A few hours ago Kakuzu had left to get an early start to the Land of Fire. It always amazes Obito, how a man as old as Kakuzu, could keep up with continuous work, going to bed late and waking up early. Now, he was heading to a tea shop. He was going to meet Konan there before he left for Kiri. It was Konan's idea to have one more meeting to discuss things before he'd leave. Most likely, Obito would be gone for a few months, maybe a year depending on what happens before he'd come back to Ame.

The rain was falling heavily. A natural rain. Obito wore a cloak that draped around his shoulders, down to his ankles, including a hood that protected himself from the rain. He made his way to the tea shop on the outskirts of Ame. That way he could easily leave afterwards.

Once he entered the shop he saw Konan's blue hair stand out from the small amount of people in the shop. She gave him a small smile as he made his was to sit with her at a table.

"You're heading off to Kirigakure today right?" She asked, seeming a bit down.

"Yeah." Obito took a drink of the tea that Konan had already gotten, "Depending I might be gone for a few months to a year. What I'm trying to find is going to be difficult. It's heavily protected." He explained. Konan nodded her head. She knew that for some time now Obito was trying to figure out the history between the endless wars. Sure, she was curious too, but nowhere near as curious as Obito was.

"Yahiko seems a bit disappointed that your leaving so soon after meeting him." Konan chuckled softly. He seemed too depressed to hear that a man he just met was leaving.

Obito snorted, "That's the first time I've heard that." Konan laughed. It made her wonder what Obito's short childhood was like.

"Y'know I kinda like it here. Ever since I helped you, Yahiko, and Nagato to gain control over the village, it's been really nice. The people are kind and it's quite peaceful. Nothing like Konoha."

"Oh? What's Konoha like then?" Konan questioned, pouring some more tea.

"Loud. There is always a lot going on. No matter the time of day too. I remember once I was woke up at two in the morning because two guys were fighting over a damn pig."

"A pig?" Fighting over a pig. Odd.

"Yeah. It just shows that Konoha has gotten over the stage of conflict with other nations if there is fights like that."

"Konoha sounds nice too. Ame will always be my home though. Nothing will change that. She was about to speak again when she felt a powerful presence behind her.

"Obito."

Team Minato raced through the trees. They were so damn close to Ame. Minato could already feel the unnatural rain. He could've sworn that a little bit back he felt Obito's chakra.

Rin was unusually silent. Normally she'd say encouraging words to her team. Now, she couldn't bring herself to say anything. She wanted her friend home. Why. whywhywhy.

Kakashi had never been more determined. He led the group. They were nearing Ame. Each jump through the trees got the closer. Yet, it didn't seem like they were getting any closer.

When they finally reached the outskirts of the village, they split up. Rin and Kakashi were supposed to check the center of the village while Minato was meant to check the borders.
