Today U.A was as chaotic as ever, reporters were filling the entrance of the school waiting to get the first glimpse of this unbelievable attack that the villains tried to commit on U.A ground. Heroes and first responders were outside U.S.J attending to the injured and interviewing the students who were unhurt.

This was annoying to Bakugou, who was sitting on the edge of the ambulance getting some minor injuries treated. After interfering with Thirteen against the villain with the body made of smoke, he and Kirishima were transported to the building collapse zone.

And they faced some villains that Bakugou thought were nothing but weaklings. (Even though one of them caught him off guard for a minute) Nonetheless, they fought their way through, however, they never had the chance to arrive at the center area where All Might and that creature were fighting. Bakugou and Kirishima were found by some pro heroes, who had finally arrived and escorted them to where their classmates were getting treated by first responders. Bakugou frowned at remembering hearing the chaos from their distance.

"I just want to go home and sleep. This day has been nothing but shitty." Thought Bakugou.

This wasn't going to happen any time soon with the police officers planning to interview them one by one. Along with the damn press being outside the school who won't be moving for a while.

"Are we done?!" Shouted Bakugou towards one of the first responders, a blonde-haired woman with some medical quirk. She had been caught by surprise from the shouts of Bakugou that she jumped a little but composes herself and finished wrapping Bakugou's arm and replied in a professional voice.

"Done, but be careful to not push yourself."

"Whatever," was all Bakugou said to the women.

As he got up and headed towards where his classmates were. The noises of an ambulance siren remind Bakugou of witnessing his two teachers being urgently rushed to the nearest hospital with severe injuries.

Bakugou's face became stiff at remembering the way that his homeroom teacher Aizawa looked as if he was dead when he was being loaded into the ambulance and his teacher Present Mic was next to him holding his hand and on the verge of crying.

Shaking his thoughts, Bakugou was standing with his uninjured classmates as they waited to be interviewed. Some of his classmates were shaken by the incident while others appeared to be more composed. Not that he blames them, they are barely first years and were put in a life and death situation against villains without any proper experience.

"Hey, bakugou!"

Turning towards the direction where the voice came from, he saw Kirishima standing near Kaminari, Mina, and Sero. None appeared to be seriously hurt by the villain attack.

Thinking whether to stay where he was or join them, ultimately deciding the last option.

"Glad you could join us Bakugou?" Said Kirishima.

"Tch. They were taking forever, I barely hurt myself."

"At least you guys are okay? When you were teleported we all started to panic for you guys?" Interjected Sero.

Kaminari and Mina nodded their heads in agreement.

"Yeah sorry about that guys…" said Kirishima who was rubbing his neck in an awkward manner.

"It's fine Kirishima! Though I can't say that for the scolding you are about to get by the teachers." Replies Mina with a small smile to help lighten the mood.

Kirishima started to sweat, remembering that. Bakugou had his usual angry expression but was stiffer.

"I'm pretty sure you guys are just going to get a lecture and a warning. And that's it." Kaminari offers his words of comfort.

Kirishima nodded his head and decided to change the topic.

Now they were talking about how their classmates are doing.

"Sero and Kaminari were teleported to different zones along with half our classmates. I and the rest of our classmates weren't teleported, so we had to face that villain…." Said Mina with a stiff smile on her face. The boys could tell that things didn't end well from Thirteen conditions.

Kaminari places his hand on Mina's shoulder to offer some form of comfort. She gave a small smile as appreciation for the gesture.

The others gave her similar expressions while Bakugou remained in place with a blank expression. No one thought it was odd given the deadly situation they were in.

As a few awkward minutes passed by, some of their teachers started to guide them to a part of the school where they were going to get interviewed about the incident. As Bakugou was walking with the rest of his classmates, he couldn't help but have a feeling that this was only the beginning.

Lifting his head to the beautiful weather in the sky that contrasts with the things happening on land, Bakugou's expression turns into one of worry as he heads to the entrance of the school building.

"You heard about the news!" Whispered a female student to her friend next to her.

"What news?"

"There was a villain attack right here in our school!"

