welcome one and all, to a power ranger story mixing power rangers lore fop and loud house. I call it D.A.Y.S or Disregarding All You Said. in this story I have taken inspiration from Power Rangers: Legacy by Mr. ChubbySnorlax619 for the opening premise. said premise is that the Loud sisters and Lincoln's friends all have been chosen to be power rangers, however, in his story, they were all from an unadapted/yet-to-be-adapted season of Sentai called Kyuranger. in my story it will be from various seasons of the show, this will be explained later.

Chapter one: fight or flight.
ROYAL WOODS MALL - FOOD COURT - p.o.v. ?
if one were to say that life plays favorites, I would agree with that statement with the caveat that you can still give life the middle finger... I guess my point is that you always have a choice, lay down and die, or stand up till you can no longer breathe. that mentality is how I ended up embedded in a wall after passing through three others... let me start over
TEN MINUTES BEFORE
I was walking up to the mall with a package to be delivered to someone in the mall. the only way to know who it is for is by looking at a compass in my other hand, I sigh and head in before I get annoyed with my orders. as I am looking at the compass I accidentally bump Into a teenage girl, she turns around and yells "Hey! watch where you are going loser! you almost hurt my throwing arm!" I just nod after getting to my feet and continue on my way. but before I can get fully past her, I notice that she has a belt that looks familiar, it has a buckle with a coin with the image of a t-rex on it. I just pretend not to notice e and she shrugs before pulling out her phone and stars talking to someone. as I look back at the compass I hear her say
"yeah right, we have better thing to do right now than look after HIM!" she said the last word with such disdain that it felt like she was spitting poison. whatever the person on the line said must have pissed her off, cause she starts rambling, and I just focus on walking. after a short time I come to the mall's food court, my belly growls and I sigh and shake my head before I look at the compass and find that my target is near.
I point the compass around until it settles on a white-haired teenage boy in an orange hoodie and black jeans who is sitting all alone looking depressed, I move over and sit next to him and ask, "are you ok? he looks up and had a smile on his face until he saw my face, then he frowns "sorry thought you were someone else." I just laugh and say. " happens to us all, waiting on friends I presume." I raised my eyebrow at that last bit. he looks surprised but quickly narrows his eyes at me " how do you know that! are you spying on me or something!" I shake my head and gesture to the other plates for food around the table, he just looks bashful and then looks sad again, " my name is Lincoln loud and today is my birthday, I turned sixteen exactly an hour ago, and none of my friends or family have shown up, at least my family I can understand, they have events today. but not one of my friends showed up or even texted me!"
I just nod my head, and as I speak, my stomach growls again. I bow my head and say "this may sound insensitive, but may I have some of the food?" he just shrugs and says, "take as much as you like, not like anyone else will." after getting said consent I tear into the food, after a few minutes of rapid eating I wipe my face with a napkin and say, " well it all bad, happy birthday!" and I reach into my pouch for the package, but as I'm about to hand it to him, an explosion goes off and knocks us away from each other. I look up to see that past the burning tables and unconscious civilians, a group of monsters had shown up while I was talking to Lincoln. I was about to stand when a bunch of light appears in front of the villains, and then the typical role call began
"ferocious as the t-rex, mighty Morphin red!
calm as nature, mystic force blue!
thunder and lightning are not so frightening, ninja storm crimson and navy!
let's rock the house, ninja steel gold!
disappear like the stone age, dino thunder black!
shift into turbo drive, turbo ranger yellow!
crystalized power, zeo ranger red!
dino power, graphite of dino fury!
time force, quantum power!
mess with the bull get the horns, wild force black!"
as they finished their intro I made my way over to Lincoln and pull a table up to shield us. as we look over the table the fight began, and then devolved into madness when the team started arguing almost immediately. I sigh and remove the package from my bag once again as the rangers are easily captured and then demorphed.
as I turn to the teen next to me you could see the heartbreak in his eyes, it was clear he knew them. I shove the box into his chest, he looks at me and I give a cheeky grin and say "happy birthday, I'll explain how they work if we survive!" before he can get over his shock I vault over the table and whistle loudly. the monsters look at me and one laughs " oooh your edgy, let's what you got kid, all these rangers couldn't take us down, so what makes you think you can!?" I look at the tied-up bunch, and then recognize the t-rex belted girl from before. "yeah... it is clear they have no team synergy at all, a toddler could have beat them, heck they beat themselves. but now that they are out of the fight, I guess I have to step up to the plate and finish their mess." the monsters just continue to laugh.
