Next round will be Clark vs Gaara and Sasuke vs Naruto
Steel vs sand:
Clark is not exactly confident how to win this fight without showing his inhuman powers against Gaara.
" This should be interesting. " Iruka sensai commented.
Other ninja next to him asked why.
" These are the two guys who reached end of forest of death without single scratch on their body. " Iruka explained.
Naruto is really happy that it's Clark who is fighting with Gaara, no one else.
Right now anyone can tell Gaara is not stable. He remember the words .
" I need to feel alive . "
Naruto knew what those words mean.
Gaara only can feel alive when he kills .
" Don't you think we should tell someone about Gaara? " Shikamaru asked.
Naruto smiled little . " Clark can handle himself. "
Seeing confidence of Naruto, shikamaru think he made right call, withdraw from fight against Clark.
It's really surprising that Clark is finalist. Also with Naruto.
No one expected these two will end up in final.
" Let's watch the match . "
Gaara and Clark stood in front of each other.
Gaara is with his sand, Clark with folded hands.
For a moment no one moved while audience are waiting for someone to do something.
Looks like Gaara is frustrated by Clark's stillness.
" Sand burial " Gaara waved his hands .
Huge amount of sand flew around Clark.
Everyone thought match is over , since there is no way Clark escaped it.
But trained eye can see what happened.
Clark just jumped in air, leaving log in his place, substitution jutsu. sand didn't find it's target.
Everyone is looking at smiling Clark, next to sand .
But immediately sand moved it's own. But it's no use, Clark simply used substitution again , leaving smiling Clark exactly next to where sand attacked .
Sand tried to attack again and again.
It's always substitution jutsu. Always smiling Clark next sand target.
" Doesn't he have any fancy ninjutsu? " Sakura asked.
Naruto smiled. " He is just waiting for his time . "
Sakura know that Naruto and Clark used to hang out in academy. Even though they usually won't seen hanging out together much, because Naruto is loner, it's always noticable that Clark is only one who talked with Naruto .
Gaara widened his sand to cover more ground, still sand never found it's target. It's always substitution and stupid grin of Clark next to sand .
Next moment sand is turned into tentacles to attack multiple times if he substitute.
Clark muttered multi chakra clone jutsu with doing weird hand signs and kryptonian language no one else understand or able to hear because he just whispered.
Next moment three clones that are formed and molded into solid by chakra appeared in front of Clark.
Clones charged towards Gaara, they all opened scroll from their belt, summoned sword and shield.
Gaara sand moved like tentacles, fighting three clones at same time.
" What kind of clone is that? " Guy is surprised and also little angry that his own student is hiding his abilities.
" They are solid but not disappearing when they got hurt , unlike Naruto. " Kakashi said.
" Do you know Clark can do that? " Sakura asked Naruto.
" No. It's new . " Naruto always thought he has edge against Clark in this shadow clone jutsu but Clark's jutsu is way more better than his shadow clones.
After almost ten minutes of fight, Gaara frustrated and cried sand needle storm.
Wave needles aimed towards clones and Clark.
All the clones stuck by needles like porcupine while Clark has large 7 feet solid steel shield in hand.
Next moment, Clark clones stood next to him, small wooden logs have sand needles buried in them in their place.
" How? " Sakura surprised. It's not like everyone can do substitution jutsu that easy.
As soon as you know that enemy attack coming, you have to switch places within very limited moment of time while building chakra.
Doing this with three clones while he summoned his shield, it's amazing.
Others may not noticed but Gaara who is fighting can understand Clark is toying with him which is actually making him furious.
It's his stupid grin that frustrating Gaara.
Gaara released huge wave of sand that turned into more than ten tentacles, attacked Clark.
Within flash, long ten feet wooden staff appearee in his hand, embed with his chakra , able to withstand sand tentacles.
Clark without moving much, he defended against the sand tentacles.
" Wow. His movements are too good for genin. " Kakashi said, trying observe his movements.
Clark has to say Gaara is fast so is he.
