Merlin's P.O.V.:
Three centuries it's been three hundred years since I lost my son. It has been over a thousand years since Arthur died as well. I sat in a park in the town where I met my dear Mary and had our son Jack. I didn't notice when a few of the local kids started a snowball fight. "Crap I hit Cupcake. And you hit Hiccup the exchange student." One of the kids pointed out as another two joined the fight after being hit by none other than Jack Frost. He was upset when the kids walked through them after one of them lost a tooth talking about the tooth fairy coming to see the boy. The boy Jamie Bennett was a descendant of mine and his little sister Sophie. Jamie looked so much like Jack did at his age.
Jack flew off before I could try to talk to him. I guess I should have expected that. "Merlin! stop sulking you are late for our lunch date." Leon called to me as he came up to me. While I was telling historians that I was the best wizard ever Leon was slowly erasing himself from history. I that I think I keep seeing the ghost of my dead son.
"Merlin old boy you need rest we can reschedule our lunch. I got Hockey practice in an hour." Leon told me as we started walking home. Leon and I are house mates to most people we are Merlin Morgan and Leon Lackey, Friends since sixth grade. Leon is a sports coach and I'm a doctor. He was right though I could use some sleep. I have been on nights since the new year. When Leon got me home I practically passed out on the couch. I got up hours later to get ready for work only to see Jack frost get stuffed into a sack and tossed into a portal.
I heard him mention his dogs that he left them at home. I would have looked after the dogs if I knew where he lived. That's when Hiccup texted me saying he lost his key to the house. Right I forgot to mention that the foreign exchange student Hiccup Haddock the third was staying with Leon and I. That kid has less coronation than I did a thousand years ago and Leon reminds me of that often. I sent Hiccup a text that I'm at work he could come get the key from me at the hospital. I remember on his first day here Hiccup found an injured dragon and helped it they have been inseparable ever since. The black dragon he named Toothless was Hiccup's main mode of transportation I don't think the dragon minded. "Toothless, ceann dìreach dhachaigh agus deanaibh faire air." I told the dragon who told me it shouldn't be a problem. After I gave Hiccup the house key I watched the two take to the sky.
Allow me to translate what I told Toothless before we continue our story. I told him head straight home and watch over him. The day was slow until I was called into the Emergency room. There was an accident on the road coming into town. The man looked like Arthur either that or I zoned out again. "He swerved his car to avoid hitting some kid on a sled earlier no one noticed him till a few minutes ago." The Paramedic told me. I nodded before getting to work.
Jack's P.O.V.:
Crap I really done it this time because one moment I was having fun with kids in Burgess the next I'm cornered by the Easter Kangaroo and some Yetis. I then was shoved in a sack and tossed through a magic portal. I just want to get home to my dogs for those who want to know one is a husky and the other is an Elkhound one boy one girl. I only found them a few days ago so I haven't named them yet.
Anyway I got out of the sack to find myself facing the big four. Santa Claus, the Sandman, The Tooth Fairy and the Easter Kangaroo. Sorry bunny the Easter Bunny who is Australian so it's fun to call him a Kangaroo. Then Santa tries to tell me that I'm now part of their club and that the moon said so. I was upset about this I was alone for three hundred years and now the moon goes hey how is going so I want you to join this club. Santa or North lead me through the work shop and into his office. He trapped me in before showing me a nesting doll. I went I opened each layer of the doll and North explained how each layer matched a part of his personality.
"And at my center." He said as I spotted the wooden baby and stated as sutch. When he asked me to elaborate I pointed out the big eyes. Then he explained that wonder is what he puts into the world so he wanted to know what my center was. That was when The Kangaroo came saying that Tooth was having trouble. Santa then led us to his sleigh I told him one ride. When we got to Tooth's I was shocked to see the baby teeth fairies being taken away by black horses made of sand. I managed to save one though. I Called my dogs who ran to my side to help and they brought Snowy with them must have been the time when he visits and tells me about Emrys.
"Thanks for Coming Snowy and my good dogs thanks for coming when called." I said to the three who just arrived. Bunny looked cocky and the sight of my dogs but they weren't afraid of him. Tooth looked terrible and explained to me why she and the baby teeth collect well baby teeth of children. They contain memories I made my mind up then and there that I was going to help.
We then went to collect the teeth ourselves. That is when we got to Jamie Bennett's house Tooth told me she knew about the accident that led to the boy losing a tooth. The boy then woke up because of something North did which led to almost everyone in the room passing out so when I saw the black sand horse I took the sandman who was still awake at the time to chase after it.
That was a bad idea. I did find time to talk to Snowy who filled me in on the one she calls Emrys. I took off to be alone for a bit. I ended up at my Castle where my dogs were waiting for me. I played with them and I felt bad for Emrys who had live forever alone since his friends and family all died years ago all but one who keeps an eye on him. My mind told me that Emrys meant immortal well that sucks. I went back to the North Pole where we had to help Bunny with Easter.