"Are you serious!?"

"Yeah, supposedly it was at U.S.J where it happened!" Interjected a male student into the conversation of the girls.

"No way!" Said the girls.

He nodded his head to confirm the shock news, and he continued to hand them more shocking information.

"And get this, some class was involved in the incident!" As the conversation continued, more students were getting involved in the unbelievable event.

Shinsou was seated in the back of the classroom pretending to look at the book in front of him. However, he was listening to the conversation that his classmates were having in the front of the classroom. They heard the announcement that the school was on lockdown until further notice. Didn't even bother to give a simple explanation as to why. Which led to a bunch of students doing their own research on the reason behind the lockdown.

He would be lying if he said that the news about a villain attack here in U.A didn't surprise him as well. A place that was supposed to be so safe given the fact that a bunch of pro heroes are teachers here.

Shinsou could already imagine how the school's reputation was going to be affected. This was basically a slap on the face.

Even though Shinsou felt bad for the students who were affected, a part of him couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. The class that was involved was probably hero students. If these students were preparing to be heroes then they should be able to face the reality of the line of work they chose.

A frown appeared on Shinsou's face when those thoughts were in his mind.

"I'm thinking like a villain" was the thought of Shinsou, who felt displeasure at this realization. Furthering his frown on his face, Shinsou quickly rid those thoughts that would have given those who look down on him nothing but pleasure at being right.

He was not going to be that person they say he was…

He was going to prove them wrong - He was going to become a hero.

"Hitoshi p-promise me that n-no matter what, you keep f-fighting.."

"Izu I don't like the way you're speaking w-what's going on?!"

"I'm really sorry Hitoshi…. I try it's just too much pain… god I'm being such a selfish person right now but I need to hear your voice one more time..."

"Izu I'm on my way! Please don't hang up! I swear we can talk this out! Remember whatever it is I'm here for you!"

"Hitoshi it just too much… the world is always against me…. I just want the pain to end."

"I know! I feel the same way that's why we have to keep fighting against all those things that this fuck up world throws at us! We have to prove them wrong! All those bastards who think of us as nothing but menaces to society!"

"…Don't let this hatred consume you Hitoshi. Become a hero that protects those who do not have a voice like us."

"IZU PLEASE!"

"Take care…"

His thoughts were interrupted when his classmates were making noise as they moved towards the windows of the classroom. Shinsou thankfully didn't have to move since his seat was near the window in the back of the room. Wondering why the ruckus was for until he heard one of his classmates say something about the class being involved. They were on the third floor of the building so Shinsou could get a decent view of the class that had been attacked by villains.

He saw as they were entering the south entrance of the building, where the school could decrease the chance of the media seeing them. Shinsou pitied their naive hopes, those news media won't stop hounding them until they get the top story for today's news.

Shinsou felt sorry for the school, the media could be a bitch sometimes. The times they use incidents involving people like him who weren't villains or the quirkless to make their ratings go up always piss Shinsou off.

His classmates were talking about the hero students with interest, about how amazing it was that they were first years and they managed to come out alive without a lot of injuries. Shinsou internally roll his eyes at the expressions they were making, it reminded him of how pro heroes fans are easily swayed by the image their favorite pro hero put up.

As the last students were entering the building, Shinsou was startled by one of the students.

"It couldn't be him… there are hundreds of students here."

What is the possibility that Shinsou would encounter him in school with so many others?

Bakugou was seated outside a door of conference room where the interviews were happening with the police. He was getting so close to letting all his anger out from all the shit that had happened today but he knew better. The faster he gets this done the sooner he gets to go home, even though Bakugou was also dreading that as well.

Resting his head against the wall behind, Bakugou was glaring at the door in front of him. Finally, the door clicked open and a police officer was guiding one of his classmates out.

"Thank you for your time. The whole incident must have been traumatic for you guys, so go get some rest." Spoke to the police officer who had a cat head.

"Thank you, sir." Said his classmate, if Bakugou was right his name was tokoyami or something. Bakugou thought to himself that he really got to work on remembering people's names. Though he felt that he shouldn't bother since they were nothing but obstacles for him to beat to become number one.

