Chapter 1: arriving in a diffirent world

I read x10a shadow fox version of this story and even though it's a great story I saw a couple of mistakes in his and wanted to do my own spin on it so the beginning part of this story will be somewhat similar to his. The moon was full and the night sky was as clear as glass. Unfortunately, for the people of Konoha, a night like this was not a night to enjoy since the peaceful silence was instead filled with the noise of chaos that was going all around.

Currently, the Kyuubi was unleashing its fury all over the village, destroying homes and killing people. The citizens of Konoha know what the Kyubi was. It was a force of nature, a tremendous force of power that could create Tsunamis and destroy mountains with one of its 9 tails.

Many wonder how the Kyubi was attacking their village. But for now, the village's shinobis were fighting with everything they had to stop the beast from destroying their homes and slaughtering their families.

As the battle proceeded, the shinobis gained hope as their great leader appeared on top of his summon toad and landed on the Kyubi. He was the 4th Hokage, Minato Namikaze. As the Kyubi was about to unleash another devastating blast of chakra, Minato used his famous Hirashi no Jutsu to teleport him and the Kyuubi away from Konoha to a secluded area about 10 miles away. It was then that all the shinobi of Konoha saw a strong and powerful explosion in the distance.

With Minato

The Kyubi blasted a powerful blast of its chakra at the area where Minato transported it to. Near Kyubi, Minato was not alone, and next to his side was his wife Kushina. As they saw the destruction caused by the Kyubi, both Minato and Kushina heard the cries of the greatest treasure that they have.

In Minato's arms, he held the person that they love the most, more than each other right now. With them was their newborn son Naruto and Menma Uzumaki. Even though Minato and Kushina were both happy that their baby boy was alright, they both knew that if they don't stop the Kyubi now, their precious legacy would die here and now.

Minato knew what needed to be done, which he was prepared to do. Kushina also knew what needed to be done as well. She went 1st on the assault on the Kyuubi as Minato created the barrier to contain Kyubi from escaping.

Kushina unleashed her chakra chains on the Kyubi to immobilize it. As Kushina held it in place, Minato noticed how weak Kushina was getting since she is now the former Jinchuriki of Kyuubi. So having the Kyubi ripped apart from her was leading to her death. She wanted to protect the 3 people that she loved the most by making sure the Kyubi was gone for now.

Minato saw what she was doing and decided to do what he needed to do not only for Konoha but also for the future. He stopped Kushina before she started to seal the Kyubi inside her again.

"Kushina don't… As the one, who did not make me Hokage, but a man and now a father to my son's that you gave me… I can't let you die like this." Stated Minato

"B-but… M-M-Min..ato… this is… the only… w-way …I-I-I… c-c-can be…sure to… s-s av-e the… the three of you…" gasped Kushina

"Kushina" tearful Minato

"D-d-don't cry…after all… to-today… is… o-our son's… birthday… the… only thing I regret… is… not to… be able to… see them… grow up…" said Kushina

Minato was speechless as Kushina continued on, "but… thinking about… it… all… of us… being o-one… family… I-I couldn't be… anymore… happier… than that…" smiled Kushina

Minato was silent for a moment until he had a look of determination on his face. "Kushina… save your strength... you're going to need that in order to see Naruto and Menma again." Stated Minato

Kushina was confused until Minato said, "I Will seal your remaining chakra inside the menma with the Hakke Fuin. Then I will take the Kyubi down with me since I'm not a host, I can use Shiki Fujin!" while gently placing menma & naruto on the ground.

Kushina was afraid of this because, if Minato used the sealing power, then he would die. But Minato thought back on what happened earlier tonight and told Kushina what he realized. It was because a masked man attacked Kushina that all this happened. He then thought about what Jiraya said about the "Child of Prophecy" and he believed now that it was one of his sons since they were born at this moment in time. He told Kushina that he would seal the yang half along with Kushina with the Hakke, while he takes down the yin half with him in death.

