After Gretchen had picked her 8 contestants for the final cast of the newest season of Total Drama, it was now up to Patrick to pick his 8 contestants for the final cast. Unlike Gretchen, who preferred to work from an actual office, Patrick preferred to work from a pub, and he currently found himself at an Irish pub in Belfast, Northern Ireland together with his four mates, Sheldon, Bertie, Nigel and Liam.
Sheldon was a Caucasian male standing at 6 foot and 4 inches with shaggy and messy brown hair, a muscular build and light green eyes and a slight stubble on his face who dressed in a long sleeved white shirt underneath a light green buttoned up shirt and stonewashed black jeans with red steel toed boots.
Bertie was a Caucasian male standing at 6 foot and 7 inches with spiky brown hair, a thin build and light green eyes and a brown handlebar mustache who wore a light brown flat cap on his head along with a pale green dress shirt underneath a light brown tweed jacket along with light brown tweed pants and light brown loafers.
Nigel was a Caucasian male standing at 5 foot and 2 inches with curly brown hair, a pudgy build and pale green eyes and a clean shaven face dressed in a dark green t-shirt with a logo of an Irish brewery on the front and dark blue jean shorts with dark green socks and black Velcro shoes.
Finally, Liam was a Caucasian male standing at 5 foot and 10 inches with shoulder length brown hair, an average build and dark green eyes and a brown soul patch on his chin wearing a white canvas hat on his head along with a green Hawaiian shirt with a white flower pattern on it along with khaki shorts, white socks and red boots with white laces.
A waitress proceeded to bring Patrick and his mates a tray filled with beer mugs, and the boys toasted their beers and took a sip. "Alright, lads! I know we're havin' a fun night out at the pub with each other, but there's still work that needs ta be done! See, I'm gonna be hostin' the newest season o' that Canadian reality show, Total Drama together with me dad an' me sister, an' the producers asked me ta pick 8 contestants fer the new season; 8 lasses an' 8 lads! And seein' as I'm not the best decision maker, I'm gonna need the help o' the four o' ya lads ta help me pick me share o' the contestants! I got a laptop right here, an' the files an' Audition Tapes o' the contestants are on it! How 'bout each o' ya lads pick one lass an' one lad?" Patrick asked his mates as he opened up his laptop and accessed his e-mail account.
Patrick's mates grinned at the proposal. "Sounds great, Patrick! We're glad ye trust us enough ta help ya with this daunting task!" Sheldon told Patrick.
"Aye, we'll gladly help ya with this!" Bertie chimed in.
"So, did yer dad an' sister already pick their share o' the contestants?" Nigel asked curiously.
"Gretchen already picked her share, yeah. Now it's me turn ta do it, an' then me dad will pick the last batch." Patrick nodded to Nigel.
Nigel nodded back as Liam proceeded to speak up. "So, who gets ta pick first?" He asked Patrick.
Patrick let out an inquisitive hum as he thought about it. "How 'bout Sheldon goes first, then Bertie, then Nigel an' finally Liam?" He suggested.
Patrick's mates nodded at the suggestion. "Sounds like a plan, Patrick! Let's get to it!" Sheldon agreed as he took a sip of his beer.
Patrick nodded back as he also took a sip of his beer and turned the laptop screen to Sheldon. "Alright, Sheldon. Like I said, ye can only pick one lass an' one lad, so pick wisely, yeah?" He told his mate.
"Aye, I got it, Patrick." Sheldon nodded again as he clicked on a file that read Melinda Ridley. The file included a picture of an African-American woman who was rather tall at 6 foot and 1 inch and had a quite muscular build along with black dreadlock styled hair that reached her shoulders and green eyes. She wore a gray shirt covered in oil stains, blue jeans that were also covered in oil stains and black boots. She wore a blue jacket over her gray shirt that she used to stuff small tools inside.
"Oh, this lass should be fun! Says here she's a mechanic who can be as stubborn as a mule, believin' she don't need no help ta get shit done 'round 'er parts. She sounds like she could be a potential bad guy fer yer new season, Patrick. An' from what I understand 'bout Total Drama, each season o' Total Drama needs a bad guy, right?" Sheldon asked Patrick.
