Chapter 4: Stargazing for Cups
When the Cup Trio arrived at the movie set, Angel, Cora, Ginger, and Shelly waved them over.
"Wow! Chalice, you didn't tell me you have pretty girls as acquaintances. I should've put on my gentleman shirt," said Mugman, straightening his collar.
But Cuphead walked over with his hand out and said, which surprised his brother and shocked Chalice, "Hello, ladies. It's nice to meet some friends of Chalice. I'm Cuphead, and he's my twin younger brother, Mugman. I hope we can get along well. Any friend of Chalice is a friend of mine. It's good to see you again, Captain Cora."
"Call me Cora since we are not on Rosita. Ahoy, Mugman, me first, matey," said Cora, going over to Mugman and wrapping her arm around his next.
Despite being playful, it's choking Mugman while Cuphead shakes the hands of Angel, Ginger, and Shelly.
"It's nice to meet you two at last. Chalice has been telling us everything about you," said Angel.
"Hey, how about we race together sometime?" Ginger asks.
"I can't say no to competition. But I must warn you. Don't play nice," Cuphead teased.
"That's what I like to hear."
"And then maybe we can go to the arcade and play games over there," said Shelly, putting her hands together.
Then Cuphead replied, "Alright. You girls look like loads of fun. Mugman and I will gladly accept you as our friends."
This startled Angel, Ginger, and Shelly until they smirked and thought, "He's the perfect package for Chalice."
When Cora lets Mugman go, he collapses as she says, "Onward, me hearties. This will be our ticket to stardom."
"WAIT!" a voice heard afar.
The group turned to see Thea and Caffina with some directors and producers.
"There! We've been searching for the right seven," Thea continued. "Congratulations, you are the stunt doubles for our movie."
"Yeah!" the Cup Brothers cheered.
"But we didn't do anything," Chalice whispered to her C.H.A.R.M suspiciously.
Thea quickly goes over to Cuphead to cling onto his arm, which irritates Chalice.
"You must feel overwhelmed to be working alongside me, cutie," Thea fluttered eyes.
"Oh, no. You got the wrong person. My brother on the floor is the cute one," said Cuphead, pointing towards Mugman being helped up by Caffina.
"I can't believe we're meeting you face to face, Miss Gardner," said Mugman.
"Oh, please. Call me Caffina, cutie," said Caffina, talking his chin which made him blush.
Jealous, Cora takes out his sword.
Then one of the directors said, "Alright, people. Let's get to work on the double. You come with us to the makeup department to get ready for your parts."
"You Cup Brothers can stay with us," Thea and Caffina said to Cuphead and Mugman as they clung to their arms.
Chalice and Cora were about to use their spear and sword on the actresses, but Angel, Ginger, and Shelly held them back.
"I must kill! I must decapitate!" Chalice screamed.
"I will smite them where they stand!" Cora yelled.
"You professionals are nice and all, but we should stay with our friends," said Cuphead, getting Thea and Caffina off their arms.
This surprised Thea and Caffina as the Brothers returned to C.H.A.R.M, which calmed Chalice and Cora down.
"Playing hard to get," said Thea and Caffina as they followed everyone onto the set.
