For this i am assuming thr kids end up in a fight against their parents and this is the night before the final battle.
(Miorine talks to Ariel before a final battle.)
Miorine sighed as she sat in her shared room with Suletta looking up at the ceiling 'All we wanted was to be left alone, we never asked to be part of this.' The white-haired girl mused as she thought about what was coming tomorrow 'Typical only time father sees me as important is the time he's trying to kill me.'
Miorine looked to her side and could see Suletta sleeping on the bed on the other side of the room, the sight brought a wave of calm over the white-haired girl, it was like the redhead's presence made everything ok to Miorine.
'Likely because you were there to help me and stand up for me.' Miorine thought as she walked over to Suletta thinking of the time the redhead had smacked Guel, Miorine could still remember the girl shaking yet still standing up to him and calling him out and then agreeing to the duel.
"I'm still not sure if you were brave or foolish." The white-haired girl whispered to the redhead as she sat on the edge of the bed and took Suletta's hand 'Then again I have heard those are two sides of the same coin.'
Miorine smiled as she sat on the bed watching Suletta sleeping peacefully for a few minutes finding the sight somehow comforting and the whitehaired girl could almost forget what was coming tomorrow, almost.
The white-haired felt a heaviness wrap around her heart, that was suffocating her, Miorine pinched her nose with her free hand, deciding she needed to get something off her chest but didn't wish to risk disturbing the sleeping girl.
Miorine brushed a stray hair behind the red heads ear and worried as she saw Suletta stir but thankfully not wake up "I'll be right back." Miorine whispered and gently kissing the back the redhead's hand before quietly leaving the room.
The whitehaired girl walked quietly through the corridor careful to not wake the others sleeping in their rooms all the while a heaviness weighing on her.
Once she reached the hanger, she opened the door and walked along the gangway to her target, Ariel.
"I'm not disturbing you, am I?" Miorine said looking up at Ariel's head 'Before Suletta I would have never seen myself doing this.' The whitehaired girl added in the mind "I'm sorry if I am but I don't have anyone else to talk to right now, Suletta has enough on her plate and I don't need to be adding to it or making her worry about me with what's about to come."
Miorine stopped herself and took a breath to calm herself down and compose herself before gently placeing her hand on the suits shell.
"I've been meaning to say thank you for your help in that duel that started all this and sorry for my poor handling that day, I wasn't very experienced."
Miorine got a strange sense Ariel would be giving her an 'oh really' look right now if she was capable of emoting "Ok, I had never done it before in my life, sorry." Miorine admitted.
The white-haired girl smiled before the smile dropped to a frown "Tomorrow's going to be hell, you know that right?"
Miorine lay her head against the mobile suits frame "I don't claim to fully understand the relationship between you two, but I understand enough to know your important to each other."
Miorine felt a smile filled with worry appear on her face before looking up at the suits head again "Just like she's important to me, so I'm asking if any of you can really understand me Ariel, please bring her back ok and bring yourself back too, as you've become a big part of my life and I don't want to lose either of you, this might sound strange, but I want to get to understand you."
"I would never have thought the two of you would have had such a big impact on my life when you plucked me out of space." Miorine gave a little laugh "looking back that wasn't my brightest idea."
"While I wish we weren't in this situation, I don't regret knowing you two, it's been the only thing that's brought some light into my life since my mother passed away and I wouldn't give it up to the world."
"I bet your wondering why I'm saying this to you and not her?" Miorine said taking a step back and looking at Ariels face, the white-haired girl looked at Ariel a moment and got a strange sense she was giving Miorine a hint to continue.
"I want to." Miorine said walking backwards to the railing behind her "And I would but, recently talking to her seems difficult for me."
Miorine let out a sigh before she began "My throat tightens up, my palms sweat, her smile feels like a lightning bolt through my heart and when I'm touching and holding her my heart flutters so much, I feel like I'm having a heart attack." Miorine grabbed her heart to stopped herself and took a breath to calm herself down.
"I guess you know what all that means, I want to tell her so badly how I feel, but whenever I think about doing so, I feel a chill run up my spine and a big hole open in my stomach, you two have been the best things to ever happen to me and don't want to lose you two, even the thought of it makes me hurt in ways I never thought I would."