Patrick took a good look at Melinda's file, took the mouse from Sheldon, clicked on the Audition Tape, watched it, thought it over and nodded in approval. "Aye, she sounds workable. Go ahead an' put 'er file in the "Accepted" folder." He ordered Sheldon, who nodded back as he did what Patrick told him to do.
"Alright, now time ta pick a lad fer yer new season..." Sheldon muttered as he scrolled through the list of files and clicked on one that read Viktor Orlov. Viktor's photo depicted him as a very tall male, and possibly the tallest contestant yet standing at 6 foot and 7 inches while being very muscular with broad shoulders in a similar vein to DJ from Total Drama Island. He had medium length curly light brown hair with a fringe up to his cheeks that practically covered both of his eyes. The file mentioned that Viktor had almond shaped gray eyes and a light caramel skin tone. He also had a long and bumpy angular nose and stitches going down his left cheek along with a black and white tattoo of a callused hand pointing up the middle finger on his right bicep. Finally, he also had a short light brown mustache and beard. His outfit consisted of a patchy blue and white flannel shirt that was ripped up at the sleeves worn over a white wife beater along with loose gray overalls with one of the sides unbuttoned, a black belt around his waist and black hiker boots.
"Bless me bagpipes, that lad's huge!" Sheldon exclaimed in shock as he saw Viktor's photo.
Patrick grinned as he saw the photo. "Aye, he surely looks like someone worth me time! Maybe I could challenge 'im ta an arm wrestle durin' the contestants' down time!" He bragged before clicking on Viktor's Audition Tape to make sure that he was worth his time. Viktor's Audition Tape started out with Viktor's younger brother Olaf sneaking up on Viktor in the shower, something Viktor clearly didn't appreciate.
The Audition Tape then cut to Viktor outside with his clothes on, and the Russian boy had tied his younger brother to a pine tree while laughing like a maniac. Viktor then began to speak in third person, with Olaf asking him to stop doing so, but Viktor refused as he introduced himself to the camera in broken English, and picked up a shiny axe as he claimed that one of his many talents was chopping wood, and Viktor began to chop down the pine tree he had tied Olaf to, with said pine tree eventually falling into a lake while Olaf was still tied to it. As Viktor signed off with a threatening message, Patrick and his mates laughed at everything they saw.
"Alright, alright. This lad's definitely worth our time. Sheldon, go ahead an' put 'is file in the "Accepted" folder." Patrick told Sheldon as Sheldon dragged Viktor's file to the "Accepted" folder. Sheldon then sat back as Bertie took a seat at the laptop.
"Alright, now it's my turn ta pick a lass an' lad fer the new Total Drama season!" Bertie grinned as he began to scroll through the file list and clicked on a file that read Samantha/Miranda Dropper. The file showed a picture of a Caucasian girl who was very tall, standing at 6 foot and 6 inches with a thin and lanky build and orange-yellow hair with dyed white tips that was long and curly while being swept to the left. Her left eye was yellow and her right eye was blue and she had peach colored skin and a sun tattooed onto her left cheek and a crescent moon tattooed onto her right cheek. Her outfit consisted of a long sleeved yellow shirt and blue puffy pants with yellow stars and maroon frills around the neck and waist, maroon ribbons around the wrists and ankles and brown jester shoes with bells attached to the tips. The girl had a cheerful smile on her face, and the name "Samantha" was written on it. There was a photo next to Samantha's that depicted the same girl, except her hair was covering her left eye and she wore a blue nightcap and had a disinterested frown on her face. The name "Miranda" was written on the photo.
"Aye, this is somethin' different. Says 'ere that Samantha used ta have a twin sister named Miranda who died from a rare disease at age 9, an' Samantha wanted ta keep 'er sister's memory alive, so she started pretendin' ta be 'er sister, but that resulted in developin' a split personality that Samantha named after 'er late sister and claimed what Miranda woulda acted like if she had lived ta be Samantha's age." Bertie said as he read through the file.
