Halloween Horrors
Chapter 16th
Captain Kate Beckett had woken rather quickly after hearing her husband's outburst. "What's wrong Rick?" she blurted out for a few seconds.
He was able to explain to his wife why he cursed out with the news report of the latest body having been found. "I just don't understand Kate as to why this is happening once again with a possible serial killer being thrown into your lap?" he says loudly for her to understand.
She up from the pillows and blankets to say something to her husband. "I hope not, Castle!" she cried out planting her cold feet onto the grey rug that was brought a few months back. She was heading for the bathroom to relieve her bladder before coming back into their bedroom.
"I will need to call Captain Anderson to find out whether he has anything on his desk about the murder." She grabbed her cell phone that was sitting on the desk near their bed.
Meanwhile, the local Command Satellite center is some 15 minutes away from New York City. Colonel James Morrow was receiving a phone call letting him know that Major Irish Macon and Lt. Paul Weaverly were waiting to see him with important information.
Both officers walked inside the small office of the command center with satellite photos of the body and who it was to have done the dirty deed of murdering the woman.
Major Macon had explained the satellite photos with a deep breath into his lungs along with sending faxes to many of the police departments of Manhattan and New York City.
"Major Macon, are we sure it was this person that had killed the woman?" Colonel Morrow asked him calmly the best he could.
Taking a deep moment before answering the question. "Yes, sir we are sure. He tells the colonel with his best answer having served under the Colonel for five years.
"Well then explain in other communications that this person needs to be captured before more women are killed," he tells the both of them placing a hand behind his neck caused by the stress.
Major Macon moved away with Lt. Weaverly having been quiet throughout the exchange to move behind him.
"We will get right on it sir." Major Macon needed to say with Lt. Waverly shaking his head in agreement.