As Tokoyami walked past him without a glance, not that it bothered Bakugou as he got up from his seat. The police officer was holding the door for him as he entered the room, the space was pretty big considering that it was their smallest conference room. A big oval table was in front of them, where on the other side was a detective. He was tall with short, black hair and somewhat rectangular black eye, he had a tan overcoat and matching hat.

Bakugou saw that the detective offer him a smile, he didn't return the gesture and went to sit in the chair in front of him in a rebellious teen posture.

"Hello, my name is Detective Naomasa. I know that today was a scary experience for you, first years, so I will try to finish this up as fast as possible. " said Detective Naomasa, who gave a sympathetic smile. Bakugou hated that look but he knew he couldn't say anything, so he just click his tongue in displeasure.

"Whatever, let's just get this over with." Snapped Bakugou to the officers.

Naomasa didn't scold him for his attitude, just gave him another smile and started the interview.

The end of the school day would bring some happiness to most high schoolers since they get to go home and enjoy the afternoon.

From doing homework to hanging out with friends to just being home.

Shinsou was the opposite.

He hated going home…

He look out the window where he was sitting on the train, as it sped through the city, showing the beauty of the place. There weren't that many people on the train, there were office workers coming from work, some elderly, women on their phones, other high schoolers from another school, and a mother with a sleeping child. It was calm something that Shinsou was grateful for.

"I hope he's not home." Thought Shinsou, as the train made a stop. Shinsou wait till he was one of the last ones to exit, already knowing where he needed to go.

Walking down the street for a while given that the train didn't make stops in his district which was located close to the outskirts of the city. One would have noticed the empty park that left an ominous mood that would bring chills to anyone however Shinsou felt nothing, only taking it as a sign that he was getting close to his home. He saw the public bathroom that he was looking for and entered it, he couldn't help but let out a scoff at the dirty conditions it was in. Graffiti on the walls, spiderwebs up on the walls, and dirt stains on the sink and toilets.

Shinsou entered one of the stalls and was digging through his backpack for the extra clothes he brought. Pulling out some jeans that were ripped in some parts, and a dark purple hoodie. After a few minutes, Shinsou got out of the stall and headed to one of the mirrors by the sink.

He saw his reflection and let out a tired sigh.

"Well, welcome to the Fuyō prefecture," Shinsou said out loud to himself as he lifted his hoodie up to cover his face. He exited the public bathroom and started to walk across the park to the other side. Just as he did, Shinsou finally entered the district he lives in.

Compared to the tall buildings and decent quiet neighborhoods, some of the buildings in Fuyō prefecture were old along with rundown and just reek of poverty. Which were often used by criminals to conduct their deals. While the other buildings may not be like the nice neighborhoods in Tokyo, it was at least liveable. Ironically it seems like more money is put into nightclubs and hidden brothels in his prefecture instead of helping the people. The sidewalks weren't nice and clean, instead, they were old and cracked from weathering. It's no wonder the other name for his prefecture was "the slums".

There were different types of stores along the street that Shinsou was walking, as well as people. Some were walking, loitering, or pass out drunk or high in different places, Shinsou was evading them since he didn't feel like starting a fight. He just wanted to go straight to his house and lock himself in his room.

Shinsou was passing a store when a person came crashing through and landed on the ground. The guy was moaning in pain and before he could get up, another man was on top of him as he went to punch the living shit out of the man on the ground.

Some people near the area went on with their daily lives as they ignored the fight between the men. While others were cheering on the fight, Shinsou assumed they were probably the guy buddies.

Shinsou did so as well, he walked for a little bit, witnessing druggies and alcoholics on the streets, gang members loitering in certain buildings, the brothels filled with working girls and boys. Thirteen-year-old Shinsou would have been scary to death at such things, however, sixteen-year-old Shinsou was different.

Finally arriving at an apartment building that had graffiti by the entrance, Shinsou headed inside. He could see some adults along with some kids around his age hanging out in the halls either dealing drugs or establishing their territory. Shinsou avoided making eye contact with them since he knew that they were associated with gangs.