Patrick also took a look at the file and nodded in agreement. "Aye, she kinda reminds o' that Mike lad an' 'is multiple personalities from Revenge o' the Island. Ye think she would be fit fer the final cast?" He asked Bertie.
"Well, what kinda people did yer sister pick? Maybe this lass could rub off well on some of 'em." Bertie suggested.
Patrick let out an inquisitive hum. "Well, she did say she picked a prankster fer the final cast, so perhaps this lass would rub off well on 'em?" He asked.
Bertie nodded in agreement. "Aye, let's take a chance on 'er then. But let's watch 'er Audition Tape first." He agreed before clicking on the Audition Tape. The Audition Tape depicted Samantha entering from the right side of the scene, introducing herself and explaining she and her sister would love to join Total Drama, feeling confident they were gonna able to get a laugh out of the other contestants before letting her sister Miranda tell something about herself, putting on the blue nightcap as she let out a gasp and her hair covered her left eye as Miranda took control. Her voice changing to another one, Miranda explained that joining Total Drama was more Samantha's idea but that she saw potential in the idea and before signing off with a creepy tone of voice, she let Samantha take control again as she took off the nightcap with another gasp and her hair uncovered her left eye again.
As the Audition Tape ended, Patrick and Bertie thought about it, looking at each other and nodding to each other in approval as Bertie dragged Samantha/Miranda's file to the "Accepted" folder.
"Alright, let's move on to me pick fer a lad..." Bertie muttered as he scrolled through the list once more and clicked on a file titled Remus Maximus. The file loaded a picture of a Caucasian male that was fairly tall at 5 foot and 11 inches and a muscular build, but not to the point of standing out. His dark brown hair was wavy and parted on the right side while his eyes were dark green. He also had a faint scar on the back of his hand that stemmed from dropping a wood burner on it when he was a child, and his outfit consisted of a red toga.
Bertie laughed as he read through the file. "Ah, this one's comedy gold, Patrick. Look at this, says 'ere he's a Roman warrior lookin' ta claim the glory o' the Roman Empire and 'as done all kinds o' stupid shit related ta bein' a Roman warrior. Ye think we should accept the lad just fer shits an' giggles?" He asked Patrick who also proceeded to look at the file and laugh as he read it.
"Roughen me rainbows, this lad's indeed comedy gold! Aye, let's accept him just fer shits an' giggles, we don't even need ta check 'is Audition Tape ta know this lad's gonna be good!" Patrick told Bertie who proceeded to drag Remus' file to the "Accepted" folder. One could argue that Patrick wasn't taking this whole thing seriously at all, but this was as serious as he could be.
"Alright, lads! Now it's my turn ta pick two contestants!" Nigel grinned as he switched places with Bertie at the laptop. The short Irish male proceeded to scan through the e-mails Patrick received and clicked on a file that read Melissa Arroyo. Nigel and Patrick were greeted with a picture of a Filipino-American girl of average height, being around 5 foot and 6 inches tall with a skinny but slightly muscular build and long brown hair that went to her shoulders but was kept together in a ponytail. Her eyes were blue in color and had Asian features, and her skin was tanned. Finally, she had some scars on her legs due to the activities she took part in along with a beauty mark under her right eye. Her outfit consisted of some skinny jeans with a front cut on the kneecaps along with a black t-shirt worn over a San Diego State hoodie. She also had a small diamond nose ring and an earring on her left ear.
"Ooh, this one's a jockette, but she ain't a stereotypical jerky one, 'cause she's both friendly an' nerdy, sayin' she gets good grades in school an' has a track coach named Anthony Morales that gave 'er a competitive nature. She sounds like she could be o' the biggest physical threats." Nigel remarked.
Patrick nodded in agreement. "I should challenge 'er ta a runnin' match sometime durin' the contestants' down time on the show." He smirked.
"She's goin' on the "Accepted" list?" Nigel asked Patrick to make sure he understood where the soon to be host was going with this.
