Yuya VS Costume duellist

Turn 1 Yuya's hand 5 and so was Sawatari's. Life points were set to 4000.

"I'll start this duel off by setting the scale with my Timegazer and Stargazer MagiciansWhip Snake this allows me to special summon all level 2 to 7 monsters at the same time." Yuga explained cheerfully not realising the situation he is in. "I'll pendulum summon my Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon and I'll just set 1 card and end my turn." Yuya said

Turn 2 Yuya's hand 1 while Sawatari's hand was 5. Their life points were 4000.

"Not bad but I can pendulum summon too but I won't need to rely on cheap tricks to beat the likes of you." Sawatari in disguise said hoping Yuya accepted the bluff. "I'll choose to special summon Escher the Vassal of the Ice Monarch from my hand thanks to its effect due to my opponent having 2 or more spell or trap cards on the field and well you know." He explained using an old combo of his he can put at full use. "Then seen as I specially summoned it I normal summon my Mobius the Ice Monarch." He announced. "Does it not strike fear into you!" He asked.

"Honestly not really it appears to be weaker than my Odd Eyes." Yuya answered. Sawatari tried his best not loose his temper. Then explained that when he is normal summoned he could target up to 2 spell or trap cards on the field and destroy them. He then proceeded to destroy Yuya's pendulum cards. Now Yuya was starting to feel fear well at least that's what Sawatari thought. Then he set a card and ended his turn.

"Hm not the best moves I've made but oh well." Sawatari thought.

Turn 3 Yuya's hand 1 Sawatari's hand 3. Thier life points at 4000 still.

Yuya drew then made his move he normal summoned Performapal Whip Snake then activated its effect making switch its current attack with its current defence and vice versa. Sawatari was panicking mentally but I'm reality no one could tell how he was feeling. Yuya then tried to proceed with attacking with Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon which left the ice monarch to a liquid.

"Also, any battle damage that Odd Eyes deals is doubled!" Yuya quickly explained. Sawatari then lost 3000 life points. Sawatari screamed from the pain.

"Ah I activate my trap card Ice Rage Shot where if my opponent destroys a water monster I control by battle I can target that monster and destroy it!" Sawatari explained trying to disguise his voice.

"Oh no!" Yuya screamed. Then his Odd Eyes was destroyed. Sawatari being the idiot he is then said

"Bye bye Odd Eyes oh and you also take damage equal to the original attack of that monster." Yuya then loss 2500 life points. Yuya then attacked with his Performapal Whip Snake which made Sawatari use his action card evasion to negate it which he held on to while Yuya was distracted from his trap.

"Wait Yuya I recognise those cards I think I may have duelled someone who used them a long time back." Yuto told Yuya

"Really who is it?" Yuya asked

"I don't know for sure heck I don't even think I remember the guys name but keep duelling and we can get some answers just know Yuzu hates him." Yuto replied

"Hm impressed by my move don't worry there's more where that came from." Sawatari blurted

Turn 4 Yuya's life points 1500 Sawatari's 1000. Yuya's hand was 1 Sawatari's hand 3.

Sawatari drew and knew he needed to win for sure before Yuya gets his dragon back. His cards however couldn't help him much seen as he had his Localized Tornado and a frigid monarch which he can't seem to summon but he did have 2 pendulum cards.

"I set the scale with my scale 1 Pendulum Statue Red Devil and my scale 12 Pendulum Statue Black Sun I pendulum summon out my Mobius the Frigid Ice Monarch!" Sawatari announced hoping Yuya still couldn't figure out who he really was. "I may not be able to use its effect but I can sure as hell deal enough damage now Mobius attack that snake!" He stated

"Not so fast I reveal my facedown it's the trap Command Performance which simply makes it where I can change the battle position of my opponent's monster and it cannot change that until the end of your next turn just as long as it tried attacking a Performapal monster." Yuya explained

"Yuya I recognise this duellist and I'm starting to think you know who as well." Yuto told Yuya. Yuya smiled and nodded. Sawatari then ended his turn.

Turn 5 Yuya's life points 1500 Sawatari's 1000. Yuya's hand was 1 while Sawatari's was 1.

Yuya drew then he proceeds to set the scale with his scale 4 Performapal Kaleidoscorp and his scale 8 Xiangsheng Magician then he pendulum summon out onto his field from his extra deck his Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon. He ordered his dragon to attack the frigid ice monarch then ended the duel with his Perormapal Whip Snake and decreased Sawatari's life points to 0.

The duel ended and Sawatari's costume came loose revealing himself.

"Sawatari what was all this for?" Yuya asked.

"I just wanted a little practise that's all." Sawatari quickly answered as he tried to find his costume.

"Ok but you could have just asked I don't see why you would need to go through all this effort." Yuya told him.

"Yuya, I made a vow the moment you beat me for the first time that I would beat you in a duel some day and while I have possibly forgotten about that I'll make that comes true soon thank you for the practise though I look forward to our next duel." They both shook hands and left. Hours later Sawatari was going through all kinds of emotions in his room.

"Dammit how is he still beating me I thought I had that duel in the bag I even used some pendulum cars so I can still use my high level monsters." Sawatari sobbed. He then looked at all the decks he has created in the past and promised them that one day he'll beat Yuya and take his place at being the best. Though it felt like it would take a while he still had some hope left. Even if it did look like he threw a fit as per usual.

Just before the night ended Yuga deuces to call up Yuzu and Gongenzaka. He explained to them the weird duel he just had with Sawatari. On one hand they felt a little bad for him but at the same time he can get better he just thinks he already is. Yuya hopes Sawatari doesn't do anything too stupid like that again.

"Hey Yuya I would like to mention that I beat Sawatari during the pier and he used those water monarch cards. Yuto finally remembered

"I beat him too he looks like he has working out for you and I don't get why." Fusion I mean Yugo said.

"So everyone except me had duelled against him except me maybe I should try." Yuri laughed.

"And just how do you plan on doing that?" Yuya asked.

"Oh, can't believe he beat me again that makes what the fourth or something time I've either lost to Yuya or someone who looks like him." He kept on complaining about to his friends on the phone who was trying their hardest to raise his ego. But yet he felt like he didn't deserve the name of Neo New Sawatari.

Well, how's you think of that mini duel between Yuya and Sawatari I hope it was entertaining for everyone. Also, we got our first action duel also if you're wondering why the duel in chapter 2 had 8000, I just forgot now they have the option to choose the amount of life points before the duel starts. 4000 is still the main 1 I'll be using but 8000 can be useful in some ways.