Passing by them, he let out a sigh of relief that they didn't cause him problems. Going up the stairs, Shinsou heard the stairs making creaking noises as if taunting him. Clicking his tongue in displeasure at the thought, Shinsou didn't notice that he had arrived in front of his door.

He felt that the door was towing him making him feel little. Shinsou's throat became dry and his hands were starting to sweat as he headed inside.

"don't let him be home.…" thought Shinsou.

Opening the door, Shinsou quietly headed to his room however he heard noises in that person's room. Not bothering, he rolled his eyes and headed in the opposite direction.

"Oi Hitoshi not going to say hello to your old man?" Say the man in a slurring manner. Shinsou, knowing better, turned around and was face to face with a man that could be considered a carbon copy of him. However, he was much taller and his body appeared weaker showing the years had caught up to him, and unlike Shinsou's fluffy curly hair he had short hair.

"He's drunk," thought Shinsou, as he was observing the man's behavior.

"Oi, I'm talking to you!" Shouted the man, his hand was raised up in the air as if he was about to strike Shinsou.

"Sorry, I thought you were occupied, uncle." Injected Shinsou in a monotone voice before his uncle could strike him. Shinsou's uncle lowered his arm and let out a scornful expression as he looked at his nephew in a pathetic manner.

"Oh, Hinato! Are you going to keep me waiting!? We were just getting to the good part!" A woman's voice shouted from his uncle's room. Shinsou wasn't an idiot for what his uncle and the women were doing, he saw the discarded clothes by the man's door. A look of disgust was on his face, finding his uncle's behavior shameful.

"He knows he is not the only one who lives in this house." Thought Shinsou.

"In a minute, I'm just going to bring the good stuff!" Said Shinsou's uncle to the women.

"Whatever brat! You're lucky I'm in a good mood, just scram to your room! I got a guest to entertain!" Said Shinsou's uncle who had a lustful and drunk expression on his face.

Hinato went past him without a care in the world and headed to the refrigerator to take out some beers, for him and his guest.

Shinsou didn't bother to answer his uncle and headed to his room.

His room was plain and simple, with only a mattress on the ground, his clothes were in trash bags, and the only furniture was a small table that had a picture. Locking his door, Shinsou remove his backpack and threw it to the ground.

"That fucking bastard!" Muttered Shinsou, as he ran his hand through his purple fluffy hair.

"Well, at least he wasn't in a bad mood." Sighed Shinsou, who felt chills down his body at remembering those times. The phantom pain from the punches and kicks, the insults, and the muzzle.

God, he hated the muzzle, as if he was nothing but an animal who couldn't behave.

"Uncle, I did it by mistake! I was scared! I'm sorry!" A young Shinsou cried out, tears streaming down his face. He was being dragged by his hair out of his room towards the kitchen.

"I don't give a shit! You dare use your quirk against your own uncle!" Shouted Hinato.

Shinsou could smell the alcohol around his uncle, his small body was shaking in fear at knowing how bad it was going to get.

Suddenly Shinsou's body was thrown to the ground, a loud thud was heard as Shinsou made a hard impact on the ground.

Looking up from the ground, he saw his uncle was grabbing something. He already knew what it was and went to plead for forgiveness.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Please!" However his cries went unheard as Shinsou's uncle went to slap him, Shinsou felt the stinging pain on the side of his face, making him stop pleading and the only thing remaining was the tears falling down his face.

Shinsou felt that the man who was supposed to be family was nothing but a monster was putting the muzzle on his face.

Hinato not caring for his nephew tighten the thing around Shinsou's face.

Shinsou could say nothing, with that thing around his mouth along with the fear that it would make the situation worse. His innocence was disappearing from his eyes and those thoughts were filling his head.

The question was being repeated over and over.

Should he do it?

Shinsou realized that he was remembering those times and quickly regained his sense of reason.

"Enough, nothing good comes from remembering those times" muttered Shinsou, his tired purple eyes appear more tired than ever. He headed to his bed and landed with a loud thud.