"Aye, put 'er on the list." Patrick nodded again as Nigel nodded back and dragged Melissa's file to the "Accepted" folder. Nigel then let out a hum as he went through the e-mails again and clicked on a file titled Rowan Hawk. Rowan was depicted as a relatively tall Caucasian male, being 5 foot and 8 inches tall with a lean and athletic build without being too muscular. His black hair was short and somewhat spiky while his eyes were green. He also had a scar across one of his eyes, though it appeared to be a fake one. He wore a typical all black ninja outfit along with a mask and boots, though his full head wasn't covered by the mask.
"Ooh, this one's a ninja! Gotta love the quirky types, right, Patrick?" Nigel turned to Patrick with a smile.
"Ye can say that again, Nigel! This one should be fun, but let's check out 'is Audition Tape just ta be sure!" Patrick replied as he clicked on the Audition Tape included with the file. The Audition Tape showed a camera scanning through a forest to find Rowan before the whole area filled up with smoke and Rowan appeared once the smoke cleared. The ninja introduced himself to the camera before proceeding to cut down a pole with a katana and signing off his Audition Tape.
"Ye think the producers will allow 'im onto the show?" Nigel asked Patrick.
"As long as he doesn't go 'round swingin' that katana at everythin' in sight, he should be good. Put 'im on the list." Patrick ordered Nigel, who did as he was told and dragged Rowan's file to the "Accepted" folder.
"Alright, now fer me picks!" Liam grinned as Nigel made place for him at the laptop, and Liam scrolled through Patrick's inbox before clicking on a file that read Samantha "Sam" Dakota. Her file opened up to a pale skinned girl standing at 5 foot and 6 inches who was begrudgingly having her photo taken. She had a fit and sexy hourglass type body, and her pale blond hair was short and blowzy while her eyes were purple, which got Patrick and Liam's interest. She had a few tattoos across her body, including an angry skull on her right wrist, blue lightning bolts on her left shoulder, a magic sword on her back and a pink little butterfly on her chest. She wore a black and violet sweater over a purple t-shirt along with blue jeans and black boots.
"Aaaah, this lass should be fun too! She's yer typical tomboy with anger issues an' she's only signin' up fer the show 'cause her brother did it fer her! Says 'ere she's gay too, so she could be a nice addition fer yer show's LGBT market, I'd say!" Liam remarked as Patrick took a look at the file.
"Aye, she could indeed be fun! Says 'ere that her dad's a police officer who wanted ta do father son things with 'er brother, but 'cause he's a mummy's boy who didn't take interest in manly crap, he instead did it with 'is daughter who did show interest in it! I should get in the ring with 'er sometime fer some boxin' in 'tween challenges!" Patrick grinned as he allowed Liam to drag Sam's file into the "Accepted" folder.
Finally, Liam clicked on the file that was right underneath Sam's, and it was titled Samuel "Sammy" Dakota. His file depicted him as a tall and muscular pale skinned male standing at 6 foot and 1 inch with short pale blond hair and purple eyes, which again got Liam and Patrick's interest. Sammy's outfit consisted of a pink t-shirt with short and thight farmer trousers and pink loafers.
"This is Sam's twin brother that signed 'imself an' 'is sister up fer the show. Says 'ere he's gay like 'is sister, although unlike 'er, he's more of a tomgirl who likes ballet dancing, fashion, hairstyles and unicorns, that kinda stuff. I bet if he were ta see ya, he'd definitely wanna make out with ye, Patrick." Liam teased Patrick with a shit eating grin.
Patrick rolled his eyes but laughed anyway. "Oh, please, Liam. Fuck off." He replied before thinking about it. "Aye, let's put Sammy on the show too. Twins competin' together on Total Drama should bring us some nice television." He agreed as Liam nodded and dragged Sammy's file to the "Accepted" folder.
"Well, that's a wrap fer tonight, lads! We've picked me contestants fer the next Total Drama season, so let's have ourselves some pints!" Patrick grinned as him and his mates began enjoying their beers.
A few hours later, a car was driving through the streets of Belfast, Northern Ireland to get to the pub Patrick and his mates had spent the night at. Patrick had gotten drunk and was unable to drive himself, so he called some of the interns that the producers hired to pick him up.