Miorine let out a frustrated sigh as she looked up to the ceiling "I never intended to force her to marry me or for things to end up like this, I just…" Miorine paused letting out a resigned sigh "I can't help but think about her rejecting me and refusing to talk to me anymore…Damn it Suletta what have done to me." The white-haired girl groaned before walking back up to Ariel and hugging the machine the best she could.
"I hope you won't hate me for saying this and I don't intend to steal her away from you, but I need to say this or I feel I'll explode and I can't say it to her so you're the only person I can say it to." Miorine said her face pressed to the panel in front of her.
"I love her." Miorine said quietly, suddenly the words that seemed so hard to say for ages were now like the easiest thing to say in the world to her "I love you Suletta." Miorine more confidently and with a small smile "I love your smile, your kind heart, your clumsy and enduring nature, I love hair, I love everything about you, I love you Suletta Mercury, with all my heart and I wish I could tell you but I'm terrified you'll hate me for it."
Miorine stayed holding Ariel for a while, scared if she did, she might float away for a moment from all the weight she'd just let go of and not noticing the suit glow a moment.
"I should probably leave you be." Miorine said breaking off Ariel "Good night and stay safe out there please." Miorine smiled before leaving the hanger area.
Miorine walked quietly back to the room feeling a sense of relief that she'd been able to get the weight off her shoulders, but the ache in her heart was still present.
As she opened the door, she could see Suletta sitting up in the bed looking at something on her notebook, she was so absorbed she didn't even notice Miorine opening the door "Suletta?"
At the mention of her name the redhead jumped in surprise and nearly dropped the notebook, the scene got a small smile out of Miorine "Sorry didn't mean to scare you."
"It…t…t…it's fine." Suletta stuttered as she tried to calm herself down, though Miorine noticed the redhead wasn't looking at her.
"Is something wrong?"
"N…n…No." Suletta said shaking her head and hugging the notebook to her chest tightly, like her life depended on it.
"You're a poor liar." Miorine scowled at the redhead as she closed the door and sat on the bed next to her and fixed her with a stare, while her heart began to ache "What's wrong?" Miorine asked again only for a chill to run down her spine as an idea that horrified her came to mind.
"I didn't upset you, did I?"
"No…no…no it's not something you did…well it is…well its more what you said…but it's not bad, it's just…" Suletta rambled.
"Hey, stop." Miorine said gently as she placed her hands on the redhead's shoulders "What do you mean it's what I said, what did I say?"
Suletta turned her notebook around to show Miorine, on the screen was a still from a video of Miorine standing in front of Ariel "Is that from today?" the white-haired girl asked as she felt a lump in her throat, Suletta nodded before tapping a button and the video played "I love you Suletta, I love your smile, your kind heart, your clumsy and enduring nature, I love hair, I love everything about you, I love you Suletta Mercury, with all my heart and I wish I could tell you but I'm terrified you'll hate me for it."
Miorine's suddenly became as red and Suletta's hair as she tried to think how this all happened 'Is that a security feature, did Ariel do it?' Miorine pondered though before she could think further Suletta's voice spoke up.
"Di…did you mean it?" Suletta asked nerviously looking at Miorine with a look the white-haired girl couldn't quite work out what it meant.
Miorine's first instinct was to deny it, but then she thought she couldn't very well give the evidence and the Suletta's words during the first duel came to her mind "If you move forward, you gain two." Miorine took a deep breath to steal herself before she spoke "Yes, yes I did mean it, every word, I…mwah…"
Whatever Miorine was about to say drifted away as Suletta lunged forward and captured the whitehaired girl's lips with her own, Miorine eyes shot up wide as she realized the red was kissing her and she immediately felt her heart sore, explode and summersault all in one go.
"W..w…what?" Miorine stuttered confused.
"I…i…i…l…lo…ve…you too." Suletta stuttered again, with her face now as red as her hair "I…I…I w..as t…t…told that when you l…l…love someone and they love you back you are s…s…supposed to kiss them, if I did it wrong… mwah…"
Miorine didn't get give the girl a change to finish as this time she kissed Suletta, Miorine felt the redhead tense up slightly, especially when she placed a hand of the redheads cheek and then felt her melt into the kiss, as the pair kissed Miorine could feel a beast awaken deep in her stomach that began to fill the white-haired girl with a hunger she never thought she'd feel, eventually after a period of time that was too short for either of them the pair broke away for air.
