Everyone was rendered speechless for several minutes then Gibbs fixed her with a hard glare as he asked, "I thought you were in France with DiNozzo and Tali?"
She replied, "I was but then Tony was murdered during an attack by Laskar."
Gibbs knew she was talking about the attack 18 months ago; when Lashkar had set off several containers of GB-GF mixture (GB (sarin) and GF (cyclosarin) in all of the Parisian subways. Gibbs said, "I'm sorry to hear that. Is Tali, okay?"
Ziva replied in a monotone, "No she was killed as well."
Gibbs, Kelly and McGee noticed she was acting like she did when they had first met her. Gibbs asked, "Do you know this team we are meeting with?"
DCI Ramirez; who had until now chosen to remain silent spoke up, "They are a black ops team we employ for rather sensitive operations."
Kelly snarked, So basically mercs. I can't stand mercs. She had graduated high school in 02 as the valedictorian and promptly went to Annapolis and then in 06 went to the USMC as a United States Marine Corps Criminal Investigation Division (Marine Corps CID or USMC CID) agent. Then 2012 she joined NCIS and in 2015 became a reserve REACT operator. Ziva looked at Pseudo family as she said, "They are all very good people."
Both Kelly and Gibbs harrumphed as Kelly said, "We shall see."

As Gibbs and the MCRT team were standing just outside the hanger they saw the CIA Gulfstream G700 taxi and stop right in front of them. Then the door opened and the air stairs lowered. Gibbs was slightly surprised to see the CO of NAVIR CADM Haron "Harm Rabb and his wife LTGEN Sarah "Mac" McKenzie nee Rabb the current Judge Advocate General of the Navy.
Knight was shocked to she replied, "I her little brother John here; she hadn't seen him since he left the Marines 5 years ago. She was about to greet him when he was surrounded by five heavily armed men in tactical gear and a huge Belgian Malinois. She caught his eye and gestured for him to come over to her. He walked over to her leading his team and the JAG' COS CAPT. Loren Singer nee Rabb Jessica was warmly greeted by the other men then she asked, "Where have you been for the last five years?"
John replied, "I left the Corps 5 years and PSC called Vanguard Securities."
Knight continued, "How does you joining PSC preclude you from contacting me."
John said, "I've been busy Jess shit back the hell off."
And with that he led his team and Loren to waiting Ford Excursions. They were about to get into the SUV when Harm and Mac stopped beside the SUV and fixed Dalton with a pointed glare as he barked, "Keep us informed."
Dalton gave him the finger as he snarled, "Eat me flyboy."
Harm heaved a frustrating sigh as they walked off. Once they were gone Dalton turned to his men and said, "Everyone go to Langley. Loren, Vic and me will liaise NCIS."
They all chuckled as Vic snarked, "Who you kidding bro your people skills suck."
A very familiar voice said from behind them, "Oh I don't know they were pretty good the last time we all worked together."
They all whirled and came face to face with none other than Ziva David. To say they were ass shocked would be the understatement of the year. After several minutes Dalton gathered Ziva in his arms and whisper, "I thought you were dead kid."
Ziva replied, "No; only my husband and my little girl were murdered by cowards. With that being said, "I am to on your team until this operation is over and the murderous cowards are dead.,"
Dalton readily agreed much to the chagrin of Loren. Loren utterly hated Ziva; for she saw younger women was hopelessly in love with Dalton even though she herself was married and now grieving for her lost love a fate Loren would wish on no one. Vic said, "I'm terribly sorry Ziva."
Ziva nodded as she led them over to the NCIS MCRT and Gibbs.
