A Blast to the Past

As you probably assumed this will be a time travel fanfiction and it's going to take place a bit after the end of the third shinobi world war and Naruto travels back in time when his fighting double-rinnegan Madara near the start of the Kaguya fight . PowerfulNaruto, GoodKurama, Time Travel. And also some other cool changes

AND I DON'T OWN NARUTO OR ANY OF ITS CHARACTERS

So here we go!

Chapter 1 The Past

"Finally It has been done" Madara chuckled as he looked at the team in front of him "Peace is upon us" he stated his grin growing even bigger. Naruto glared at Madara as if trying to kill with his eyes but then black zetsu came in from behind Madara. The now god-like shinobi turned around sensing the intention.

"Shinra Tensei" he stated, Black zetsu was pushed back by the invisible force like a mountain crashing against him . Zetsu flew back and crashed to the ground "just what are you doing zetsu?" Madara asked, raising an eyebrow DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT Zetsu thought to himself, he had the perfect chance to revive Kaguya but all of his work was taken away from him because of his footsteps being slightly too loud.

"Well sir I was-" He was cut by Madara "Do you believe me to be that stupid?" Madara asked "I sensed your killing intent and well it was directed at me, Madara sighed "I thought you said you were my will ``''well that's fine, I will just kill you" Zetsu shivered at those words "Chibaku tensei!" Madara yelled a small black orb floating high into the sky.

Zetsu began to feel his feet floating off the ground and into the air "NO NO!" He screamed as he floated up nearby debris and began to float the ball of rock that reached a size of around a large house Madara turned back his eyes landing on Naruto and Sasuke, he chuckled "shall we dance?"

Naruto found himself in a large yellow-whitish void similar to one he had when he met his mother with fresh tears on his face. He still remembered Sasuke being pierced through the heart Sakura being burned alive and Kakashi dying from chakra exhaustion in his arms. He looked around with curiosity wiping his face at the same time before a white gel substance began to take form into that of the Sage of six paths sitting criss-cross floating above 6 black orbs ``It seems we meet again" He said with a slight frown on his face Naruto frowned and looked down knowing that he had failed the him, they failed to defeat Madara and they failed to stop the infinite Tsukuyomi.

"I just wish I could redo it all over again. It all went to crap because of me, I was too weak, too slow" Naruto said tears finally leaking out of his eyes "They died for me" and yet I failed I promised them but in the end I failed." Hagoromo frowned and spoke "No son, we failed" He finally stated Naruto looked back at him with slight surprise Hagoromo sighed and then just then a light bulb formed in Naruto' head "wait, you have super-duper awesome powers right?" Naruto asked, his face turning into one of excitement "Well yes my son" he replied curious on what Naruto had come up with "What if I went back in time and stopped all of this from ever happening?"

Naruto asked, his eyes regaining hope once more Hagoromo frowned slightly making Naruto even more nervous "hm yes it is indeed possible but I would have to use all my remaining chakra in this world which means I can't observe anything so you will be on you own with Kurama" he stated "but this stupid seal Madara put on me preventing me from using Kuramas chakra or even communicating with him "thats an easy fix" Hagoromo stated as he went through a few hand seals and just like that the seal disappeared.

Kurama couldn't believe that Naruto and him were going back in time and with the sacrifice of his father but Kurama agreed after some convincing. "Naruto you and Kurama on your own from now on" He said with a small tear building up on his eyelid "you will be sent back to the time around the end of the third shinobi world war or for you the start of the Academy you will sent in the form you are in now and please go and fix the mistakes I could not You will keep all your abilities and that includes the yang of half of my chakra" The old Sage explained.

Naruto nodded with a smile on his face "Well my boy now you shall go" "Thanks Super Gigi" he stated before both Naruto and Hagoromo began fading into a white dust. "Goodbye my boy," he said with a small smile.

Back in the Past

A 17 year old Naruto found himself sitting against a tree with his eyes open. He looked around seeing a forest, Naruto rubbed his eyes and got up stretching "Hey kit we're here" Naruto nodded "we should make it back to Konoha" The fox stated "Yea but where is Konoha?" Naruto asked "I can sense a large amount of humans east" "Ok let's go going" Naruto stated then he disappeared.