Shinsou turned his head towards the only window in his room and was listening to the bustling noises of the people of his neighborhood.

Letting out a tired sigh, Shinsou muttered a sentence before exhaustion took over.

"Do you ever wonder what went wrong, Izu?"

Bakugou didn't even realize that he had arrived at his house, he felt like a mindless zombie. Not putting any thought into it, he entered the house quietly, which was out of character for Bakugou.

"No one's home as usual." Said Bakugou out loud to himself. The house was quiet as ever, which isn't odd especially after that event. Quietness was better than when everyone was home.

After the shitty day that Bakugou had, all he wanted was his bed. Going up the stairs, he headed towards his room. Opening the door, he decides to close and lock the door given that he always prefers his privacy.

His room was like any other teenager, two posters of All Might, a bed, a stand-up mirror near his window that had black curtains, and lastly a bathroom that connects to his room.

Bakugou dropped his bag next to the door and went towards his bed. He landed on his bed and was about to let his exhaustion take over his body.

"Pathetic."

"Useless."

Bakugou let out an annoyed groan as those voices were back.

"Why did you get involved? You only made it worse." said one of those shadows in a mocking tone, it was above him, their empty white eyes were staring straight at him.

"Shut up," muttered Bakugou.

"He probably thought he could handle it," said another one of those shadows, this time the voice was timid which Bakugou hated the most. Bakugou knew it was his mind playing him, but he was mentally and physically tired to put any thought to it.

"Handle what? The only thing he did was prove more of the failure he is." It was talking in the same tone as the shadow above him had.

"Probably thought he was being heroic." said the shadow above him as it disappear. They were laughing, Bakugou hated it when they do that.

"Shut up," said Bakugou, he started to repeat in his mind that he was fine and that he was letting his imagination get the best of him.

He was fine, his life was fine, everything was fine.

He was strong and can handle himself. That was why he attack that villain, even though he was teleported to a different zone, he fought well against those low-ranking villains. So, why does it matter that the others had teleport as well, it wasn't his fault. They're training to be heroes so, it better to be prepared and besides the villain was already planning to do that.

He needs to become the strongest, the one who is invincible like All Might. Someone who does not need to depend on anyone. That was what Bakugou wanted to think, however, he knew that wasn't the case.

The image of three children playing in a living room with different types of toys, live figurines from pro heroes, miniature foams swords, capes from different heroes. Which were things that any child deserves.

Five adults were watching from the kitchen table as they chatted about adult things, bright smiles and boisterous waves of laughter were heard throughout the home.

Everyone was happy.

The blonde hair child had a bright smile like his other two friends, as they ran toward the adults.

"Papa!" shouted the blonde hair child. One of the adults with brown spiky hair and glasses, who was talking to a man with short messy purple hair and tired eyes, turn to the blonde hair child.

"Yes, big guy." said the man with a smile.

" Hito, Izu, and I want to play heroes but none of us want to be villains. So, can you play the villain papa?!" said the boy, his two other friends were next to him.

"Hmm, I don't know big guy. Why don't you ask your mother?" said the man, his expression appearing as he was thinking about it.

"Please, papa! It has to be you, Mama can get very scary when she plays the villain." said the blonde-haired boy. Masaru wife, Mitsuki let out a scoffed at her son comment. The others let out small chuckles at the boy's comment.

"You heard him Masaru, might as well play the part." said the man with short messy purple hair, his tired voice holding some amusement to the boy's demand.

" Touma, you know very well I'm bad at acting," said Masaru.

"It's child play, Masaru." spoke a woman with a light purple messy bun, she was seated next to Touma.

"Well yes, but you do know how the kids can get when playing heroes, Airi," said Masaru, who sweatdrop at remembering the other times.

"You could ask Touma to join in." said a woman with long dark green hair.

Touma was caught off guard by the sudden comment of the woman and gave her an expression of betrayal. The woman returns the gesture with a smile.

"Good idea, Inko! Touma, won't you play with the kids!" shouted Mitsuki, with a smirk.

