"Ben and Ciara spent last Christmas Eve hanging their ornaments together; this year, they would get to; hang one for their son."
"Ben and Ciara were finishing wrapping presents while Bo was sleeping."
" Can you believe Bo; is going to get his ornament this year?"
" I know last year I was saying; how we would be hanging up another ornament for our little one last year, and; this year, we are actually doing it."
" I can't believe Bo is already seven months old; he's growing; so fast."
"I know he's rolling; from his back to his tummy and sitting up, I think I saw him trying to get on his knees and crawl."
"Pretty; soon, he will be trying to stand up by holding onto the furniture."
"Ben and Ciara finished wrapping presents just as Bo woke up from his nap."
"Babe, can you finish putting these under the tree? I'm going to; go get Bo."
"Ben finished putting all the presents under the tree and got Bo's toys ready so they could play on the floor."
"Ciara brought Bo; out to the living room and placed him on the floor next to Ben."
"Alright, I have laundry I have to get done; are you boys going to be okay for a little while?"
"We will be fine, right, Bo?"
"Ben tickled little Bo's tummy and listened to him laugh."
"Ciara looked at her boys and shook her head, then went to pick up the clothes she forgot in the bedroom."
"Babe, are your work clothes in here?"
"I left them on the chair by the door."
"Ciara grabbed the clean clothes from the dryer and put the next load in; she grabbed the basket and headed back to the living room."
"Ciara sat on the couch and folded the clothes while she watched Ben and Bo playing on the mat on the floor."
"Ben held up one of Bo's stuffed toys and made a funny voice; Bo looked at his dad and started laughing at him."
"Is daddy being funny, Bo?"
"Bo looked over to where Ciara was and stretched his hand out to her."
"I think he wants you to join us on the floor."
"Mommy is busy, buddy; I'll play in a minute, okay?"
" Bo didn't like the answer she gave him and started to cry."
"He is not happy with that answer; come and play with him; I'll finish folding the clothes."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I know how much of a mama's boy he is."
"Ciara sat on the floor with Bo and started playing with him. Are you ready for your first Christmas Eve at great grandma Julie's house?"
"She is going to have something special for you, Bo."
"I have one, daddy has one, and now you will have one too."
"Yep, and every year, you will get to hang it on the tree."
"Ben, Ciara, and Bo all got ready to head to Doug and Julie's house."
"When they got there, Allie was there with Henry and Shawn, and Belle were; there too." Julie had just finished bringing out freshly baked cookies, and Ben didn't hesitate to take one."
"Ciara took Bo to sit on the couch next to Allie as she watched Henry play on the floor with his blocks."
"After Ben helped Julie bring out more; decorations, he helped Shawn put them up while Doug sat in his chair and watched his family interact with each other."
"Ciara brought Bo over to grandpa Doug and placed him on his lap."
"Doug bounced his knee a little, and Bo smiled at him."
"Ciara took a few pictures of Doug holding Bo when he started to fuss Ciara, picked him up, and cuddled him."
"Once it was time to hang up the ornaments on the tree Julie took a box out and handed it to Ciara; she opened the box and pulled an ornament that looked just like theirs, red with baby blocks and Bo's name on it."
"Ciara and Ben looked at each other and smiled; Ben held Bo, and Ciara showed Bo his ornament."
"This is for you, buddy."
"Bo patted his little hand against it and laughed."
"I think he likes it, grandma; thank you."
"Ciara; gave her grandma a hug, and everyone started putting their ornaments on the tree."
"Ciara and Ben stood by the tree with Bo and helped him place it on the tree; Belle held Bo while they hung theirs, and Bo and Hope's then gave each other a kiss."
"After all the ornaments were on the tree, Henry went back to playing on the floor with his blocks and brought Ben and Shawn with him."
"Belle's phone started to ring, so she kissed Bo on the head and handed him back to Ciara."
