Chapter Two

Special Agent Alden Parker had been talking to the group inside of his apartment complex. Doctor Donald Mallard had been asked to join the group in order to figure out the truth and the death of Senator Lewis Johnson in his home.

Mallard, Jessica Knight, Palmer, and Parker's ex-wife had been going over the evidence. While McGee was in jail right now with Deliah and the twins had gone to her mother for now knowing what the results will be.

There was a phone call from Nicholas Torres having to be on the seaplane with Leroy Jethro Gibbs. "Are you sure about this Torres to involve Gibbs in this case?" he was loud enough for everyone to be hearing what was being said.

"I told you earlier it was necessary to have Gibbs involved Special Agent Parker." Torres turned to face Gibbs having to be sitting next to him on the seaplane with two others heading for Washington, D.C.

What Gibbs and Torres didn't know was the fact the two elderly males were working with the group that had McGee arrested for killing the senator. They had been trying to hear what was being said over the phone by Special Agent Torres.

"Okay, I understand Nick. Just get here with Gibbs safe and sound for now. Or the fact that you might be watched as well on the Seaplane. So I suggest that you're be careful for now." Parker noted.

Torres looked around with Gibbs anxious to know just what was going on with Torres...

FLASHBACK...

Inside Senator Johnson's home only forty minutes away from the capital. He had asked NCIS Special Agent Timothy McGee to his home.

He had evidence gathered by his own staff about the Montero's mobster family for the past year and now he wanted to turn it into McGee as part of a plea bargain with the attorney general's office. He had sent his family to Virginia at the local ranch until he was able to feel safe and sound.

Special Agent Timothy McGee parked his black SUV from the carpool of the NCIS garage. He needed to be careful as requested by Senator Johnson. Parking inside his garage with the senator closing the double doors waiting for him.

Walking inside through the kitchen and living room, along with the den. "Senator I am here to have you tell me about this file you're talked about over the phone," he tells him with an exhale of breath coming out of his lungs.

"Here is the evidence I have as my team gathering the evidence against the mob family. I had to send my family away so that the family doesn't go after them in the first place." Johnson said inside the antique den his wife loves to collect.

It was at this point McGee and Senator Johnson heard the noise of McGee being shot with a dart into his neck to fall quickly to the brown rug. While Johnson was shot in the head and chest by the two armed shooters wearing black masks over their faces.

Senator Johnson was dead and McGee was being set up with one of the men to clean the revolver and with placing it into his hands while taking the folder with them before leaving.

In a low tone of voice. "We have better be getting out of here quickly before the security officers arrive on the scene." he cried out with moving up from McGee's body as he's going to be waking in twenty minutes.