"Wow." Suletta muttered.
"Yeah." Miorine said with a smile and stroking Suletta's cheek with her thumb and felt a small sense of pride as she felt Suletta quiver slightly to her touch "Could you say it again?" Miorine said leaning in closer so the tips of the pair's noses were lightly touching.
"What?" Suletta asked nervously.
"You know what I mean, I want to hear you say it again, properly." Miorine said in a slightly needy yet commanding voice.
"I love you." Suletta said quietly.
"Louder."
"I love you Miorine."
"I love you to Suletta." Miorine said before leaning forward and kissing Suletta again, as they kissed Miorine felt the hunger inside her increase and only Suletta seemed to sate the beast.
As the pair kept kissing the two fell side by side on the bed, after an unknown amount of time Miorine surprised them both by breaking the kiss and placing a kiss on Suletta's neck earning a small, surprised noise escape the redhead's lips and making Miorine pull back slightly.
"Sorry, was that too much?" Miorine asked breathless.
"N…no." Suletta said shyly.
Miorine let out a sigh before shifting so she was not hovering over Suletta "I have this, burning inside me."
"Burning?"
"Yes, it's like I have a fireside me that's igniting my whole body," Miorine groaned "It's been there for a while I guess but its really started after that kiss."
"Oh." Suletta said quietly
"Oh?"
"W…well it's just…I feel the same." Suletta said in a nervous whisper "I feel like I'm about to c…co…combust."
"Me too." Miorine said as she kept stroking Suletta's cheek "I know we've only just started whatever this is," Mirone said quietly "And if you don't want to then feel free to say so, but you've got my heart and my soul, do you want my body too?"
"I…I'm not sure I understand." Suletta said nervously.
'Gosh you're so innocent.' Miorine thought as she stopped stroking the redhead's cheek which got a slightly disappointed pout from Suletta at the loss of contact "I mean this." Miorine said taking Suletta's hand and placed in on her own chest.
"Y…you mean b…ba…baby making?" Suletta stuttered.
"That's one way to call it." Miorine smiled "Say if you don't…"
"I…I…d…d…do." Suletta paused a moment "I'm ok with this, I…if you are?"
"Hey, don't force yourself…"
"N…no, I'm fine r…r…really."
"Are you sure?" Miorine asked once again wanting to be absolute, Suletta nodded in response "Ok." Miorine said leaning down to kiss Suletta again.
(Next day)
"Ariel, can you open up?" Suletta asked as she stood before the suit, glancing behind her she could see Miorine holding herself and looking rather nervous and Ariel's hatch opened.
Miorine saw Suletta wave her hand as she entered Ariel and the white-haired girl waved her hand to, hoping the redhead saw it, before placing said hand over her heart.
"Worried about her?" Miorine heard a voice ask to her side.
"Nika?" Miorine said surprised "Is it that obvious?"
"Yes." The engineer said with a smile.
(Suletta)
"You ready Ariel?" Suletta got a flash from Arie's internal lights in response.
As the redhead made sure everything was ready to go, she could see Miorine and Nika talking with Miorine looked a flustered "Hey, were you hoping Miorine and me would become a couple when you sent me that video?"
Ariel merely flashed her internal light again "Well thanks," Suletta smiled keeping her eyes on Miorine as she talked 'I love Miorine.' Suletta said in her mind"Let's go out there and get back to her, ok?"
Ariel responded with a flash of her lights.
(Miorine)
"Don't worry, she'll be fine, you'll be in your lover's arms again soon."
"Thanks." Miorine sighed before the words Nika spoke at the end hit her "Wait what do you mean lovers arms again soon?"
"Well she is your fiancé and I know you were getting very close last night."
"What are you saying?" Miorine said her face flushed red.
"I'm saying next time you two should make sure the walls the room you two are in are thick enough next time, I was sleeping next door and Suletta's a rather loud screamer." Nika said with a grin.
So i'm guessing that later on we are going to be getting a three way battle between Miorine's father and Suletta's Mother, all the while going after Suletta and Miorine and friends at the same time.