Izumo and Kotetsu were sitting down when they saw "Naruto?" Izumo asked looking at the boy but this wasn't Naruto more like an older version but the similarities were erie the whiskers, the hair and the eyes but they did notice something about the eyes the left eye was a pure black in color."hey is that you Naruto" Izumi greeted. Naruto sweat dropped do I like that much like myself? He thought frantically "Hey kit play it cool we don't wanna reveal anything yet" yea yea Naruto responded "Who is this Naruto?" Naruto asked trying to stay calm and pull a oscar award winning act Izumo shook his head "You look just like him" He stated while scratching the back on his head, "so what business do you have in Konoha" Izumo asked "Well I am here to speak to the Hokage" he stated "oh well do have an id or a Ninja Identification card? "I have a headband" Naruto replied hoping this would get him into the village.

"Hmm well do you have proof that's it yours" Izumo asked Naruto put his hands in his pockets trying find anything he pulled out several tissues a few coins and some dollar bills and whole lot of other crap, Izumo sweat dropped at how much stuff the blonde kept in his pockets.

But then a massive amount of pain in the form of a headache hit him. Naruto fell to his knees gripping his head tightly "AHHHH"he screamed while on the ground Izumo looked shocked by the sudden seizure. He wasn't really sure what it was but the blonde was in extreme pain. "OY KOTETSU, GET UP WE HAVE A PROBLEM" The said Shinobi woke "help me carry him to hospital" Izumo ordered

Hospital

Naruto woke up in a familiar white room his eyes fluttering open the sound of a beeping heart rate monitor greeting his ears he looked up before groaning in pain eh Kurama what was that? He asked in his head "Kit time travel is very painful in fact if it wasn't for me you would have fallen unconscious the second we got here so I used my chakra to protect you but when I saw that opportunity I took it" The fox explained well you could have warned me first "nah that was more entertaining" The fox said.

Naruto got from his bed surprising the doctors who looked at him "So ummm can I talk with the Hokage?" he sheepishly while scratching the back of his head "Yes but you need to stay here for another few hours for healing" The Doctor replied sternly "OH MY GOD LOOK ITS A UNICORN!" Naruto shouted pointing a finger behind the doctor, said the doctor looked back curiously gripping him but when there was nothing he turned but only the blonde wasn't there anymore. He just scowled and left the room angrily.

The hidden anbu in the Hokage's office jumped when they saw someone suddenly appear in the room so fast that they couldn't even sense him enter Hiruzen pulled off his Hokage cloak and into his battle gear with the adamantine staff in hand pointed at the intruder.

This intruder reminded Hiruzen so much of

Naruto he looked like an older version of him, a Namikaze? He thought "Ok can you guys calm down i'm not here to fight or anything just to talk. That made the anbu loosen their swords that were pointed directly at his neck. The aged Hokage let out a small sigh in relief he could feel the power just emitted by this individual. It was insane to say the least.

"Can you get these anbu out here, what I'm about to tell you is very important" Naruto asked "Anbu get out of here" he ordered in his 'hokage' voice The anbu shuttered and quickly left. Naruto slammed his hand on the ground several seals spreading around the room "Pure silence sealing style" he stated

"Ok this is gonna sound pretty ridiculous but I'm from the future" he stated

Hiruzen breathed out his pipe after finding out the future I'm too old for this crap he thought "well I suggest getting a new name you look just like a Namikaze so I can add you to that clan but that's going to be difficult and you will be jonin" Naruto nodded "I think I have a name for you Naruto'' the sandaime continued "Akito" he stated "Akito Naruto said raising an eyebrow "yea I guess it'll work" he said sheepishly "and with the Namikaze problem, I can handle that he stated his left eye forming into a 3 tomoe sharingan. Akito had used his sharingan to put a mix of fuinjutsu and genjutsu to cover his whiskers

"For now I can get your apartment where would you like to live," The aged Hokage asked while pulling up a book of open apartments "hmmm" Akito hummed "What about next Naruto's apartment," he asked wanting to see his past self the Sandaime Hokage began to look throughout the book "ah yes we can do that" he stated Hiruzen pulled out a pen and paper from his desk and began writing "Ok this can get you the apartment just show it the landlord and he should let you in" he stated "thanks Gigi," he said a smile on his face he took the paper from the Hokage's hand and leaped out the window breaking the glass "*sigh* you sure have the most interesting son Minato the Hokage thought.

