Up in the bell tower, Aang looked down as the city was turning to rubble.

"I hope you made it, Katara. You too, Sokka", he said to himself.

Suddenly Katara came bursting in.

"Aang!"

"Katara! You're alright! What's happening out there?"

"Frollo found out we escaped. He's doing everything he can to find us."

"Where's Sokka?"

"I'm right here, buddy", Sokka said as he came in carrying Smith.

"Is this-"

"This is Smith. He's a wounded and a fugitive like us", Katara said.

They brought Smith over to a corner to rest in. Katara cleaned and then sowed up his wound. He was still somewhat unconscious but clearly alive.

"How did you guys find him?"

"We were out getting food. Then we saw Frollo attempting to kill a family", Sokka said.

"Why?"

"He thought they were hiding us. When Smith refused to burn their house, Frollo attempted to execute him. We rescued him."

"So he is a fugitive?"

"He fell in the river when trying to escape. So actually, Frollo thinks he's dead."

"Hmm."

"Aang!"

"What is it?"

"Frollo's out front. He's coming in!"

"Then you two have to go. Go down the south tower steps."

"Promise you'll take care of Smith?"

"Promise"

"Here."

"What's this?"

"Just remember, when you wear this woven band you hold the city in your hand."

"Ok"

Katara and Sokka then left, luckily without being seen.

Aang then grabbed Smith and hid him under a table with several wooden figures. Just seconds later, Frollo walked in.

"Ahh...you. The boy whose name keeps slipping my mind."

"It's Aang. What do you want, Frollo?"

"Nothing. Well...except to talk if that's alright with you. I brought a little something."

Frollo then pulled out a vine of grapes. He and Aang then both sat down at the table.

"Is there something troubling you, Aang?"

"No"

"Oh, but there is. I know there is."

A grape then fell on the floor. As Aang bent over to pick it up he watched Frollo, hoping he wouldn't look under the table, which was where Smith was hidden.

"I think you're hiding something."

"Why would I?"

"You haven't touched your food."

Aang then ate a couple grapes. Under the table Smith let out a small mumble.

"Mmm."

As Smith yawned, Aang kicked him, silencing him. He covered it up with a fake cough.

"...Seeds"

Frollo was still suspicious.

"What's different in here?"

He then saw a wooden figure of Katara, which Aang had made in his spare time.

"Isn't this one new?"

"Uh-"

"It's awfully good. Looks very much like the...gypsy girl. I know...you helped her ESCAPE!"

As he yelled, Frollo slammed his fist on the table. Aang fell backwards out of his chair and onto the floor.

"And now all of Paris is burning because of YOU, helping an evil gypsy."

"Don't say that. I love her. More than anything."

"YOU IDIOT!", Frollo shouted as he knocked all the other wooden figures off the table before kneeling down and grabbing Aang by his shirt. "She can't have kindness, she cunning. She's a gypsy. Gypsies aren't capable of real love. Think boy think for once in your life."

After a few seconds of silence, Frollo continued, "But what chance does a poor child like you have against her heathen treachery? Well, never you mind her, Aang. I'll free you from her evil spell. She'll torment you no longer."

"What do you mean?"

"I know where her hideout is. And tomorrow at dawn, I attack with 1,000 men."

Frollo then left.
