Percy

For the record, I do NOT like being knocked out twice in one day. At least this time I woke up beside Annabeth. I could smell the citrus shampoo in her hair. It was the smell that always comforts me. I looked at her to see her still unconscious. Her peaceful look gave me the hope that I needed to escape this place.

I checked my pockets to see if I had Riptide, and fortunately it was still in my pocket. I kept digging in my pocket until I found a drachma. Great, just what I need. I looked to see a bunch of cameras looking into our glass prison.

"I hope this works." I mumbled as I tried a trick Hazel taught me. I manipulated the mist to cover the cameras. I didn't have much time before Mr. Eye Patch and his gang came in. I felt the very familiar tug in my gut as I created some mist to make a rainbow.

"O' Fleecy, do me a solid. Show me Nico Di Angelo, Camp Halfblood." I whispered, hoping that the listening devices didn't pick up my voice. Then where the rainbow stood was a projection of Nico.

"Percy, why are you calling?" Nico asked from his cabin.

"I don't have a lot of time. Annie and I were kidnapped by an organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Grab Atti and Jason for a Code Green. We're in a glass container suspended in the air. Tell my mom that I'll be back eventually." I explained. Nico nodded with a serious look in his eyes. I gave him a sad smile before hearing some nearby footsteps. I quickly slashed through the IM as Tin Man opened the door to our cell.

"What the hell did you do?" Eyepatch asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked trying to sound confused. I know I'm a terrible liar, but Annabeth wrapped her hands around my waist from behind.

"I was wondering the same thing. We've just starting moving again after you oh so graciously knocked us out again." She said to cover my terrible lying ability. I sent her a smile that said everything I wanted to say. Annabeth's nod went unoticed by everyone. I laughed internally. These people were supposed to be spies, but yet they didn't see Annie's nod.

"Why did the camera shut off?" Tin Man asked.

"Umm, technical difficulties?" I questioned. Annabeth looked up at me with an eyebrow raised.

"Did I just hear you say 'technical difficulties with your dyslexic self?" Annabeth asked. I could see the pride in her eyes. She had been helping slowly expand my vocabulary since the Giant War. Turns out, I have a lot more work to do than I originally thought.

"It couldn't have been a technical difficulty. I just checked all of these cameras yesterday." Tin Man said, totally ignoring Annabeth pointing out my dyslexia.

"Are you sure? I think it may have been because I noticed the listening devices are connected to the cameras. If you couldn't hear anything then you must have some sort of problem with your technology." Annabeth countered. T looked at her with a look of surprise.

"How did you know that the listening devices are connected to the cameras? The only way you could have known is if you looked inside the walls to see the wires that are fused together." Tin Man asked.

If look carefully, then you can see the wires coming together towards the hole in the wall." Annabeth replied. Everyone stared at her with a confused look in her eye.

"How can you see that far? I can barely even point that out from here, and I'm called Hawkeye." Bow Bow Siwa questioned. Annabeth and I shrugged.

"It's pretty obvious when you look closer. I have a knack for pointing random things out." Annabeth responded. Doc looked at the two of us with a calm look in his eye. To be honest, he looked like Paul.

"Do you have ADHD?" Doc asked us. We both nodded. Doc nodded and looked back at Director Eyepatch.

"Anyways, now that the two of you are awake, I have some questions." Eyepatch said in a stern tone. I groaned when he mentioned questions.

"Great, interrogation again." I said, annoyed. Eyepatch ignored this and continued on.

"First off Jackson, where do you live?" Pirate man asked.

"With my mom." I simply said. Annabeth caught the look in my eye and mouthed 'Persassy all the way'.

"Where does your mom live?" Eyepatch questioned, slightly annoyed with my first answer.

"With me." I replied. I could see the anger rise in his eyes.

"Where do you both live?" Flaming Justice asked.

"Together." I responded. Eyepatch's frown was getting deeper with each of my answers. Annabeth's grin was getting wider by the second.

"Where is your house?" Spangles questioned.

"Next to my neighbor's house." I answered.

"Where is your neighbor's house?" Tiny asked.

"If I tell you, you won't believe me." I told them all.

"Tell me." Eyepatch growled. Annabeth was holding in a laugh, but I knew she couldn't hold it for long.

"Next to my house." I finished with a grin. Annabeth couldn't hold it in any longer and fell out laughing. Eyepatch's eyes now resembled his name. They were filled with fury. Spangles stepped closer.

"For your and your friend's sake, I would recommend cooperating." Spangles said calmly. Annabeth recollected herself enough to respond as I continued grinning.

"We are. We answered your questions, just not with the answers y'all wanted. And to think you called yourself a super spy." Annabeth commented before her and I fell out laughing. Flaming Justice growled before they all walked out and slammed the door on us. We stopped laughing and looked at each other.

"I can't believe they fell for the oldest Persassy trick in the book." Annabeth said. I agreed. I knew help was on the way, so buying time was the best I could do for our friends.

It wasn't long before a loud siren rang. I looked to Annabeth with a mischievious smirk on my face.

"Atti and the gang are here." I said in Latin.
