"Now Lee, I normally wouldn't permit you to facing off to some random stranger… But if it isn't Kakashi's star pupil!" The tall green one seemed to quickly advocate violence against Takamitsu. "I think this accounts as a pseudo challenge against my greatest rival! Which students will prevail, one on one no holds barred combat!"

"No… No, I think I'm going to leave now-"

"Just where do you think you're going young man?" The tall one swooped right in front of Takamitsu. "I will not let this prideful moment of youth slip away!."

"And if I refuse?"

"Then that means you're ready to fight! On my mark!" Guy lifted his hands. Takamitsu frantically looked around, only to find Lee already in an aggressive stance from his peripheral.

"So this is how I die-"

"FIGHT!"

Takamitsu threw down instant smoke bombs to gain distance and elevation. Both Lee and the instructor were heavily coughing as Lee stumbled through the smoke with a blistering dash. Takamitsu landed on a high branch, observing the kunoichi had him spotted. Her wide grin followed by an inhale told Takamitsu that his stealth would be compromised shortly. Takamitsu hopped toward the river, hearing the ground behind him, steps, catching up too quickly as a result of the alert. He rolled after a leap downward and narrowly avoided a sweeping kick. Lee couldn't rebound because he was midair, and sailed off a ways over land. Takamitsu grabbed his tool pouch by the shredded stump, holding a broomstick as though it was a small Bo.

"Not much range." He thought. "I'd hate to see this man's ninjutsu skills put me through the works."

"Not a single hit made from either side. How remarkable an opponent you turned out to be!" Lee exclaimed. "I will not be holding back my speed any longer!"

"Wait holding back your wha-!" And Lee closed the 20 foot gap in what felt like the blink of an eye. Takamitsu received four punches which inflamed his abdomen. He backed and blocked the fifth punch. On a crossover, Takamitsu grabbed Lee's extended arm and threw him over his shoulder. Lee, being nimble, landed feet down from the flip, and proceeded to reverse suplex Takamitsu over him as a counter. Takamitsu had no footing to obtain and went side first into the dirt, bouncing thrice across the turf due to the release of the grapple.

"Alright Lee, you got me I qu-" And Takamitsu had failed to finish the sentence before a spinning backhand threw him over the river. All his training today payed off as he skid over the water and never had himself submerged. His jacket was soaked, but he remained stable, as his breathing forced him to become physically tranquil, while his mind screamed in frustration.

"Come on, I can take another!" Takamitsu's frustration was getting the better of him, but Lee hesitated at the sudden change of attitude. Lee took a couple steps back, and got a running start to skim over the water. From there, Takamitsu saw he had the dexterity advantage over the waters, as Lee struggled to keep his footing. It was just predictable enough that Takamitsu could perform a Dark Souls trademarked roll while Lee couldn't sharpen his turn to meet a punch. As Lee zoomed away, Takamitsu took out two kunai, dulled the tips against one another, and awaited the next pass. He didn't want to test to find out if Lee was in fact a glass cannon. Lee rounded a turn, and his speed had deceptively increased.

Takamitsu couldn't set the shot right. By the time his arm was wound, Lee was all but 5 steps from contact. Takamitsu let his chakra dissipate from his feet, and fell backwards to avoid the equivalent of a dynamic entry styled dropkick. Lee's momentum was enough to slide himself to shore.

"By my own eyes Lee! Your opponent's youth has shined as brightly as your own. A great adversary to-"

"I. Have. No. Fucking. Idea. How. To. Take. This. Guy. On…" Takamitsu mumbled, frustrated as he recovered from the water, now fully soaked.

"He's a lot slower Lee. All that water has weighed him down, so that means you can go for the takedown!" The instructor threw a fist in the air in a victory pose stance.

"Yes Guy Sensei! I will finish what I started here! I hope you will be proud of me Guy Sensei!"

"I'm going to have to drown him." Takamitsu thought with fear and a pinch of sarcasm, left eye twitching as he's nearly shocked.

Lee set off for a final time over the water, and Takamitsu was taking quick deep breaths. Takamitsu's hands were riveting chakra to help grip what he could of Lee. Lee powered with his shoulder, immediately knocking the wind out of his opponent and likely cracking ribs. Takamitsu succeeded in wrapping his arm around Lee's left arm and then to part of his neck. The pivot slowed Lee down enough to where his energy was no longer skidding over the water. Lee dropped "like his first name" into the depths of the river as Takamitsu held on, in following suit.

Takamitsu just gripped hard, as blood seeped out of his mouth, fogging his view underwater. Lee thrashed his other elbow into Takamitsu's badly damaged rib cage. Something aught to have snapped by now, and Takamitsu aborted mission to surface. The gasp was cut short from the agonizing stabs in his chest moving about. A couple of seconds passed, and while Takamitsu was getting his surroundings correct while fighting the waters, Lee hadn't surfaced. Lee… Hadn't… Surfaced…

Takamitsu rushed downward, hardly able to ignore the screaming reception of his nervous system. Lee had just his hands up under water. Seemingly standing erect as though his feet were magnetized to the rocks below. Takamitsu tried lifting, but Lee hadn't budged, both their eyes looking frantic in this locked scenario. It dawned on Takamistu, Lee couldn't weigh more than the average human since he was fit enough, so he observed the apparent ankle weights that held Lee down. No rocks held his feet in place. Takamitsu gestured to Lee's feet before tugging one of the boots… No good. The black around his vision crept again. Tried as Takamitsu could, he couldn't help but heavily cough while under, wasting all of his air supply.

"Oxygen, needs, oxygen. No, I cut this out and they help… him… Kunai… god it's so dull, come on!"
