Hi, I'm very new so this is my first time attempting a fanfic. Hope all of you enjoy this one =)

Disclaimer: I do NOT own Happy Tree Friends and these characters. They belong to MondoMedia

Flaky is in the middle of getting ready for a friend that's coming over to her house. That friend being the green army veteran bear, Flippy. She thought it'd be a good idea to invite him over to spend some time with her. Flaky just couldn't contain her excitement because Flippy had been her friend ever since they were kids. After sorting out everything, Flaky helps herself out with a cup of lemonade.

While the time is passing by, Flaky started thinking what they were going to do once he got over there. Were they going to watch a movie? Watch some sports games? Maybe just play around? She wasn't sure yet, but she'll see once he gets there.

After about twelve minutes, she hears a knock on her door. Flaky makes her way to her door and peeks through the peephole of her door.

It was Flippy.

Flaky couldn't see his face because he was looking down and he had his hands behind his back. Despite this, Flaky was happy to see him. She then opened the door for him, but she immediately stopped dead in her tracks with narrowed eyes.

She wasn't looking at Flippy. No, she was looking at his murderous and psychotic alter-ego, Fliqpy. He must've flipped out while making his way over to her house. On his right hand was a large bowie knife and underneath his left arm was a teddy bear

Fliqpy let out his signature but sinister scream while Flaky screamed in terror. The mad soldier then rushed towards the red porcupine. Flaky put her hands on each side of her head and shut her eyes just in case he was going to do something to her.

Fliqpy didn't do that. Instead, he ran past her. Knowing the layout of Flaky's house, since Flippy had been there a few times before, Fliqpy ran into the kitchen and opened the fridge.

Hiding behind the counter of her kitchen, Flaky heard all the noise so she got up from her hiding spot to see what he was doing. She stood in shock as she witnessed the bear eat everything that was in her fridge. Bread, ham, various fruits, chocolate chip cookies, tuna, anything that was in the fridge. The bear even opened the cabinets and consumed everything within seconds.

Well, except a jar of peanuts. Flaky forgot that she still had the jar. She hadn't touched them because she is very allergic to peanuts. The last time she had peanuts, she bloated into a balloon. Fliqpy let the jar be because he too is allergic to peanuts. If he was to eat them, his lips would bloat and that had happened before. He was not about to make the same mistake again.

After clearing the entire kitchen, Fliqpy dashed out of the room. This time, into Flaky's bedroom. Flaky watched from the outside of her room as the crazed soldier crawled into her bed. He turned to look at her, giving her a spine-chilling glare with his glowing, yellow pupils. Then, he pulled the covers to cover himself completely. Within seconds, he was out cold.

Flaky couldn't believe what had just happened. All this just happened so suddenly. She thought this would be a peaceful afternoon with him. She was wrong. She was trying to process everything that had just turned into chaos.

"He ate, then winter slept!" She thought to herself.

Flaky didn't know what to do next. Since the bear was knocked out, maybe she could call the police. She thought that'd be the best thing to do. More thoughts went into her head. What if he was pretending that he was sleeping? What if he was hearing her every step? What if he just came out of nowhere? Those thoughts made Flaky more scared. After about a while of thinking, she decided to just leave it be. In fact, she was tired.

She looks at the clock in her living room. 8:46 p.m.

Time flew by fast today. The sun was in the middle of setting down. It would get dark eventually. She knew she was going to have to sleep on the floor, but she didn't care. She got a spare blanket, wrapped herself around it, and started to doze off.

Later that night, she was having a hard time sleeping because it was very cold. She was shivering hard. The only sound that filled up the entire bedroom was her teeth chittering. That was until there was another noise.

THUD!

She heard something fall from her bed. She looked over to her side and saw that there was a teddy bear in the middle of the floor. Flippy's teddy bear. Once she saw the stuffed animal, Flippy's arm came out from under the covers. He was trying to locate his cuddle buddy by feeling the floor. Flaky couldn't help but feel sorry for Flippy, so she went over to pick up the bear for him.

She probably shouldn't have.

Flippy caught Flaky's hand, catching her off-guard. Shocked, she looked up at the bed to see Flippy looking back at her.

He was still Fliqpy. He cracked a sinister smile, sending panic and fear to the red porcupine. She shook violently, believing that she was about to meet her end in her own home. The home that was supposed to be her safe place.

He didn't harm her. Instead, he pulled her up from the floor into his arms. Fliqpy immediately changed back into his old self, Flippy. He was half asleep, thinking that he was hugging his teddy bear and planted a kiss on his bear's forehead. What he didn't know is that he had kissed Flaky on her forehead instead of his teddy bear. The porcupine blushed instantly at the green bear's sudden action. She was completely speechless.

Before she could do anything else, Flippy pulled Flaky under the covers. Flaky screamed, believing it was just a trick so she could be vulnerable. She was in a state of panic, and she felt her own quills pierce through her bed covers. Flaky was awaiting the end for her, but then heard snoring. Flippy was knocked out. Flaky sighed in relief and tried to recollect her thoughts.

She too fell asleep. Then, she started dreaming. Flaky was in an empty void. Everything was white. She looked around, until she noticed a figure in the distance. She walks over to the figure. When she got closer, the figure had green fur, an army beret, a camo jacket, and dog tags around his neck. It was Flippy.

He was down on his butt with his head buried underneath his arms and knees. He sensed Flaky's presence.

"I haven't even winter slept..." He told Flaky. It sounded like he was crying.

Flaky looked at him with concern in her eyes. She moved closer then sat down next to him.

"Hell was when you woke up in the next morning." She told Flippy.

She then grabbed Flippy's hand. Surprised by the action, Flippy lifted his head from his arms and looked at Flaky with teary eyes. She wiped both of his tears away. She placed both of her hands on Flippy's cheeks.

"But before you wake up, it was heaven." Flaky told him with a smile before closing her eyes to press her lips against Flippy's. He blushed in an instant but closed his eyes to feel their moment.

Everything started fading away. It was back in the bedroom.

The sun was shining through the window on the sleeping bear and porcupine. They were still sleeping but sleeping together peacefully. They were even holding hands. There was no one and nothing that could bother them. Just the two of them alone.

A/N: As I mentioned before, I'm very new to this so this is my first time attempting a fanfic. The idea came from a comic video I saw on YouTube of the same name. However, I don't know if the title of the comic is the comic's actual name. Anyway, I thought the comic was cute and heartwarming, so I thought I'd make a written version of this in my own words. Even though the comic is set in Flippy's house, I made the setting in Flaky's house. I even added more detail into this story than what the comic tells. I put tons of effort into this, so I hope you guys like this. Take care =)