The staff movements are too fast, for normal eye, it look like disk, almost like chakra disk.
Gaara increased his chakra to make sand attack strong but no matter what he do, simple wooden staff is not breaking, blocking every attack.
Immediately sand tentacles turned into waves , buried him.
Gaara knew something is wrong. His sand didn't find the target. Clark just stood on staff with single leg in middle of sandstorm, with his stupid grin.
For his surprise, the staff also didn't break. Clark jumped, walking on wall.
Gaara knew these normal attacks won't effect him no more.
Gaara raised into air , standing on sand , started shooting sand like shuriken.
Clark simply dodged them , walking against gravity, immediately summoned shield.
" How is he making his weapons this strong? " Temari wondered. She never thought Gaara will be pushed to his limits by simple genin with simple tricks.
Next moment Clark's shield raised in air, Clark jumped on it for everyone surprise.
The fight went on air, rather than land.
Everyone eyes widened seeing how this fight turned.
They all wanted to watch uchiha fight before, wanted this fight to end immediately.
Clark summoned another shield and staff in hands, defending himself with wave of sand tentacles.
" Why is he not using kunai or sword ? " Sakura asked.
" He doesn't want to hurt Gaara . " Naruto replied with smile.
Sakura and shikamaru looked at him like he is mad. It's chunin exam, knock out is not always possible without hurting opponent .
Temari and kankuro can see Gaara is loosing his patience and chakra.
It's going to happen earlier than they expected.
Clark has seen Gaara has his ultimate defence. He infused little more chakra on his staff, took opening hit him on jaw.
The sand armour chipped where Clark staff connected.
Next moment, immediately barrage of strikes connected against Gaara's jaw .
Gaara is surprised by sudden pain. He removed his armour and surrounded sand around like ultimate defence globe.
There is eye formed with his chakra to look outside.
Clark moved forward to attack, immediately sand spikes came forward to attack him.
Clark has shield to defend.
Clark tested Gaara's sand shield with his staff with not so powerful strike.
Clark can see every time he came close, sand spikes started attacking.
Clark induced little more chakra , attacked again and again but Gaara's sand shield is too strong.
Clark really don't want to use his super strength or super chakra but not sure what else to do, his defence is too good unless he reveal some strong ninjutsu.
Clark moved backwards few yards away, opened scroll, summoned more than twelve feet long bow and arrows are coming from scroll endlessly.
Clark fired arrow after arrow , each one hitting with more and more force until more than five arrows dug deep into sand globe.
Clark is careful, not to hit Gaara, used his penetrating vision to locate where Gaara is.
Clark summoned blunt staff and hit his target, weakest spot , making his sand shild crack.
Clark just moved fast, hit it with more force, connecting against Gaara's jaw.
Outside people, all happened fast, one minute Clark is fight sand globe, next moment it broke and let out inhuman cry from it.
Clark moved back with surprise when his hand felt like stuck with something.
Clark never seen anything like that. It's like large animal hand with claw , made out of sand with weird symbols.
It's Gaara, some weird creature is getting formed from him.
What kind is of jutsu it is? Clark thought.
Clark able to hear words of Temari and Kankuro.
" Gaara is actually hurt. " Temari wondered.
" It's too soon. He can't control in his state . " Kankuro clearly scared.
But Gaara took deep breath and absorbed that creature into him.
Clark can see Gaara is really tired, almost used entire chakra.
Clark is ready to fight, finish with single blow but Gaara didn't attack.
Moreover something is wrong at audience, almost everyone is stopped cheering.
In mean time, Temari and Kankuro took Gaara and escaped, Clark is not sure why.
But Clark didn't care. He ran towards audience but suddenly there is some disturbance at Hokage seat. The other Kage attacked third Hokage .
Clark knew Third hokage is their main target, he ran towards them.
He reached lot faster than ambu black ops.
He has to use his powers now, he found a mask of ambu , put it on . He released chakra around his body so it's like white armour.
