Bucky was quick to notice that the woman wasn't even near to calming down as a result of a shocked pair of wide eyes on her charming ones, so he grabbed the witch's arm and took her outside his room.

"I'll be right back" Saying this, he brought

Wanda all the way out, to the hall.

"Wanda! You nearly snatched the woman's soul out of her body!"

"Buck... where did this woman come from? And that baby!?"

"... I.. . found them on the street a couple of days ago, and took them to the hospital looking at the lady's condition. There I found out that she was sexually abused and that… They were sending her to an NGO, so I brought her here" Bucky explained, briefly, melting Wanda's heart like hot wax.

"She has been raped ?" Wanda asked in horror, covering her mouth with her hand.

"And many times …the doctors believe that she was raped right after giving birth to her son … I think it's an abusive relationship case... but... we don't know for sure as she hasn't told us anything" Bucky dived deep into his explanation and stepped closer to Wanda lowering his voice. " And the baby you see … is her rapist's child"

"Did he come to the hospital to claim her and her baby!?"

"No... not yet…"

"I'm sorry I have disturbed you... I know that this is my problem and you have better things to do then to come and help me … I just haven't told anyone about this yet… I called Natasha too, but she didn't pick up my phone so I reached out to you as you both are the only ladies I know that can help me" Bucky explained softly.

"It's all right Buck, that's what friends are for... tell me... what can I help you with?"

"I am very lost... I have no clue where to start from... I don't know how to take care of a baby, I don't know how to take care of this new mother at all. You are a woman... you know more about these things than I do"

"Look Bucky, it's almost lunch time now, go make something to eat while I try to speak to her" Wanda ordered, but immediately regretted it, "no… no …wait… come with me in her room, she's more used to seeing you than me''

Eventually, both of them entered the dormitory, where the woman was still scared of the strangers and had scooped her newborn in her arms by now .

This time, Wanda approached the lady's bed wearing a compassionate smile on her face, taking slow and steady steps.

"Hi... I am Wanda, Bucky's friend… sorry to have scared you before" Wanda said and took a seat in front of the cross legged lady on the bed, who had her baby in her arms.

" And who is this little angel over here?"She added, lifting her hand up to caress the child's beanie covered head, but the nameless woman hugged her child closer to her chest, in order to distance him from Wanda, thinking that the latter wanted to snatch the child away from her.

The very next moment, her crystal clear amber eyes looked at Bucky, with a gaze filled with fright and uneasiness, making the Winter soldier walk over to her in order to comfort the frightened woman.

"Please don't be afraid of her, she won't harm you or your child. She won't take your child away from you. She's here to help you. Whatever you need , if you feel hesitation to tell me you can share with her "Bucky spoke and with every word that spilled out of his mouth the woman got warmer and calmer .

"What's your name ?" Wanda asked the woman.

"Name? No... I don't know" the woman replied, shaking her head in a negative response and switching her gaze from Wanda to Bucky various times , feeling pity for herself.

"Don't worry... it's all right" Bucky had just finished saying these words, when the little baby stretched his tiny limbs and did that baby scrunch that never failed to make his mother smile... tenderly taking in the sight of a recently awakened baby.

Bucky and Wanda's eyes were in awe, it was the first time both her and Bucky had had the chance to witness this view. In that very second, Bucky's phone began ringing.

"You guys talk… I'll have to attend this call" Buck declared, before leaving the room and picking up his mobile phone.

It was Natasha.

"Hi Bucky… I just came back from my mission and saw your missed call . All good?" Natasha spoke through her phone.

"Hi Natasha, sorry for disturbing you. All fine… I just…" Buck replied but the redhead had a surprise under her sleeve.

"Hey ice boy, Would you mind opening the door of your apartment to let me in?"

Upon hearing this, Bucky speechlessly went towards the entrance and let Natasha in.

" I did not know you were already here" Buck spoke, cutting the phone call as Natasha walked into his apartment.

"I had to... you don't call anyone in vain… I was worried for you…"Natasha replied, and stopped her verbal communication as soon as she heard the baby crying, "is that a…?" the redhead asked in astonishment before breaking into Bucky's room without even letting the brunet blink an eye.

She even forgot to use her vocal strings as the impactful oleo clear sight drew in front of her.

The beautiful amber gaze met the redhead's green eyes in slight surprise, as she continued to craddle her baby in her arms to soothe him.

" Well… Natasha… this is... a woman and her newborn... meet Natasha, she is my friend and my best friend's girlfriend" Bucky took the role of doing the introductions, after which his eyes scanned the clock.

"Well… ladies, I will leave you all alone so you get to know each other better. I need to go to the kitchen" Bucky declared, finding himself the perfect excuse to escape a heavy rainfall of questions from Steve's girlfriend and rushed to prepare the lunch .

The golden gaze lowered to focus on her son when the brunette left her room, ignoring Natasha and Wanda, as if they were never there.

"My love... What's up? Are you hungry?" The lady spoke to her crying son with the honey sweet voice before unbuttoning three of the top closures of her maternity gown to offer the premature breast to feed him.

Her scars and wounds weren't unnoticed by the women watching the mother's obvious signs of the past abuse that she had lived , forcing Natasha and the Witch to look at each other in agony ,not inquiring anything about the injuries of the woman as a silent pact they had just made through their eyes. Instead, they both stood there, and stared at the woman and her baby, each of them creating a version of the lady's story in their heads, until she was done feeding her child and placed the creature on her exposed chest to help him fall asleep after a very dimly audible burp had reached her mother's ears. She too… began blinking heavily …but was soon a bit alerted when she saw Wanda approaching her , who inclined forward closer to the nameless woman.
