What's up Dravenites, welcome to another Auslly story! They are by far my otp, because c'mon, who doesn't love them? So this story is a sequel to wedding bells and a prequel to A new arrival. So if you haven't read the prequel, you don't have to to understand the basics of the story but I would anyway. ( totally not an attempt to gain viewership :P).

Enjoy!

Ally Moon sat in the bathroom on her suburban home. In her hands was a pink and white stick.

'' No, no, please no'' she willed, hoping for the screen on the stick to show a minus sign. Unfortunately she wrong, a plus sign glowed on the screen.

Ally put her face in hands and began to weep. This couldn't be happening, not again.

It's a common fact that the first year of marriage is hardest on a couple. Thankfully for Austin and Ally that wasn't the case. As they had already been living together, they didn't have to work out to many things since they also co-owned a multinational music conglomerate together as well.

They were, in the eyes of most people, the perfect couple. They had respectable jobs, were friendly to everyone they met and weren't afraid to offer babysitting services, a ladder or a cup of sugar. The only thing that could make them more perfect would be a child of their very own.

Ally had, found out she was pregnant shortly after the pair's honeymoon in Eilat. Both were ecstatic, they were so excited to spoil a child; their child. Naturally Trish and Dez were thrilled too, Dez had already bought a gender neutral houndstooth onesie for the kid, and Trish had compiled a book of embarrassing stories about its parents.

Unfortunately, after Ally's first doctor's visit, no heartbeat could be found. This wasn't much to be worried about the young woman hadn't been with child for very long. But what was actually bad was that her Doctor; Dr. Eric, couldn't find a sign of a baby at all. Ally had had a miscarriage.

Naturally devastated, the brunette's worries were put to rest when Dr. Eric assured the pair that they shouldn't be upset at all, with both of them being young and healthy adults, there was no reason for either of them to stop trying.

So that's exactly what they did, the pair kept trying for a baby and soon their prayers were answered, Ally was again pregnant, but this time was different. Again Dr. Eric couldn't find the signs of a child, however this time hit differently, Ally began depressed. She would come home from recording sessions, fake smile at Austin and go up to their room where she'd stay, the sounds of crying filling the house. Poor Ally, Austin couldn't stand to see her so depressed. Using his connections in the music world, Austin was able to get hold of the best therapist he could; the same person who helped Steven Tyler kick his coke addiction.

Eventually, Ally's sessions with the therapist paid off, Ally had been prescribed a hefty dose of Venlafaxine which she took twice daily. Soon after, she was back to being the peppy woman he fell in love with back when he was 15. But they pair agreed that after this episode, they would stop trying and would just focus on being married for a while. There wasn't any reason for them to rush into being parents, they were only 25 anyway. Besides, kids would make it harder for them to concentrate on their music careers, by far one of the most important aspects of their lives. And it was working, ever since they stopped trying, the pair had become more flirty in front of each other, did more stuff together and were happier people because of it.

'' Dammit, where'd this go wrong?'' Ally whined, thinking back.

Flashback to Amsterdam, 2 weeks ago –

'' Woohoo. Man, that premier * hiccup * kicked ass'' Austin said, sloppily entering his and Ally's hotel room, tossing his jacket on a nearby chair.

'' Who knew a movie about terrorists infiltrating an underground bunker in The Netherlands was a good idea'' Ally laughed, both parties quite drunk.

'' I loved the part where the dealer from the casino kills the head of the group with a poker chip.''

'' So unexpected'' Ally looked outside at the busy nightlife, the sight of the city's modern beauty giving her an idea. '' We could do our own * hiccup * version of the scene in the movie with the dealer and the lieutenant you know?''

'' But we don't have scaffolding equipment, twelve pounds of Swiss cheese and an empty assault rifle.''

'' The other part Austin'' Ally rolled her eyes.

'' Oh…oh! Now I see.''

'' Very good, you get an A-'' Ally grinned, pulling Austin onto the bed with her.

'' Why an A-?'' Austin teased.

'' You threw up on the waitress back at the premier. You lost points for that. Here's hoping you can make up for it now.''

End of flashback –

Why were they so careless back then? This could ruin their marriage. Their lives had been so much better ever since they stopped trying to have kids. What if this kid didn't turn out so well, or if it ended up causing a divorce? This couldn't get any worse.

Austin would be furious. He had initiated them swearing off kids, when he found out, he'd feel like she had betrayed him, she'd become his worst enemy. Gd, why did this have to happen? But she couldn't lie to him, could she? No, she was a painfully honest person. She had been the one who told a customer at her dad's store that he should play piano because he had witch's fingers. She had to come clean, if he was mad then he was mad. If he wasn't, well, she'd cross that bridge when she got to it. If the proverbial bridge even existed.

'' Allz, I'm home'' Austin called as he entered. Revently the record company he and Ally owned; A&A Records had been doing amazingly. They'd been signing talent from all over the world. Unfortunately, that meant a lot more paperwork for Austin to deal with, which meant his energy levels were constantly lowered. The worst part was that some of those guys weren't even good singers or dancers, they were average at best. But because Trish insisted, they use autotune, suddenly they all sounded artificially fantastic.

All that '' artificial talent'' meant Austin had more delegating to do, more tours to ok, more contracts to sign and more work for him to do. Sure, he knew owning a record company meant he'd be busy all the time, but it was taking a serious toll on his mental health. He could barely enjoy pancakes anymore! Worst of all he was spending less time with Ally which hurt the most. They worked at the same place yet he hardly saw her.

'' Ally?'' Austin called again, failing to hear his wife's voice. Walking into he den, he looked on the furniture, nope, she wasn't there. Nor was she outside tending to the roses she had started planting.

'' Huh?'' Austin said to himself, he had heard a faint whimpering from his and Ally's bedroom.

Darting upstairs, he stormed into their bathroom, kicking in the door. '' Ally? Ally where are you – oh there you are'' Austin's tone changing from angry to calm as he saw Ally on the side of the bathtub.

'' Gah! Austin what the fuck? You hear someone crying and you kick in the door?! I'm stuck between saying that I have the sweetest husband ever or that if you weren't my husband I'd call the police.''

'' And I'm stuck between I'm sorry and you're welcome. Why were you crying though?''

'' Look'' Ally said in a broken whisper, pointing to the bathroom sink.

'' Ally, these are pregnancy tests. How many did you take?''

'' 36. I wanted to be sure.''

'' These are real?''

'' No Austin, I bought 36 fake pregnancy tests for an April Fool's day prank.''

'' But its May- oh, sarcasm'' Austin gasped, still not always able to understand his wife's wit. '' Are you…you know?''

Ally teared up and nodded sadly. She braced for rage, un unbridled fury, instead, she got a shrieking cheer.

'' Wait * sniff* you're happy about this?'' Ally said, wiping away her tears.

'' How couldn't I be? We're having a kid.''

'' But after what happened? How can you be excited? What if it happens again? I don't know if I could deal with it.''

'' Baby, don't think like that. We're going to be awesome parents. I'll show it how to rock out and have fun. You'll show it boring stuff like reading and watching those history channel documentaries you like so much Also, if I remember, we had a lot of fun making the kid.''

'' What's wrong with a 2 hour documentary on Papa Doc Duvalier?'' Ally sniffed, her mood perking up.

'' You made me watch it. I passed out at the half hour mark.''

'' I know'' Ally smiled.

'' Feeling better now?''

'' No. But, I'm getting there.''

Austin smiled. This wouldn't be like last time.

Ooh, past, present and future me thinks. Thanks for reading Dravenites, hope you're all having a great day, and to my American viewers, happy Turkey day!
