"Well, I guess we can't exactly hide her in your jacket, Wendy."

John scratched the back of his neck as the three of them followed Tinkermon into the hallway and out into the courtyard of the school.

They said little until emerging out into the glaring sunlight, in the center of a familiar tree-encircled pavilion lined with benched surrounding a fountain.

As soon as she could, Wendy sat down on one of the benches folding her arms around her. She felt cold, even for the November air. She felt a chill in her bones, like she had come very close to being in contact with the darkest of forces she could fathom.

"Wendy, are you okay?" Michael asked, concerned.

Wendy smiled up at her youngest brother. "I'm fine, Michael."

But her face was pale. John looked concerned. "We should get you home."

"I'm fine, really," Wendy insisted, turning her attention to the fairy hovering in the air before them, who in turn wore a somber expression. "Thank you, Tinkermon."

"Don't mention it," she replied, finally alighting on the pavement, walking all-too-human-like toward them. "It was only with your help I could digivolve, Wendy. And now I know what I've come here to do."

"What's that?" Inquired John.

Tinkermon cocked an eyebrow toward him. "Well for starters, we have to stop those creatures from coming back. Somehow, a portal to the dark ocean has opened to your world."

Wendy felt a sinking feeling in her stomach.

"But in order to do that, we have to nip it in the bud at its source. We have to go to Neverland - the Digital World!"

Wendy's eyebrows rose. "Is that where you came from, Tinkermon?"

"Of course, Wendy. I was sent here to be your partner! We have to help each other. Only through bonding together can we defeat the forces which threaten both of our worlds. And that means uniting to help the one person who can lead us to victory."

"And who is that?" Wendy asked, shaking. Although, she already knew.

Tinkermon leaned in close to Wendy's ear, not quite whispering.

"Petermon."
