Destined duel

Sawatari got up and dressed out of his pyjamas and into his school uniform. On Saturday. Because it shows how great he is. He told his dad that he was going to be out for most of the day. Which his father was fine with.

"Ok all I have to do is find a good disguise which also makes me look less like me." Sawatari thought as he was about to enter the costume shop. He bumped into someone he wasn't expecting to see again. "Hey buddy is this your first time walking or something?" Sawatari said from one filler chatter to another. He opened his eyes.

"Sorry I foresaw Yuya was around here and tried to chase him down." Meira said then changed attitude after she realised who she bumped into. Sawatari then noticed who he was talking to and quickly apologised and helped pick her things."I better find darling before I never see him again." Meira stated.

"Well you better get used to it cause after I'm done with him I don't think anyone will see him again." Sawatari bragged. Meira without any hesitation started up her duel disk. Then she said

"I won't let you hurt Yuya." Sawatari then mentioned that hurting him is usually how it works. Meira began the duel with Sawatari thinking he could use some good practice. Then he started up his duel disk. Meira went first.

Turn 1 Meira's hand 5 and Sawatari's hand 5. Meira's life points are 4000 and Sawatari's are 4000.

"I'll go first and start things off by plying setting a monster and playing a face down." And with she ended her turn.

Turn 2 Meira's life points were 4000 and so was Sawatari's. Her hand was left with 3 cards while Sawatari's was still 5.

"With moves like that it's no wonder you lost in the Miami Championship." Sawatari commented then he drew and started off by setting the scales.

"You lost that champuonship too and during the first round." Meira reminded him. Which left him silent a little but then mimicked a certain person with Yu in their name.

"I set the pendulum scales ladies and gentlemen." Sawatari announced not reading what he just said.

"Oh how nice Yuya has rubbed off on you he tends to have that affect on people." Meira commented. Sawatari looked visibly angry as he used Abyss Actors Devil Heel and Funky Comedian, he continued his turn then pendulum summoned out onto the field Abyss Actors Pretty Heroine and Sassy Rookie. Then he activated the continuous spell Abyss Stage Prop-Escape Stage would come in handy later. He then proceeded to attack with Pretty Heroine to the facedown.

"Prediction Princess Petalelf flip effect activates I change the position of all face up attack position monsters my opponent control to defence position oh and they can't be changed until the end of this turn." Meira explained in 1 breath. Dammit was all Sawatari could say he then set a card and ended his turn.

Turn 3 Meira's life points were 400 and Sawatari's were 4000. Meira's hand was 3 while Sawatari's was 0.

Meira drew them she activated the ritual spell Holy Divination Ritual. She then proceeded to send Prediction Princess Crystaldine and Prediction Princess Arrowsylph.

"In order to ritual summon out Priestess of ancient times who foresees everything! With the ancient description, now, be revived! Ritual Summon! Level 9! Holy Prediction Princess Tarotrei!" Who had a whopping 2700 attack and 1200 defence.

"It's been a long time since I've seen a ritual summon so this surely is shocking but old obscure summons aren't going to help you." Sawatari boasted.

"How's this then Holy Prediciton Princess Tarotrei attack Pretty Heroine!" Meira ordered. Sawatari then quickly activated his continuous spell Meira seems to have forgotten. Which prevents her from being destroyed by battle.

Turn 4 Meira's life points were 4000 while Sawatari's were 4000. Her hand was at 0 and so was Sawatari's.

Sawatari drew but then he activated his facedown from earlier which was the trap Abyss Actors Back Stage.

"This card allows me to send 2 Abyss Acotr pendulum monsters from my deck face up to the extra deck as long as I have 2 pendulum cards in my pendulum zones." Sawatari explained. He then chose to send Big Star and Wild Hope to the extra deck. "Yuya's not the only 1 who can do this I pendulum summon out Abyss Actor Big Star."

"Yuya would have summoned way more monsters what gives?" Meira argued. Sawatari then stated that he has low hand size.

"Next up I activate my monster's effect which allows me to set 1 Abyss Script spell from my deck to the field." Sawatari said using the effect. "Next I activate that set spell which just so happens to be Rise Of The Abyss King which mean I can destroy face up cards on the field less than or equal to the number of face up Abyss Actor monsters I control." Sawatari's stated.

Meira's ritual monster was destroyed. Sawatari then switched Sassy Rookie to attack. Sawatari then orders them to attack Meira directly.

"Not so fast I knew you would do this so I reveal my face down damaging shield which allows me to instead increase my life points by that monsters attack." She then gained 2500 life points but then loss 1700 life points. Sawatari then ended his turn after set another card facedown.

