A girl with short blonde hair was running from some boys that were chasing her, jeering at her. She turns around a corner but only to find herself trapped as a rat that is sponge in a rat trap.

She turns around to face them, she doesn't want to hurt them but she will if she has to.

"Le-Leave me alone." she said, trying not to cry.

"Not without that fuck that we owe you for running away from us." sneered the boy.

Kairi shakes her head, she didn't get away from Billy just for this, it is wrong. She wants to be left alone so no one will hurt her.

She was ready to fight by picking up a stick, ready to defend herself against these horrible bullies, she can't keep on letting men or women push her around anymore, she needs to stand up for herself or die trying.

But the boys didn't even make a move as there was a clear voice, clearing his throat. They turn around to the person.

"Why don't you leave the lady alone and be on your way?"

The boy was around her own age or slightly older but she can't tell. He has blonde hair, close enough to be golden, hazel eyes, he didn't wear the clothes that the town people have, he seems to be a rich kid or something.

"She bumped into us, made us drop our rabbit, my lord."

The bullies are afraid of him, but why? She knows she only has been here for a few days, two at the most but why did they call him that?

"Is that true?"

It took her a moment to realize that he is talking to her. She shakes her head to get rid of any thoughts in her mind so she can answer the boy.

"It was an accident as I told them, I was running from a monster." she said.

"Monster?" he asked.

"I mean, Billy. I'm not from here. I'm from another world, the future."

The bullies laughed, Kairi could feel tears in her eyes. It's just like back there, where no one believes her because of one thing or another. She just wishes she knew who sent her here and why.

"Go away, stop bothering her."

"Yes, my lord."

With some scuffing feet running away, it was just her and the boy. She looks up at him, trying to read the boy.

"Who are you and are you really from the future?" he asked.

She isn't sure why but he rubbed the question off the wrong way on her.

"Why would I lie and I do have a name! My name is Kairi!" she snapped at him.

He smirks which gets him under her skin even more. "A lot of people lie, Kairi. Surely you know that."

'Arrogant arse.'

She closes her eyes focusing on her twin brother. 'Aiden, behave. Don't make me say that again.'

She opens her eyes and looks to him to see him looking at her curiously.

"If you're from the future, tell me, what do they say about Jaime Lannister?"

She shrugs, anything to forget what she is having a headache about.

"I dunno. I don't like rumors and gossiping." she told him.

He nods and steps closer to her, she is ready to run from him, she doesn't know him at all, so why should she stay?

But yet…something is keeping her here with this boy.

"Do you even know who I am?" he asked.

"I'm guessing you're Jaime Lannister?" she asked.

He sighed, like he is trying to keep patience with her for some reason, why was he annoyed at her?

"Yes, I'm Jaime Lannister. Which house are you from?" he asked.

"Oh, um….This abandon-"

"I don't mean your house home. Which house are you from? Stark? Bateron? The only reason I know that you are not a Targaryen is because you don't silver hair. And I know you're not a part of our family because I've never seen you before."

"I told you, I'm from the future, dummy. There is no such thing as those houses, not unless you're at Hogwarts which has four different houses, Gryffindor, the lion house. It's supposed to be of bravery. Slytherin, the snake house, it's supposed to be of ambition. Hufflepuff, it's supposed to be compassion and finally, Ravenclaw, it's the house that's supposed to be smart and loving to learn. I can't go to Hogwarts yet since I'm not 11 years old yet and I don't wanna." she told him.

"Why?"

"Because of the bad man, he hurts me. Billy lets him hurt me, he smiles and touches his…thingy." she said.

The boy's eyes narrowed in anger, all arrogant gone, but why was there concern?

"You mean…his manhood?" he asked.

She nods, if that's what it's called.

"How old are you?" he asked.

"6."

The boy shakes his head and puts his hand out to her, she takes it, wondering if she'll regret it.

"My name is Jaime Lannister." he said.

Jaime then takes her to the castle, she is scared of what is to await her, will it be more of the horrible or will he be her savior?
