A Long time ago...in a Galaxy far far away...
Across a very mysterious planet is a mountainous forest with snow covering the trees and the ground. Deep in the forest is a group of deer feasting on some of the plant life on the ground without a worry or care. Little did they know, that they were being hunted by someone...someone that once was known as the God of War but is now known as the God of Peace...Kratos. Kratos had his bow aimed towards a lone buck that separated itself from the group. With one huge inhale Kratos fired his bow hitting the buck as it's body landed with a thud.
Kratos could be seen then carrying the buck over his shoulders towards a stone covered door way. He put his hand inside his satchel and pulled out a seed to unlock the door and enter inside his new home inside the tree of the world. Kratos entered the house where inside was his now oldest and headless friend...Mimir...smartest man across the nine realms.
"Ah welcome back brother! I see you brought some food home with ya," said a very excited Mimir.
Kratos placed the buck on the table before looking at Mimir asking, "Any news?"
"From Atreus...I'm afraid not brother. I wouldn't worry though I'm sure the lad will return soon," answered Mimir.
Kratos turned back towards the buck preparing the butcher the animal until he heard a knock on the door. Kratos turned towards the door heading to it's direction before opening it to see it was Freya.
"Hello Kratos...it's been a while," said Freya with a smile.
Kratos extended is arm out in friendship as Freya clutched it giving her a smile in return to which Mimir commented, "Ah welcome back your majesty...how is the stability of the nine realms?"
"Good so far, ever since Odin's death and you Kratos becoming the all-father...everything is as it should be."
"What brings you back here Freya...have you found Sindri?" asked Kratos.
Freya crossed her arms while shaking her head saying, "No, he hasn't been seen since Brok's funeral. I actually have a surprise for you Kratos."
With that Freya turned to her side and to Kratos's surprise was none other than is son...Atreus. The two looked at each other with smiles on their faces that only a father and a son could only share.
"Hello father," said Atreus.
The two immediately hugged which caused Mimir to let out a laugh saying, "Welcome back lad!"
"It's been some time Mimir! Glad to see you doing well," said Atreus with a smile.
Atreus and Freya then entered the house and sat down around the table to which Kratos asked Atreus, "How was your journey...were you able to find anymore giants?"
Atreus looked down in sadness as he answered, "No...I wasn't, but I made a huge discovery father! Were not the only world here."
"What do you mean by that lad?" asked Mimir.
"I mean that there's other worlds out there with different creatures, different people, and different gods."
"How do you know this?" asked Freya curiously.
"I've seen it...from a spirit...someone named...Revan."
Revan? Who was this? Many of those questions raced through the mind of Kratos and most importantly what did he want from his son?
"Who in the bloody hell is that lad?" asked Mimir.
"He was a powerful warrior from his time...he showed me everything and told me what is to come," answered Atreus.
"Which is what Atreus?" asked Kratos.
Before the conversation could continue, the door busted open to reveal Tyr as he walked mortally wounded towards the group with his arm cut off and burnt slice marks across his body with a huge hole in his chest.
"Tyr!" yelled out Freya.
Tyr collapsed as Kratos caught him with Freya trying to heal him but he stopped her by saying, "No...it's to late for me now."
"Who did this to you?" asked Kratos.
"It was a dark warrior clad in black armor with powers I have not seen before. He is leading an army right now attacking across the nine realms...I tried to stop him but he was to powerful."
Everyone looked at each other until Tyr tells Kratos with his last breath, "Kratos...he is coming for you."
With that Tyr passed away with his soul entering the gates of Heilheim. Freya had tears in her eyes as Kratos gently put Tyr's body down before looking up towards Atreus and Freya.
"Prepare for battle," was all Kratos needed to say.
Atreus and Freya stood up as they went to go arm themselves as Kratos entered his room putting on some upgrades for his nordic like clothes before grabbing the Blades of Chaos from the wall and the Leviathan axe from it's place. Kratos exited his room to pick up Mimir and strap his head to his belt before meeting up with Freya and atreus.
They exited the house and through the doorway into at least one of the worlds to see mass amounts of trees burning and collapsing and people's screams echoing throughout the forests. They looked up in the sky to see these flying machines gliding through the air firing what seemed to be green projectiles on the forest floor. Kratos peered over to see what seemed to be white armor soldiers shooting the same projectiles, only this time red colored, towards some midgard soldiers.
"Atreus, Freya, go across the other realms and help as many people as you can...I will find this dark warrior and put a stop to this," commanded Kratos.
Freya and Atreus nodded their heads and entered through the doorway while Kratos looked towards the direction of the soldiers running towards them.
