Kakashi was confused. When he decided that Rin and himself should split up to search the town, he never thought that someone's chakra would be so hard to locate. He could've sworn that he felt Obito's chakra, but it seemed like it was covered by something far more powerful. He couldn't seem to locate it. It was frustrating.

Kakashi sighed as he checked yet another food market. Nothing. How many markets had he checked now? He slowly made his way to the next stop, biting his lip.

Rin looked around in the cafe. Why did it seem like Obito was so close? Where was he at? Why was the all so confusing! She exited the fifth shop, making her way to the sixth.

Obito froze when he heard his name. Due to the speed of the siege of the six paths power, he quickly went right behind Minato. Right after he sent them both to a rural area.

"... I told you not to come. Tell me why are you here?" He asked in a cold voice, the only thing do to keep his emotions at bay.

"Obito... I want to know why you didn't come home. I want to know why you aren't..." Minato couldn't finish his sentence.

"Dead?" Obito huffed, "It's a private matter. Me leaving to Ame was on my own accord. I have my own matters to attend to. I know things that you could never known about. It's my job. Go back Minato. You can't be here, you have a village to run. You better take Rin and Kakashi with you. I've already told you that I'm not coming back."

"What about you wanting to become the Hokage, Obito?" Minato asked. He was desperate for anything to bring him back.

"It was a foolish dream. I've seen the true way of this world. I know what I must do. I know that you or anybody besides one person that cannot help me. Now, leave."

Minato turned his head slightly to look at Obito when he was thrown into a powerful genjutsu.

Obito sighed as he watched Minato slump down to the ground. He felt bad, it had to be done. As he sucked Minato into the kamui dimension, he got an idea.
