This collection of stories is another set of fanfictions, however, most of these have come from or were based on my textbook's story-dialogues with varying levels of alteration. Please enjoy.

4. Mooncakes and Pumpkin Pies

It is 5:30 in the Minoris' household. Mizukawa's mother is baking something.

"Okaa-san, what are you busy with in the kitchen? Are you making mooncakes again?" Mizukawa asked while noticing her mother's baking equipment all around. "I'm making a pumpkin pie right now. Do you want to help?" her mother answered. She thought for a moment and said, "Ok, I'll try. Does a pumpkin pie have the same ingredients as a mooncake?"

Her mom looked at the ingredients and answered, "Pretty much - they both use flour, cream, eggs and sugar - but the ways to make are different, Mooncakes have stuffing packed inside them."

"Oh, ok. But why am I seeing pumpkin pies everywhere now?" she asked again. "Well, it's autumn already, isn't it? And autumn is where there are most pumpkins. On top of that there's Halloween and Thanksgiving, so people eat pumpkin pies often."

Nodding her head, she smelled the pumpkin pie, now in the oven. "It smells great! How many more minutes until we can take it out?"

"Baking another ten minutes will do. For now, you can help me clean up the kitchen. My, it's so messy already." Her mother answered. Mizukawa obediently helped clean the kitchen.
