rangers."

"Why couldn't he just have told me this?"

Hayden rolled her eyes. "Because you wouldn't give hi the chance." She turns to see the same shadowy figure from before. "Ok!" She turns back around, getting freaked out. "We have the real fuel cell, can we please get back home!?"

Before Dana could say anything, another fireball hits the icebox, causing the three of them to hit the ground. Ileana crawls towards her necklace when Vypra finds them, Ileana pulls out the fuel cell and quickly wraps it in her light jacket with ice inside.

"Hayden, Ileana!" Dana looked turned to them. Vypra, with sword in hand, walks towards the three, laughing as she gets closer.

"We need to get out of here!" Dana said as she grabs Ileana's arm and helps her up."

"What about dad's car?" Hayden asked as she follows. "We can't leave it behind!"

"We have no choice!" Dana said, turning to her.

The three moved quickly to hide from Vypra. They hurry towards the pier, reaching the water.

"Hyah!" Vypra appears behind them, as she gets closer, Dana stumbles a bit and looks down at the water behind her. Dana grabs Hayden's hand.

"Ileana, can you swim?"

"Not well."

Dana reaches for her hand. "Please trust me."

Vypra attacks just as Hayden grabs something to deflect it, creating sparks. When the smoke cleared, Vypra looked up to see she lost the two Rangers.

In the water, a submarine approaches the Aquabase, Captain Mitchell heads to meet Dana.

"You made it." He said once the elevator doors opened,

"It's all thanks to Dana." Ileana smiled.

"Sir, the others." Dana started.

"Go." Mitchell nods.

"With all do respect Captain. I'm still not feeling up to it." Hayden said. "I'm feeling yucky."

Captain Mitchell wrapped his arm around her. "Are you ok?" He asked gently.

"I need a whole month of sleep."

Her father laughed. "Take Ileana to Miss. Fairweather, then go to your quarters. I'll have Dana and Kelsey check on you after they return."
