The secretary, Valentina walked in.
It was mealtime.
Marcus, Caius, and me were sitting on our thrones, having finished.
"Ah. Valentina has brought us something." I announced.
I stood up.
"She should not have interrupted." Caius pointed out.
"She's new." I tried to reason with him.
"Aren't they all?" Marcus questioned, void of any empathy.

I walked to the end of the throne platform.
I motioned her to come closer.
Valentina stepped up on the first step.
I took the piece of thick black stationery off the silver tray she was holding.
I smiled at Valentina.
"We are sorry to inform you of the death of Isabella Marie Cullen."
"What sorrow." Marcus commented, void of any empathy.
"This is the Cullens' way of announcing they're leaving Forks. They mock us with their delays." He pointed out.
I turned around.
"Patience, brother." I cautioned Caius.
