[The scene opens to show Gumball, Darwin, and the school sitting in the audience of the theater. Ember walks up on the stage with a microphone.]

Ember: Thanks for coming everyone! Tomorrow is Darwin's eleventh birthday and so I thought I would do something special! I'm going to go through some familiar songs and at the end, one about Darwin and Gumball! Who's ready?!

[The audience cheers as Darwin and Gumball look at each other, smile, and back up at Ember.]

[Ember nods to Ken, who turns on the music.]

[Gumball pauses.]

Gumball: What the...

Ember: But we both know that will be a lie.

Gumball: ...what?

Ember: It's been a nightmare being your friend, so it's time for this charade to end

So it'll be their job to get rid of you

I hope they put you into quarantine

Or lock you up until you turn eighteen

The prospects for society are turning for the worst

The environment is suffering and might not be reversed

But at least the nasty kid who makes every day so rough

In the end gets hit by karma, which will kinda make you laugh

And sure the future's looking pretty grim

The light on the horizon is pretty dim

But you're a kid and all of life is still ahead of you

Unlike the ninety-something guy who caught the avian flu

Life ain't perfect, it's... eh

Some bits are okay, but most of it's[gags]

And yes, the more you work on it, the worse it seems to get.

Looking at the news can make you break out in a sweat.

"Thank you, Joel! My pleasure!" Ember waved and looked back at Darwin and Gumball.