Over at the soldier's position, two of them have their weapons pointed at a woman with two children trying to hid their faces into her chest sticking her arm out and pleading, "Please...have mercy."
Before the soldiers could do anything, they were knocked back by the leviathan axe as it rebounded back towards Kratos. Kratos stood in front of the woman and children giving them the chance to quickly run off. Kratos stared forward as more of these soldiers approached him aiming their weapons which caused Kratos to tell them, "I don't know who you all are or what you are looking for...but if you leave now...then your lives will be spared."
"Hold your fire," came a voice that sounded like a machine.
Kratos could feel the energy stretch the area then...it was dark and twisted filled with only hate and anger. He could hear a very loud and intimidating breath noise. The soldiers spread apart as a black armored man approached Kratos slowly. With each step Kratos could feel the power from this man and with each glance can see that this warrior looked a lot more machine than man.
"Kratos...that has to be the man that killed Tyr," said Mimir.
"Who are you...and what do you want here?" demanded Kratos.
The figure stopped in his tracks placing both hands on his belt before answering Kratos, "My name is of no concern to you...Ghost of Sparta. Yes, I know exactly who you are as you are the reason I'm here. Surrender to me...or your people will suffer Kratos."
Kratos stood there staring at this dark figure, would he comply with his demands or fight against this mysterious warrior. Before anything could happen, an arrow shot towards the figure but the figure was able to dodge out of the way only to lift his hand towards the direction of the shooter. Suddenly, someone choking could be heard as the shooter was lifted up in the air grasping his throat. To Kratos's shock and horror, it was Atreus.
"Atreus!" lashed out Kratos.
Kratos didn't hesitate as he immediately charged at the figure. The figure noticed Kratos coming and tossed Atreus towards some of the soldiers as they grabbed him. Kratos brought out the leviathan axe and went for a swing only to be blocked by the figures weapon. This weapon was some kind of sword only sticking out some sort of red beam but it was able to hold it's own against the axe.
The figure then shoved Kratos away and began to swing back at Kratos. Kratos would use the axe each time to block the warrior's swings and with each swing felt like a mighty blow...but Kratos still withheld this dark warrior's attack. The two eventually came face to face with the steam of the beamed weapon touching the metal of the axe blowing in the air.
"Peace has cost you your strength...victory has defeated you," taunted the dark warrior.
With that, the warrior broke the hold and with a mighty swing knocked the axe off Kratos's grip. Atreus saw this and worried for his father's safety began to try and change to his Bjorn form but was then hit with some sort of blue rings by one of the soldiers and all he could see then was darkness.
"Brother the boy!" yelled out Mimir.
Kratos looked over and saw Atreus on the ground. With that anger coursed through Kratos's body and with a mighty yell his spartan rage came through and he unleashed his Blades of Chaos. The figure deactivated his weapon and took a few steps back. Kratos began swinging like a wild man and to his sudden shock...the figure was dodging him with relative ease. It's only as if he was only mocking Kratos's efforts.
"I can sense your anger for me Spartan...use it for only your hatred can destroy me," again taunted the figure.
Kratos glared at his newfound adversary and with every fiber of his being unleashed all the rage he could. Swinging as fast and wild as he can, Kratos finally caught the figure in the shoulder.
The figure let out a groan before lashing out, "Enough, it is time to end this charade!"
The figure then lifted is hand up and to the shock of Kratos...he was lifted up in the air.
"What magic is this?" Was all Kratos could think before being flung into various trees and mountain formations. Kratos would catch peeks and see the figure waving his hand around as if he was directing where to throw Kratos.
After throwing Kratos around everywhere, the figure threw him as high as he could go only for Kratos to fall down and crash before the figures feet.
"Get up brother...get up!" encouraged a desperate Mimir.
Mimir was later put to rest by one of the soldiers who shot the same blue rings at Mimir's head. Kratos tried to get up only for his blurry vision to look upon the dark figure breathing down towards him.
"You are beaten...God of War," finished the figure.
With those being the last words of the dark figure to Kratos's ears...his visions went dark. The figure then walked away before telling one of the soldiers, "cage these two and bring them to my ship."
"What about the two women we captured?" asked one of the soldiers.
"Contact Moff Freeza and inform him that he now has two new additions to his...business."
The figure then began to walk away until he stopped where he was at before looking down and saying, "You have done well dwarf...you shall be well rewarded for your service to the Empire."
The dwarf turned out to be Sindri who was kneeling before the figure before raising his head up saying, "Thank you...Lord Vader."
The figure, now known as Vader, and Sindri then began making their way towards a shuttle as behind them were Kratos and Atreus knocked out in some sort of cage. Behind them was the forest set ablaze with each flame now creating the words far above.