"Absolutely -" Touma was about to reject the idea since he does not have enough energy to keep up with the kids however he was interrupted.

"Alrighty Touma is going to be the main villain and I'll be his sidekick!" said Masaru, who was out of his seat.

Touma's tired eyes were wide open by the sudden outburst of Masaru. He turns to his wife, who pats him on his back to offer him some comfort. The kids were excited that the two adults decide to agree.

Masaru grabs Touma's wrist to guide him out of the chair. For a few seconds, Touma had a confused expression about what was happening until he surrender to his fate.

For a while, the two adults were playing with the three children who wore hero capes as they pretend to save the day. The three women were watching with smiles and laughter as they witness the dramatic performance of the adults.

The blonde hair child was experiencing his childhood as any child should. He was happy and not lonely.

Everyone was happy, Everything was perfect…. Until it wasn't.

As Bakugou open his eyes, he saw the ceiling of his room which made him realize that he had fallen asleep without realizing it. Bakugou didn't move for a couple of seconds as he slowly became tuned to reality. That the memory was nothing but a burnt bridge that can't be crossed.

Letting out a tired sigh, Bakugou got out of his bed and headed to the widow. He wanted to know how long he had ended up sleeping. Moving his curtains to see light, he saw that the sun was already settling.

"I guess I was really tired." Closing the curtains, Bakugou headed towards the door to head to the kitchen. Bakugou turned the lights on in his room as he headed through the hallway. Getting to the bottom of the stairs Bakugou realized that he wasn't home by himself anymore.

The house smelled like someone was cooking food, which he assumed was his mother.

"When did you get home?"

"Like an hour ago, you brat. " reply Mitsuki as she exited the kitchen. Bakugou noticed that she wasn't yelling as she usually does when she found something out of convenience. Her face was stoic as she was staring at him.

"Well, I was planning to cook something for myself but whatever." said Bakugou, who felt awkward because of his mother's behavior.

"Then be grateful, I made dinner for you," said Mitsuki as she gestured for him to sit down at the dinner table. Bakugou wanted to object that he would eat later but he decided against it due to his mother's unusual behavior. Sitting down on one of the chairs on the side of the table, he saw his mother head back to the kitchen and emerge a couple of seconds later.

In her hand was a plate of food that she had cooked. As she placed it on the table for him, Bakugou realized that it was curry, one of his favorite foods to eat.

Bakugou was surprised that he stared at the plate for a few seconds until he heard one of the chairs move. Looking up he saw his mother with a stoic expression, sitting in front of him with her plate.

"Well, eat or the food is going to get cold." Said Mitsuki.

Bakugou, not questioning, started to eat, putting a spoonful of curry in his mouth when he realized it was spicy. Since he enjoys spicy food the most, Bakugou had a small smirk from the food.

Dinnertime was quiet like it has always been over the years, Bakugou was finishing the last of his food when Mitsuki decided to speak.

"I heard about the villain attack at U.A."

Bakugou stopped mid-way from eating when he heard his mother comment. It was dumb of him to assume she wouldn't know, the school would have to inform her about it or see it by the media who had probably spread the attack through the internet, TV, and newspaper. He saw that his mother had the same stoic expression as she waited for a response.

"Yeah, it happened in the U.S.J building. The heroes were able to intervene and none of the students got hurt, except two of the teachers. Right now they're in the hospital recovering. " Bakugou decided to keep the information minimal as long as it eases his mother's worries.

"I see, at least you and your classmates are safe now." Said Mitsuki.

"Yeah," replied Bakugou, a small part of him felt a warmth at knowing his mother was showing a different form of attention towards him even if it felt like she was speaking to him with a cold tone. It was better than the aggression she usually displays, that made him feel like he was worthless. He bit his bottom lip in slight displeasure at feeling such emotion, he had no need to feel such emotions. He remembers nothing good came from it. Bakugou was slowly losing his appetite from the thought and was going to excuse himself.

"How are you doing?"

"What.." Said Bakugou as he was caught by surprise by the question.