I reach into my bag and pull out a short sword, they go quiet as they see the blade seems to absorb light. "ah! so yous with them! I will enjoy crushin you." the monster screams as he lunges at me throwing a sloppy punch, I simply side-step and swing, and as the blade goes into his body he starts to turn to sand that then gets sucked into the sword. then before I could bring myself around to parry, I was hit in the back with a high-grade explosive. it sent me flying, resulting in the state I'm in now.
PRESENT
I look up from the floor to see the second monster grinning at me with more explosives ready, I jump up to my feet and take a stance with my blade at my hip with the blade held level. at the time the monster throws the explosive it seems that I disappear and reappear behind it. the fuse falls off the device and the monster turns to dust as I point my blade toward it. after absorbing that monster as well the third monster and the leader steps back and plead's " please, don't harm me, I didn't know someone from the tribes would be here!" I sheathe my blade and turn around before speaking, "if you are truly sorry, you will leave now and not return, you know the ancient law as do I. no harassing the normies." the monster smirks from behind and reaches for a knife on his belt, he then grabbed Lincoln and pressed it to his neck.
when the tied-up people see the white-haired boy they scream out his name before the villain shouts "Shut up! now, you from the tribe, you better grab all the Morphers from the others!" I just laugh, he presses the knife closer to Lincoln's neck, regaining my composure I speak to Lincoln " it is gonna be ok, you feel that yeah? the heartbeat in your chest? the thrum of blood through your veins? focus on that and repeat after me."
he looks at me and I begin.
" lunar warrior, moon beast jade rabbit!"
as he repeated those words a white light appeared on his right wrist showing a rabbit on the moon. before he is engulfed in the same light. when that dies down the man staggers backward, what was just a second ago stood a new ranger in all white with red eyes painted on the visor. he looks down at himself and starts fanboying. while everyone was focused on that I quickly eliminated the boss. when that is done I cut the rope holding the others, they don't even see me and rush toward Lincoln, who was just powering down. when they reach him he refuses to make eye contact with them and shit was about to hit the fan when the t-rex girl walks up looking annoyed. she looks pissed off like someone stole her new puppy. she balls her fist but before she could punch him I intercepted it and speak "sorry, can't allow you to harm the rookie, so you need to back off." Lincoln is still looking down but speaks low " so... this is what you were all 'Busy' with, huh. this is what was so important you could not be bothered to talk to me! you were so busy at the MALL, that you can't stop by and say... oh I don't know... Happy birthday!?" at that most of the others looked shocked, two looked down in shame and two looked on with smirks. one of the two who smirked, the t-rex girl, says " oh come on link, no one would want you when they could have me! just ask your 'girlfriend'." he just looks over at the other one who smirked, and said girl just shrugs. he then looks at the rest. most of the team just looks away, when he looks at the last two, African American boy and a pale gothic girl. the girl just shrinks back and tries to disappear. the boy rubs his arm nervously and speaks " look, man... I think that you need to never speak to me again." the rest pile on with the agreement. after all that the poor guy was kneeling on the ground clutching his chest. the 'rangers' left until it was me, the goth, and him.
by this point he is looking at the ground and trying to hold in his tears, the goth chick speaks slowly "I think you will be a great ranger, brother." he is taken aback by her words, "thank you lucy, that means a lot." she just nods and disappears. I walk up to him and place my hand on his shoulder, " well if you are free, I got packages to deliver to your future teammates, so would you like to come with me?" he looks at me baffled, " you want to hang out with me? after you heard my ' friends ' cut me off?" just look at him seriously, " some people are idiots, some are crazy, all people are opinionated. I tend to ignore what people tell me until I can verify their claim. and given the fact that you were the person I was to entrust the jade rabbit to... I think you are a good person." at this I start to walk away with him close behind