Turn 6 Meira's was on 4800 life points. Sawatari's was on 4000. Meira's hand was 0 and so was Sawatari's.

Meira drew and she then played Cup Of Ace where she got to flip a coin and if it lands on heads she draws 2 cards but if it lands on tails Sawatari draws 2 cards. She flipped her coin and it landed dragon heads up.

"Just as I predicted." She thought. She then drew 2 cards then played monster reborn to bring back her ritual ace monster. Then she normal summoned Prediction Princess Coinorma and then used the effect of her Tarotei to make her monsters be flipped facedown.

"I might be in some trouble now." Sawatari feared. Meira smiled the same she flipped summoned her Prediction Princess Coinorma.

"This allows me to set a level 4 monster fe either my grave or my deck or hand." Meira explained she then set her Prediction Princess Petalelf from her graveyard. Then flipped summoned it to activate its effect. To make all Sawatari's monsters in defence position. "Holy Prediciton Princess Tarotrei attack Big Star!" She ordered.

"Ah ah did you forget about my spell I can make an Abyss Actor monster that would be destroyed by battle or card effect remains on the field." Sawatari smugly reminded her. "Also I activate my trap card Abyss Actors' Curtain Call." Sawatari stated. The card allows him to add a face up Abyss Actor pendulum monster to his hand up to the number of Abyss Script spell in the graveyard.

He then added Wild Hope to his hand then he special summoned it in face up attack position due to the trap. She then ended her turn as she couldn't attack with her other 3 monsters.

Turn 7 Meira is on 4800 life points. While Sawatari's was still on 4000. Meira's hand count was 0 and Sawatari's was on 0.

Sawatari drew then played Pot Of Gred then he drew 2 cards. He then activated Funky Comedian's pendulum effect. He then returned Wild Hope back face up in the extra deck.

And made Abyss Actor Big Star go from 2500 attack to 4100 he then switch Big Star, Sassy Rookie and Pretty Heroine to attack. Then he chose to attack Holy Prediction Princess Tarotei with Abyss Actor Big star. She then took 1400 battle damage straight to her life points.

Then Sawatari used Sassy Rookie to attack Patalelf. Meira then took 900 points of damage to her life points. He then used Pretty Heroine to attack Prediciton Princess Coinorma. She then took 700 points of damage. Sawatari then ended his turn

Turn 8 Meira's life points were on 1700. While Sawatari's was on 4000. Sawatari's hand count was 2 and so was Meira's was 0.

"I'd give up if I were you at this point." Sawatari suggested. Meira a little angry then set a monster and ended her turn.

Turn 9 Meira's life points were 1700 and Sawatari's was 4000. Meira's hand count was 0 while Sawatari's was 2

Sawatari attack the facedown with Sassy Rookie.

"I activate another Coinorma to set another card." Sawatari then attacked with Pretty Heroine only for it to be another Coinorma to set another card. Sawatari then while being very annoyed attack with Big Star only for to be Coinorma again. Meira then set another card. He then ended his turn.

Turn 10 Meira's life points were on 1700 and Sawatari's was 4000. Meira's hand count is 1 while Sawatari's was on 3

"I'd give up if I were you at this point." Meira mocked Sawatari while mimicking him. She then ended her turn.

Turn 11 Meira's life points were 1700 while Sawatari's was 4000. His hand count however was 3 and Meira's was 2.

He drew then set a card and ended his turn. Turn 12. Meira then drew and ended her turn. Leaving her with 3 cards. He then pendulum summoned Wild Hope from the extra deck then attacked with it for the face down.

"Reveal my set card I activate-" Meira then got interrupted.

"Reveal my facedown the trap Breakthrough Skill which negates the effect of an effect monster until the end of this turn." Meira panicked then Wild Hope attacked her Coinorma then he attacked with Big Star and won the duel.

"Hm you may have won the duel but I won't let you harm Yuya in any way!" Meira commented.

"Woah woah woah when did I say I was gonna harm him." Sawatari asked. Meira then brought up what he said earlier. Sawatari then explained he meant that he would humiliate Yuya just like how he did to him.

Meira felt a little embarrassed but Sawatari laughed it off. Sawatari then mentioned that duelling got him an appetite and could go for a burger and Meira agreed. Sawatari told her he wasn't expecting her to join him but it's fine for now.

"Phew for a sec I thought she would find me." Said Yuya hiding inside a potted plant. Then he said "Whatever you have planned Sawatari I will be waiting."

Sawatari out here milling through the fillers to get to main characters. Also, Meira is now a sort of an ally with Sawatari so she may also appear more. Also, Yuya's first appearance in this let's go. Their duel will be legendary just wait and see.