"I said, how are you doing? You went through a life and death situation while at school, I can assume it took a toll on you." Stated Mitsuki, her eyes remaining on the food in front of her.

Bakugou frowned at the situation, her behavior was already out of character, but this was completely different.

Is this why she didn't yell at him? Is she worried for him?

He felt a wave of anger inside, the thought that it took a life and death situation for his mother to show him this kind of attention. He bit his bottom lip much harder, that he could have drawn blood.

"I'm fine, old hag. I can handle myself." Muttered Bakugou.

There was quietness for a few seconds that Bakugou thought the conversation was over.

"I know you can handle yourself. However, that doesn't mean you have to hold in your emotions."

"Like you're any better, old hag."

"Katsuki!" Shouted Mitsuki, coming back to her usual personality. Bakugou hated that he had flinched at his mother's sudden outburst.

"What?! I told the truth!" Shouted Bakugou, not backing down.

"This isn't about me! You almost died at school!"

"Why are you being like this?!"

"What the fuck do you mean?!" Mitsuki's habit of cursing was showing up.

"This!" Yelled Bakugou as he motioned his hand towards his mother and continued.

"Fucking asking me about how I'm doing? You never fucking do that?!"

"I'm your mother! Of course, I'm fucking worrying about your shitty mental health!"

"What shitty mental health! I'm not a fucking child!"

"Then stop acting like a fucking child! God, when did my son start complaining over every small thing like a little bitch!"

"I wonder when you start acting like a mother rather than a cold-hearted bitch?!" Yelled Bakugou as he got out of his chair and quickly walked towards his room.

"Katsuki! I'm not fucking done speaking!" Shouted Mitsuki, she was standing up but sat back down as she heard her son had already slammed his door shut.

She places her elbows on the table and her head on her hands. A tired sigh was heard as she register the fight that she had with her child once again.

She didn't mean to raise her voice. Her anger got the best of her.

All she wanted was to make him his favorite food and tell him that she was relieved that he was safe and sound and that she love him. But now she had fuck it up as she has always done every time she wanted to make things right.

"When was the last time I said those words to them?" whispered Mitsuki to herself.

She heard the front door being unlocked, not bothering to lift her head since she already knew who it was. Mitsuki heard the quiet footsteps getting close to her stopping inches away from her as he set down a bag on the table.

"I pass by the bakery and got some desserts." said a gentle voice, sensing what had happened.

"Thank you." That was all Mitsuki managed to say.

"You're welcome, you should go rest up." said the gentle voice as it retreat up the stairs.

Bakugou's back was against the door after he had slammed it shut and lock it. He was furiously rubbing the tears that were forming in the corner of his eyes.

"Stop it," muttered Bakugou as he was rubbing his eyes. He will not cry, only weakling cry. And he is not a weakling.

A quiet knock was heard at the door that made Bakugou jump a little, he hesitated at first since he already knew who it was from the knocking.

"Katsuki it's me. Can you open the door, please?"

Bakugou slowly open the door, and he saw his father, Masaru standing in front of him. Unlike his youthful mother, his father had a tired expression that seem to have been plastered over the years.

"I can't believe you're my son"

"It's your fault that Izuku died."

"Do you need something, old man?" said Bakugou, with a frown.

"I pass by the bakery and got some desserts," bluntly said Masaru as if he felt the discomfort from his son. Lifting the bag towards his son, Bakugou reaches for it.

"Thanks," muttered Bakugou, he saw that his father was staring for a few seconds as if he was debating about something.

"I heard about the villain attack at U.A"

Bakugou waited for his dad to continue.

"I'm glad your safe," said Masaru, he sounded like he was being genuine which brought some warmth inside of Bakugou. Bakugou notice that his father had extended his hand towards his head, making Bakugou believe that his father was going back to showing him affection like the old times.

However, Masaru stops mid-way and quickly retreats his hand back into his pocket like it was a mistake. Bakugou saw that remorseful expression on his father's face, making the warmth quickly vanish.

"Goodnight, Katsuki," said Masaru as he headed to the room.