But before the blonde 4th Hokage of Konoha could he fell down to his knees coughing with blood dripping down to his chin. It seems as though the battle between the masked man and defending the village has taken its toll on him. As Kushina sees this she cries out "Minato!" And tries to reach out to him and keep the nine tails still at bay trapped within her golden chains.

With hiruzen

As he followed the sound of the nine tails still trying to cause havoc he quickly appeared outside the barrier and saw Kushina holding down the tailed beasts with her adamantine sealing chains with Minato coughing up blood. He quickly summoned his staff to repeatedly hit the barrier to break through the barrier and enter.

After more concentrated hits with his staff, the barrier started to crack due to the state both the fourth Hokage's wife and the hero of the 3rd shinobi war himself are in with the barrier now destroyed. He then ran at blinding speed to their location hoping to make it in time.

Flashback

When Gamabunta landed on the Kyubi, the 3rd saw Minato getting ready to use his Hirashi no Jutsu to teleport them to another location, where the Kyubi won't cause any more damage. The 3rd quickly went to the Kyubi and touched its back, just in time as Minato teleported them to the area.

There, the 3rd saw Minato putting up the barrier to keep the Kyubi contained. The 3rd was ready to help out Minato, when he saw him bring forth Kushina, from what he guessed, as his newborn son.

He heard Kushina going to sacrifice herself to save Minato and the children, but the 3rd heard what Minato said he was going to do, and overheard the masked person attacking Kushina. The 3rd heard what Minato said and couldn't help but agree with the decision. Of course, he had other plans since now he needed to ensure that Minato lived through this, as well as Kushina. The 3rd was ready to use a special jutsu that he learned for such an acquisition like this ever came up.

Unannounced to everyone, the 3rd taught himself a bit of fuinjutsu in case of emergency. He decided to use the same jutsu as well on the Kyubi to spare Minato, as well as use another jutsu that would save Kushina's life since he knew both their children would need them in order to one day be able to fight the masked man.

End of flashback

The 3rd Hokage appeared and knocked out Minato with a quick chop on the back. Kushina was surprised to see him here. Kushina was about to ask him but was silent when the 3rd said that he would perform the jutsu instead as well as save her life. "Lord 3rd… y-you can't… the… the… vile… village needs…. You…" spoke injured Kushina.

"No, the village needs Minato more since he is young, while your children not only need their father but need their mother even more. I overheard everything that Minato said… and I have to agree with this decision… but instead, I would be the one to do it…" stated hiruzen.

Kushina gasped in surprise, but before she could argue with him, the 3rd spoke, "Kushina… I'm old… I have lost my wife because of the masked man… the only thing I could do now, as my final act is secure the future for not only your sons… but also for the next generation, which you and Minato must lead." He started as he started the hand seals.

The 3rd unleashes the powerful Shiki Fujin on the Kyubi. He ripped apart half of Kyubi's soul and sealed it within menma. The old Hokage was amazed at how powerful it was since its chakra weakened his old body.

As the 3rd seals the Yin half of its chakra into the firstborn. Kushina made her way to Minato and got a bit of his blood to perform the summoning jutsu, she was able to summon Gamatoru, the sealing toad, to the battlefield.

The 3rd saw this and thought it was good timing since he is running out of chakra himself because he started the Hakke Fuin. The toad was surprised to be summoned like this. The 3rd explained what was happening, and gave him the key to Kyubi. He accepted and went to Jiraya to hide and explain it to him

Once it was done, the 3rd was about to seal the rest of Kyubi into Naruto. But something odd happened which went unnoticed by everyone but him but he has no time to dwell on it.

A dim light started to engulf Naruto. It appears he messed up With the hand sign for the jutsu, the shinigami, who had the 3rd and Kyuubi souls ready to be devoured into his stomach, where they would battle for all eternity.