"Ciara sat with Bo on her lap next to Allie, and; Bo smiled at Allie, and he held out his arms towards her; Ciara smiled and handed him over to Allie; she smiled at him and tickled him, making him laugh."
"Just as Ben and Shawn put the last of the blocks on the tower, Henry knocked it over and started laughing."
"That wasn't very nice Henry Allie said from the couch."
"Henry just laughed at his mom and started playing with one of his trucks."
"While Allie was holding Bo, Ciara found herself standing under the mistletoe; Ben noticed and walked over to where she was."
"Hey, did you have fun playing with the blocks you guys built quite the tower?"
"I did, but then I noticed that you were standing over here under the mistletoe, and I had to join you."
"Ciara looked up and realized she was standing under the mistletoe; before she could say anything, Ben leaned down and kissed her."
"I've been wanting to do that since we got here."
" Then you better take advantage of it while you can."
"Ben leaned in and kissed Ciara again but was interrupted by Shawn."
" I don't mean to interrupt, but your son is crying."
"Ben and Ciara placed their foreheads together before Ciara went to get Bo from Allie."
"He was happy a minute ago; then he just started crying."
"It's okay; he's; just getting tired, isn't that right, Bo?"
"Come here, sweetheart."
"As soon as Ciara had Bo in her arms, he rested his head on her shoulder; she kissed his head and rubbed his back to calm him down."
"Ben, I think it's time to go, Bo is getting tired, and we have a big morning tomorrow."
"I think you are right; let me just say bye to Allie and Henry and tell your brother we will see him and Belle at our place tomorrow morning."
"Can you grab my purse and coat; I have the diaper bag; I'm going to put Bo in the car."
"Julie kissed Bo, then opened the door for Ciara and gave her a quick hug as she walked out the door."
"Thank you for everything tonight, grandma; we had a great time."
"Ben grabbed Ciara's stuff, plus the gifts, and headed for the door."
"Benjamin, before you go, I packed you up; some cookies to take home."
"Thank you, Julie, for everything; he hugged her and followed Ciara to the car."
"When they got home, Ben carried Bo into the apartment, and Ciara grabbed the gifts and diaper bag."
"Thank god we changed him before we left; now we just have to put him in his crib."
"I told you this would be easier; let's put him down, then we can cuddle on the couch and watch a Christmas movie."
"Ben and Ciara kissed Bo goodnight and, put him to bed, made sure his bear was with him and changed into their pajamas; Ben made some popcorn, grabbed a couple of bottles of water the cookies Julie sent home with him, and cuddled under a blanket on the couch with his wife."
"I can't believe your grandma gave me cookies to bring home."
"Baby, she knows how much you love them."
"She called me Benjamin."
"She called you that last year when you were eating cookies and asked if you wanted another one."
"I'm just not used to it, I guess."
"Do you want me to start calling you Benjamin?"
"No, Ben is just fine."
"Ciara started laughing and poking Ben, teasing him and calling him Benjamin."
"Alright, let's just watch this movie."
"Fine, you win; I'll stick with Ben."
"Thank you."
"Ciara just laughed and; cuddled closer to her husband and rested her head on his chest as they watched the movie."
"Ben missed most of the movie because he was too busy looking at Ciara."
"Babe, why are you looking at me like that?"
"Just thinking about how lucky I am to have you; I love you so much, Ciara; without; you, I wouldn't have this life with you and our son."
" I feel just as lucky to have you."
"Ciara leaned in and started kissing Ben; Ben turned off the tv, picked Ciara up, carried her to the bedroom, and laid her on the bed."
"After they made love, Ben held Ciara in his arms as she fell asleep."
"As Ciara drifted off, she said, Merry Christmas, Benjamin."
"Ben looked down at his wife and smiled; he shook his head then whispered in her ear, Merry Christmas, my love kissed her cheek and snuggled closer to her as he drifted off to sleep."
"Bo was so tired from all the excitement at Julie's house that he slept through the night."
