"Tommy?" I found the White Ranger lying on the ground seemingly beaten, "Tommy?"

"Take my helmet off."

I unclasped his helmet at either side of his jaw.

"What happened?" I asked as I tossed the helmet to the grass.

"It doesn't matter anymore." He pulled his hand away from his side and I saw the red smear of dark, red, blood against the pure whiteness of his uniform.

"Oh, Tommy."

"It's okay, it doesn't hurt so bad."He groaned.

"What do you want me to do." I started to plead, "Tell me something...anything?" I wailed as Tommy coughed up blood.

"Don't leave me?" I whispered.

"Kiss me."

"What?" I looked down.

"Kiss me, send me to Heaven, with a kiss."

"Don't talk like that." I put my shaky fingers over his lips.

I kissed him and he put his palm on my chest.

I felt something pass from his palm into my heart,"What happened?"

"You are now the White Ranger."

"No,Tommy." I shook my head.

"He's getting away." He urged me to except my new role as a Ranger and perhaps leave him to die alone.

"I can't do this, Tommy."

Tommy didn't answer.

"Tommy? Tommy!"

I'll always be with you" He passed me his morpher and clasped his communicator around my wrist, "I love you." He told me.

"Now you tell me?" I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, I guess it doesn't matter anymore."

"No, Tommy, it matters." I said and we kissed again, "Tommy?" I asked and this time he didn't answer, "May the Power always protect you." I repeated Zordon's words.