Before that, the 3rd used the last of his strength to perform one last jutsu, which he used the last bit of his strength to seal the other half of Kyuubi into Kushina's body when the nine tails were being extracted from her as its chakra started to heal some of the wounds that she received after is extraction and after childbirth. Pleased by seeing this, Hiruzen let out a sigh of relief.

Kushina would now live, which was good since the 3rd saw Minato starting to wake up from being unconscious.

"With this… I can leave the future of Konoha to this family… since I know that they can shape the boy's path toward his destiny. I know that they would help lead his generation to a brighter future when the time comes." Thought the 3rd as he died with a sad but bright smile.

Kushina was saddened that the 3rd died in front of her eyes, but she was also very grateful for his self-sacrifice since not only did he save her life, but her family as well as all of Konoha.

She saw Minato starting to stir. As she did, she heard her boy sleeping peacefully. She couldn't be any happier knowing that she and Minato can be with their children. Of course, it didn't last for long since a strange light appeared around her son. Kushina gasped and tried quickly to get to him. But before she could reach him, he disappeared in a flash of white light In the dark of night.

As Minato began to rise, he heard his wife starting to sob. She was crying because of the disappearance of her baby boy. Minato quickly asks Kushina what happened, which she tells him.

As reinforcements arrived, both Kushina and Minato just looked into the dark night sky and cried in tears, knowing that their family was lost and incomplete. As the shinobi gather and take the 3rd back to Konoha, Kushina makes a silent prayer for her son to be safe and return back to her arms.

Scene change

The bright sun was beaming in Los Angeles, California. where we saw two nuns who were gathering some apples and fruits to take back to the church. " Hey sister Gabrielle, have you filled your share of apples yet? Cause I have buckets full of oranges" questioned Elizabeth." No, I have a few more to go" answered Gabrielle.

As she continued to pick the apples from the tree until she heard faint crying in the distance. Thinking nothing about it. " Just probably the wind, " she thought and dismissed it.

A few moments later

The same dim light which engulfed baby naruto teleported him to a forest. Upon feeling the sun blazing down on him he started to sniff which then caused him to cry lightly until light wails turned into full-blown crying.

Attracting the two nuns Who weren't far off from his location.

"Hey Elizabeth, do you hear a child crying?" asked a stunned Gabrielle. "Yes, but who would leave a baby in a forest?" Responded Elizabeth. "I don't know but let's find the poor thing, it's very chilly today".

The two nuns ran and listened to the child cry. They quickly found their target, a baby wrapped up in a light blue security blanket with red whirlpool necklaces around the blanket.

As they approached the child they saw a tuft of red hair on its head. Quickly but carefully, Gabrielle took the child in her arms and hummed lightly to calm down the distraught child.

As if sensing the warmth that she is producing, the red-haired child's cries lessen until he is sleeping quietly in her arms. "Wow, you made the little guy fall asleep and made it look easy! "Softly exclaimed Elizabeth.

Who peered down her shoulder to examine the child. The child from what she can see has very red hair which slightly surprises her since it's uncommon for someone from California to have that shade of red. "Well let's get going and gather our baskets and take the guy inside "spoke Gabrielle which broke her train of thought. "Alright " responded Elizabeth.

After picking up their basket of oranges and apples. They walked in silence until Elizabeth turned to Gabrielle and asked "what will you name the guy? Since he needs a name to be called.".

After looking down at the snoring and peaceful baby in her secure arms a lightbulb appeared in her head. "Humm what about nova since he has red hair and blue eyes from what I saw plus it's a very unique name don't you think" excitedly answered Gabrielle.

As she looked at her fellow nun.

Childish Elizabeth went into a thinking pose and lightly snapped her fingers." It's a cute name" she exclaimed softly they both shared a quiet chuckle. Gabrielle Looked down at the now-named child and she couldn't help thinking "nova Nightshade Uriah "As she and Elizabeth started to walk to the church.

Second chapter

In the end, I hope you enjoy this story as this is my first time writing and publishing a story so don't go too hard on me in the review I accept constructive criticism but I will ignore all flames. until next time