Driving the car was Jon Mastroianni, a Caucasian male standing a 6 foot straight with a muscular build, a bald head and a black soul patch beard along with plenty of tattoos spread across his upper chest, upper back and arms. His outfit consisted of a black buttoned up shirt with white buttons, blue jeans and silver shoes.
Sitting next to him in the passenger seat was Melissa Robinson, a Caucasian female who was quite tall at 6 foot and 9 inches with a thin and lanky build and long and messy dark brown hair that reached her shoulders with blue highlights and greenish-blue eyes who had a mechanical right arm, a scarring on her right shoulder and freckles on her cheeks. She wore blue circular glasses and black welding goggles around her neck with a dark green shirt with a Space Invaders symbol on it underneath a dark gray hoodie jacket with black pockets, blue jeans, a brown tool belt and red Converse shoes with blue stripes.
Finally, sitting in the back of the car was Anika Tesnim, a South Asian or Indian young woman standing at 5 foot and 7 inches who was stocky with a D cup breast size and had dark brown, nearly black hair that was styled in two ponytails, but if she were to let her hair down, it would be long and wavy and flow to the middle of her back, and she also had bangs that stop just above her thick eyebrows, parted down the middle. Her monolid eyes were chocolate brown in color, and her skin was a deep bronze tone. She had dimples on her face and a burn mark on her neck that stemmed from a punishment given to her as a child by her parents. Her outfit consisted of a light blue cardigan over a pastel yellow ruffled blouse, light blue washed up capris and white strapped sandals. Finally, she wore beaded orange bracelets on her wrists and an orange headband in her hair.
Jon shook his head as he drove towards the pub Patrick was at. "I don't like to speak ill of our bosses, but Mr. Patrick sure left his common sense at home when he decided to drink more than he should have." The bald headed male remarked with a soft sigh.
Anika nodded in agreement. "If he keeps getting drunk like this, he won't be going to heaven when his soul passes. I've had friends who saw relatives pass away from overindulging in alcoholic spirits, so I speak from experience." She remarked.
"H-Hey, we shouldn't be so hard on M-Mr. O'Niall just for drinking more alcohol than is good for him...A-At least he was smart enough to call us to come pick him up instead of getting b-behind the wheel himself and risk getting into an a-accident..." Melissa chimed in her thoughts.
Jon and Anika nodded at Melissa's words. "You're right, Mel. We shouldn't be so hard on the lad for it." Jon agreed as the three of them arrived at the pub and saw Patrick sitting on a stool outside the pub. Patrick watched as he saw the car pull up to him and the passenger seat window rolled down.
"Hey, Mr. O'Niall. We're here to pick you up just as you requested." Jon told Patrick.
"Ah, thank ye so much fer bein' me chauffeur fer tonight...Let's head back ta me dad's house an' call it a night..." Patrick said, slurring his words due to his drunken state as he stumbled over to the car and got inside. Once Patrick had his seatbelt on, Jon took off for the O'Niall residence.
"S-So...D-Did you manage to get around to picking your batch of contestants for the new season yet, M-Mr. O'Niall...?" Melissa asked Patrick curiously.
"Aye, surree...I sure did...Got 4 lasses an' 4 lads like the producers asked me to..." Patrick slurred his words some more.
"That's good to hear, Mr. O'Niall...Once you get home, you're going to bed immediately and I will have an anti-seizure tablet and a glass of water waiting for you at your bedside in the morning." Anika told Patrick as she was sitting next to him.
"Thanks, lassie...Yer a good nurse, fer sure..." Patrick spoke before passing out and began to snore lightly.
"Great, he's sawing logs back there." Jon rolled his eyes.
"M-Maybe literally if he's doing it in his dreams." Melissa lightly giggled.
Hello again, everyone! Alexneushoorn here, back at you again with the second cast reveal! This time, it was Patrick's turn to pick the next 8 contestants, and I got a lot of good submissions again, though just like the first cast reveal, I had to narrow it down to the 8 I liked the most!
