Chapter 2 Shinichi's New Roommate
It's been about 2 weeks since that night in Tropical Land and things were going pretty well. Shinichi and Ran we're now officially dating even if they haven't gone on a date yet. But Shinichi couldn't help but wonder if he'll ever meet The Doctor again.
¨So Shinichi we don't have any school work this weekend so what do you want to do¨ Ran asked as she and Shinichi walked to his house.
¨Well we could finally go out on a date¨ Shinichi answered grinning with a little blush. Then suddenly there was a wheezing sound that Shinichi recognized. After hearing it Shinichi ran in the direction of the sound and found the source of it a blue box that Shinichi recognized as The TARDIS. A tall man with gray hair fell out of The TARDIS. Shinichi didn't recognize the man but then remembered regeneration and figured it was The Doctor.
¨Shinichi why did you run off like that–¨ Ran stopped when she saw The Doctor.
Shinichi ran over to The Doctor and checked his pulse. It was a double pulse which was good both hearts were working. ¨Ran can you help me get him to my house.¨ Ran nodded and helped Shinichi pick him up.
About 7 mins later
Shinichi and Ran managed to get The Doctor to Shinichi's house and on his couch. ¨Shinichi, who do you think this guy is¨ Ran asked.
¨Actually I already know him¨ Shinichi responded.
¨Huh¨ Ran seemed surprised.
¨I met him a few weeks ago he's called The Doctor.¨
¨Doctor Who.¨
¨That's what I said.¨
¨And I said that is the question isn't it¨ The Doctor said suddenly jumping off the couch ¨good to see you again Shinichi how long has it been.¨
¨2 weeks¨ Shinichi answered.
¨Really based on your face I would´ve said 70 years.¨
¨Shouldn't that kind of comment come from Colin Baker or Peter Capaldi¨ Shinichi asked, irritated.
¨Shinichi stop breaking the fourth wall and tell me how you met this man¨ Ran said ready to punch someone if she doesn't get answers.
¨R-right um Ran, The Doctor, Doctor, Ran.¨
¨Delighted¨ The Doctor said, shaking Rans hand.
¨You too¨ Ran said very chipper ¨NOW how did you meet Shinichi¨ Ran said much less chipper.
¨W-well you see Shinichi you tell her you're much better at telling this story¨ The Doctor responded looking rather terrified.
¨Okay Ran you see¨ Shinichi then proceeded to tell Ran the whole story. She didn't believe The Doctor was an alien at first but after she felt his double heart beat Ran was convinced.
Doorbell ring-ring
¨Who could that¨ The Doctor asked as he went to open the door.
¨Shinichi I found this thing and…who are you¨ Agasa asked confused.
¨I'm The Doctor delighted to meet you.¨
¨Professor Agasa¨ he said very chipper ¨NOW what have you done with Shinichi¨ Agasa said much less chipper.
¨Professor it's fine he's a friend of mine¨ Shinichi said rushing towards the door. And proceeded to tell him about The Doctor being an alien Agasa thought they were joking two heart thing you get the idea.
¨So anyway Professor what is it you wanted to show me¨ Shinichi asked.
¨Oh right this weird thing crashed in my backyard Yes I said crashed come on Shinichi you to Ran and The Doctor can come if he wants¨ Agasa said in a rush.
When they got to Agasa´s house, everything made of plastic was moving cup, wires, a plastic snake that he had for a reason ¨Hmm based off the moving plastic I´d say you found a Nestene Consciousness¨ The Doctor said quite calmly.
¨A what¨ Agasa, Shinichi, and Ran said in unison.
¨A Nestene Consciousness you see it's an organism that can control nearby plastic¨ The Doctor explained.
¨Is there a way we can stop it¨ Agasa asks.
¨Yes Professor we can use spare parts from your lab to build a device that will send out a shockwave that will put the Consciousness out of it Shinichi, Ran while we build it you two keep the plastic under control.¨
Some Time later
Shinichi and Ran while dealing with the plastic ended up in a very unfortunate position. ¨Alright we finished the device¨ The Doctor started as he entered the room but stopped when he saw Shinichi and Ran's position. ¨I hardly think this is the best time you two.¨
¨N-no the plastic attacked us and we ended up like this¨ Ran said embarrassed.
¨Doctor, are we going to use the device¨ Agasa entered the room ¨sorry you two didn't mean to interrupt.¨
¨JUST USE THE DEVICE¨ Shinchi shouted.
After the Nestene was defeated
¨Well Shinichi it was good seeing you again¨ The Doctor said.
¨You to Doctor it was certainly interesting¨ Shinichi responded.
¨Come back anytime¨ Ran said.
¨Yes I'd love to see more of you TARDIS¨ Agasa followed up.
The Doctor waved goodbye and got in his TARDIS and then it started smoking and making a more broken version of its usual wheezing sound. ¨It just occurred to me that the Time Lords may have banished me to Earth….Shinichi can I crash at your place.¨
