Yusaku and Yukiko Kudo had decided to surprise their son with one of their occasional visits but when they knocked on the door of the Kudo mansion they were the ones who ended up surprised.

¨Oh hello¨ The Doctor said after opening the door.

Looking confused Yusaku asked the mysterious man ¨Um, where's Shinichi.¨

¨He's not here¨ The Doctor then closed the door.

Even more confused, Yukiko knocked on the door again. ¨Yes¨ The Doctor asked.

¨Ah, where is Shinichi? ¨ Yukiko asked.

¨On a Case¨ The Doctor closed the door again.

Yusaku knocked on the door again and The Doctor opened it. ¨What kind of Case¨ Yusaku asked.

¨How should I know look who are you both anyway¨ The Doctor asked frustrated.

¨We're Shinichi's parents¨ they both answered in unison.

¨Ah I see¨ The Doctor then closed the door and Yusaku was about to knock on it again when it suddenly opened. ¨Well don't just stand out there in the cold come in¨ The Doctor yelled both politely and angrily. And they went inside and sat down.

¨So who are you anyway¨ Yukiko asked curiously.

¨I'm The Doctor Shinichi's roommate and yes I'm a little old to be a high schoolers roommate.¨

¨Why are you living with our son.¨ Yusaku asked somewhat suspiciously.

¨Well you see I used to travel but my traveling arrangements have been compromised and I met Shinichi some weeks prior so I asked if I could stay with him and he was kind enough to allow me….that is after I agreed to pay rent….also I'm a month overdue¨ the Doctor said that last part a bit awkwardly ¨anyway I have some things to do in the garage so make yourselves at home¨ and The Doctor left them.

Yukiko then looked over to Yusaku ¨You think it's safe to let him live with Shin-Chan.¨

¨It should be fine if Shinichi didn't trust him he would've kicked him out soon as the rent was overdue¨ Yuskaku said calmly.

¨Okay.¨

Over the next few hours Yusaku and Yukiko kept hearing strange noises and explosions from the garage

Yukiko got curious as to what The Doctor was doing so decided to go and see. When Yukiko opened the door to the garage, The Doctor was working a console that had a blue orb of energy hovering over it. Suddenly the orb sucked The Doctor, Yukiko, and Yusaku who was walking by into it.

30 Mins Later

Shinichi entered his home and realized immediately something was wrong because there was no noise coming from the garage. ¨Doctor, where are you¨ Shinichi said to the empty garage. Suddenly a blue orb appeared and it spat out The Doctor and Shinichi´s parents. ¨Ah there you are mom, dad I see you've met The Doctor¨ Shinichi reacted nonchalantly.

¨Yeah and not going to lie the inside of a wormhole is very underwhelming¨ Yukiko replied.

SIDE NOTE: Probably not the most exciting chapter but I just wanted to introduce Shnichi´s parents to The Doctor but next chapter will hopefully be more exciting
