I apologize for not updating. I'm sick and feel horrendous.
Minato didn't know where he was. One second he was in a forest with his old student,now he was standing in a white abyss.
"You want to know what happened to me, Minato sensei?"
"Wha- Who are you?" Minato demanded to know.
"Tsk. Only a mask and you are unable to figure out who your own student is." The voice said tauntingly. Minato now got a look at the person. They were in a black cloak with red clouds and an orange spiraled mask. He watched as the mask was slowly pulled off of the man's face. Revealing none other than his student.
"Obito! What's going on?" The fourth Hokage pleaded to know.
"If you want to know so badly then I shall show you." Obito said in a calm voice before fading away. He blinked a few times. Just what was happening? Was this some sort of genjutsu?
Before he could ask himself yet another question the white area faded into a cave. Minato looked around. There he saw his student with... Madara Uchiha? Just what was this?
He saw Obito sitting in bed, covered in bandages. Next to him was a very old looking Madara Uchiha. This had to be some sort of genjutsu Obito placed onto him, yet it was so strong. He was unable to release it.
"Wake up to reality." He heard Madara said. Minato fixated his attention onto the Ghost of the Uchiha.
"Nothing ever goes as planned in this accursed world. The longer you live the more you will realize that the only things that truly exist in this reality are merely pain, suffering, and futility. Listen, everywhere you look in this world, wherever there is light there will always be shadows to be found as well. As long as there is a concept of victors, the vanquished will also exist. The selfish intent of wanting to preserve peace initiates wars, and hatred is born in order to protect love. There are nexuses, causal relationships, that cannot be separated."
He didn't know what to think about that speech he just heard. It was true, but that was only of you looked at the dark side of things only.
Suddenly the area changed again. He was still in the cave, yet now Obito had no bandages on and his upper right half was completely white. Suddenly a white figure appeared through the cave wall saying something about Rin and Kakashi being in danger.
He watched as his student used his right arm to punch what looked like a cave entrance. Minato flinched as he saw the white arm come off leaving a pile of goo where it once was. He then watched at the thing that cave out of the wall covered Obito, giving the actual strength to punch down the wall. Only then did he realize that he got the power to do so from a very strange looking statue.
Before he could think of of any further his surroundings changed again. He saw Obito running through a forest with that thing wrapped around him. As his student stopped running, the sight he saw almost made him vomit.
Kakashi killed Rin.
He saw his youngest students arm go right through Rin's chest. Why... why was he being shown this?
A scream drew him out of his thoughts as he saw Obito charging toward the remaining most ninja, that had failed to notice, as Kakashi passed out.
His student now possessed terrifying strength. He had unlocked his mangekyo sharigan too. Minato felt ill as he watched the mist ninja being mutilated by... mokuton?
The scene changed again. Now he saw Obito embracing Rin's dead body. Suddenly he stood up and gave the passes out Kakashi a terrifying glare before walking away.
The area changed back into the cave. His heart stopped momentarily as he witnessed Obito saying that he would continue on Madara's will. Right after, Madara disconnected himself from that creepy statue and died.
Next he saw Obito slaughter a group of people effortlessly, muttering to himself that Nagato should know true pain.
The area changed once again, Obito was now in the Hidden Leaf. Minato watched with wide eyes as the Kyubi was summoned by his student, and controlled with only a base sharigan. Obito had then took his child and threatened to kill it. After Obito was defeated by Minato, the Kyubi was released, causing the death of himself and... Kushina.
He felt his eyes tearing up. Why was he getting emotional? This was just a genjutsu. It wasn't real. None of this had happened.
The next scene warped into the Uchiha compound where he saw Obito with a kid he knew as Itachi. He did not expect the both of them to slaughter their entire clan. Yes, this was a genjutsu, but why was it so damn hard to process all these false things?
The next things he saw happened in a blur.
Obito went under the name of Madara Uchiha
Obito manipulated a man named Nagato and started his own organization to capture tailed beasts.
The organization collapsed due to many members deaths and the betrayal of Nagato and a woman named Konan.
Obito killed Konan and stole Nagato's eye.
He then declared the Fourth Great Ninja War during the five Kage summit.
Obito was then on the battlefield using that terrifying statue to slaughter hundreds.
Next he was standing next to Madara Uchiha, without a mask.
The two then summoned the Jubi.
Obito became the Jubi's jinjuriki.
He was pulled to the bright side by Naruto.
Madara became the Jubi's next jinjuriki and casted a very powerful genjutsu over the world.
A black figure possessing Obito then stabbed Madara in the back.
Madara transformed into a very powerful woman.
Obito then died, turning into a pile of ash, saving Naruto from that god like woman.
Obito awoke in that cave again, wondering why he was alive.
He then saved Rin and and Kakashi and left them by the village.
The area faded back into the white abyss. Obito appeared back in front of Minato.
"There, now you know everything you need to, will you stop chasing me now?" He questioned.
"... What was that?" Minato asked, "What did you show me? None of that until the very end was real!"
"It was. I was sent back in time for some unknown reason. I am now fixing my mistakes. Please do not misunderstand that I have to do this alone. You don't know what I am going to accomplish. Goodbye Minato Sensei."
Minato awoke outside of Konoha.