Namikaze clan compound Midnight

Akito arrived to the small compound it was really small seeing how after Minato's death the clan had been falling in numbers and political power. Akito calmly walked in through the gate the clan was small only 37 members were left he created 37 shadow clones "Go use genjutsu on every clan member" he ordered getting a chorus of "yes boss" from the clones.

Naruto's Apartment

Akito arrived at the complex, nostalgia flooding his brain, he looked at the rundown building. It wasn't the nicest but not the worst either. He walked through the doors into the main lobby and proceeded to go to the landlord's office.

The landlord was a fat drunk most of the time he just sat in his office drinking and when Akito walked inside it was no different the man was sleeping watching tv snoring loudly with quite a few beer bottles and paper littering the floor Naruto carefully navigated to the man's desk where he opened a drawer and started looking yes room 202 he thought as he grabbed the key. Akito left the Hokage's note on the man's desk.

Akito walked to his room when he saw a certain blonde running up the stairs, his eyes widened. Is that me? He thought. He watched as the blonde wearing a white t-shirt with the Uzumaki swirl on the front and back. The boy walked into his apartment leaving Akito on the stairs.

Akito wondered why his past self was up so late and couldn't remember but he continued his walk up the stairs and unlocked his door entering his new home it was nothing fancy but it would work but for now, he would need to change his look he decided to let his hair stay the same but used a genjutsu on his eye making appear the sapphire like his other one and made sure nobody could see his sharingan.

Time for some sleep Akito thought as he laid on his bed not bothering to take his clothes off "You Idiot we were sent here by the Sage 6 paths my father and the closest being to a god to stop a crazy lunatic who wants to put the entire world under a genjutsu and here you are concerned about sleep" Kurama berated oh calm down Kurama we have time and plus, I'm tired Akito replied lazily.

Naruto Uzumaki woke up on the big day finally he was gonna go the academy and get closer to becoming Hokage. The blonde rubbed his eyes and jumped off of his bed excitement in his eyes and went to the closet pulling out a familiar orange jumpsuit and putting it on he adjusted the goggles on his head to the perfect angle while looking at a mirror. Naruto quickly opened the front door with a big smile on his face.

Akito walked out of his apartment ready to buy some new clothes and weapons after all the battle with Madara left his clothes dirty and he just needed to buy some everyday goods. Akito walked through the busy marketplace of Konoha, those glares of hate were replaced by looks of curiosity and one of those people was Kakashi Hatake. He glanced at the blonde while still reading his book is he a spy? Kakashi thought he had never seen this blonde and by the looks of it he was jonin he had a certain aura power and ferocity and Kakashi was very intrigued and he could smell foxes from the blonde.

Akito almost cried when he saw the gaze of copy-ninja Kakashi Hatake. He remembered how he had died right there in his arms and given him the last gift. But he steeled himself and looked away but before he could take another step, he sensed 2 people in front of him and another behind and he saw Kakashi right behind him Asuma Sarutobi with a trench knife right his throat cigarette in mouth a certain Kurenai Yuhi to his side glaring at him ready to perform hand seals. "Sup" the blonde greeted nonchalantly "we've never seen you here before" Kurenai stated "are you a spy?" she asked "no I'm new around here. I got here yesterday I'm from the capital I left Konoha when I just 5 for the capital did some training and I came back yesterday" Akito said calmly "who are you?" Kurenai asked, "my name is Akito Namikaze," he said, "I still don't trust you, you're coming with us to the Hokage to see if you're telling the truth" she stated.

Chapter 1 is done, I really like the concept of Time Traveler Naruto training Young Naruto so review if you want to add anything. And Chapter 2 should come out in about a day or 2 so yea hope you enjoyed.
