A/N hey everyone I'm back with another TLK/TLG holiday fanfic this time they celebrate thanksgiving this is on-shot kind of like what I did on Halloween it's the same thing and I'll do one for Christmas and New Year's as well so I hope you guys like this and HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!
Chapter 1. Celebrating Thanksgiving
It early evening Sarabi and Zira and Sarafena and Nirmala and Nala and Kiara and Vintani and Rami were all in the kitchen making thanksgiving dinner Janna and Uru were sitting at the table visiting while Mufasa,Scar,Simba, Kion Nuka Surak and Baliyo watching NFL football it's the New York Giants vs Dallas Cowboys the Cowboys were leading in the score
Who do you guys think is going to win this thanksgiving day game? Mufasa asked
I have no idea dad Simba replied
Yeah I don't know it's uh it's a tough one Kovu added
My bet is the giants Nuka replied
Mine to Bailyo replied
Me three Kion added
Dream on guys it's going to be the Cowboys that win this game Surak said triumphantly
What about you Uncle Scar? Who do you thinks going to win? Simba asked curiously
To be perfectly honest I don't care about who wins this football game Scar replied
Then why are you watching it then dad? Nuka asked
Yeah dad why are you watching it anyway if you don't care who wins? Kovu added

The Cowboys make another touchdown to which Surak smirks happily and sits back Scar rolled his eyes while Mufasa shakes his head and Simba Nuka Kovu Kion and Bailyo chuckled
Hey uncle Scar do you like any sports? Kion asked
Well there's one sport that I might enjoy Scar replied
Really what is it? Surak asked curious
I think I know what sport this is Mufasa said smirking at his little brother

Softball? Kion asked smirking at his great uncle

Nope Soccer my favorite sport is Soccer Scar said
Really? Nuka Kovu and Simba replied in unison
Yes really my baby brother loves Soccer he played it through his schooldays ever since elementary school if I remember correctly he would have made it to pros he was that good at it "right Scar? Mufasa replied

So what happened? Simba asked
Injury I had injured my back and left leg they are permanent injuries Scar replied
Oh everyone said
So who's winning? Kiara and Vintani asked as they walked into the living room
The Cowboys are winning Simba answered
And Surak seems really happy about it Kovu replied
Well that's good Surak has been a Dallas Cowboys fan since he was little Janna said as she and Uru joined Kiara and Vintani
I'll always be a fan of the Cowboys until the day I die Surak replied
Hey uncle Scar do you think you could teach us how to play Soccer? Kion asked
Wait what now? Kiara asked surprised

It still is my favorite sport I always watch on television whenever I can and I don't know Kion I don't think I have in me anymore after the injuries I sustained Scar said
Oh come on Dad please Nuka begged

It's about time I'm starving Scar added getting up and following his brother and everyone into the kitchen
When they got to the dining table Nala and Sarabi and Zira were putting the final dishes onto the table it sure looked good there was a platter of ham bowl of mashed potatoes and corn and a bowl of green beans and in the center of the table was a homemade turkey everyone took their places at the table Mufasa on one end and Sarabi on the other end
Alright now let us say grace "Mufasa would you do the honor of saying grace? Sarabi asked
Certainly dear lord thank you for the food we are about to receive we are grateful for receiving this blessing we ask that you watch over our family and guide us to the do the right in the name of the father the son and Holy Spirit amen Mufasa finished
Alright let's go ahead and eat while it's still hot Nala said
Everyone laughed then started filling their plates with food while telling stories about each other Mufasa told stories about him and Scar growing up as so did Uru after dinner Scar finally decided to teach everyone how to play his favourite sport and it turned into a competitive game girls vs boys and Scar would coach it was fun time afterwards it was time for everyone to head home it was a fun thanksgiving and one they'll never forget and that was that
