Chapter 5: Joining the seals
When Nova woke up he found himself inside his room confused as to how he got there. He pushed off his blanket. And went downstairs and found his mother sipping some tea while eating some bagels with cream cheese as the topping.
As Gabrielle turned to face her son she asked why was he sleeping in the backyard. He answered that he was meditating when he started to feel lightheaded and he blacked out. As she stood up and walked up to him " do you want some headache medicine" he shook his head and muttered he is fine now.
Time-skip
Nova was allowed to Skip to the 3rd grade due to his high intelligence and strong grasp of information when the teacher was teaching. His teacher didn't want to see his talent wasted and requested he go to 3rd grade. Since every material he taught him he got it right away, highly impressed all of the other teachers.
As Nova went up to the 3rd grade he began to feel bored, not because he couldn't understand the assignment given to him by his female teacher but because he found it increasingly easy to understand. Sighed" I wonder how Uncle Dallas and father are doing in the war," he thought.
Time-skip
A year has passed and now Nova is in middle school as he breezes through elementary school at the age of 7
A/N Kakashi graduated from the academy at five years old. Nova is somewhat similar to Kakashi in this story as he walks in the hallway he sees many of the male students looking at him with shocked faces and others with frowns because he passed elementary so early and is considered to be a child prodigy.
As nova looks down at his schedule and finds his 1st-period teacher's classroom number on it. It seems it's upstairs as finds the staircase and walks up it as he looks for his classroom and knocks on the door as one of the students opens the door to let him in.
Time-skip
It is now 5th period and nova is sitting patiently for the bell to ring as he looks at the window to his left he feels someone tapping him on the shoulder and turns to find one of his classmates to be the one tapping him " yes suki" yes from avatar the last air bender he asks the 9-year-old. Why do you look so down? She questioned him with confusion. He didn't answer, he just pointed to the class as she turned her head she can't help but sweat drop. As the classroom seems to be glaring at them. The boy's at the redhead boy and the girl at the brown head girl.
As Nova walked up to the bus and sat down he felt someone pushing him to the window. As he glared at Suki who didn't seem to be paying attention to him at the moment.
As the final students filled the seats the bus driver closed the door and drove off. As nova was enjoying the music he was playing in his ear but that wouldn't last long before suki elbowed him to get his attention. He removed one of his earbuds to listen to what suki was saying.
So any guesses as to why the classroom was glaring at us? She asked
Probably because the guys were mad I stole all of the girl's attention and for you was probably because you were sitting close to me he accurately guessed.
Time-skip
It's been 3 years now and Nova was 10 he decided to not graduate Middle School early because he and Ty lee have become good friends with each other. But there were some issues and unexplained things that had happened.
Flashback
As nova was in PE class doing laps and participating in the exercise he found himself to be the only runner as all the other students were on the floor sweating and painting out of breath from doing 29 laps. As he was going on his 37 laps he heard the PE teacher blowing the whistle telling the students to take a break.
One of Nova's Peers asked him how can still be running and not even a single drop of sweat or even panting. " I've always had massive stamina and could run for hours and not be tired". He answered. A/N it's the Uzumaki stamina.
End of flashback
And another moment happened while in football practice. After showcasing his stamina the PE teacher told the football coach of my stamina and strength capabilities as to how I can do more pushups than kids who are 2 or 3 years older than me
Flashback
After I was introduced to the football coach he told me if I wanted to play I needed to give my parents this slip that gives me permission to play. Although my mother was slightly concerned that I might get a bit injured she still signed it with her signature. And handed it back to me.
The next day I turned in my permission slip and was now able to play for the Bears. Later on, in practice, we were lifting and doing upper body exercises. When it was my turn to go to the bench press I was easily able to do 115 lbs. It was pretty obvious to the others as well so the couch wanted to see how much I can lift so he got more plates to the bar. In the end, I lifted up to 127 lbs.
It felt weird a bit because I was struggling slightly until I felt the same sensation when I meditated that one day and my muscles felt much stronger. I felt capable of lifting it.
End of flashback
Afterward, I found myself doing things that could be seen as superhuman as my strength increased and I can outrun most adults with my speed alone and my recovery speed is phenomenal. I can just rest for a few minutes and be fresh as a daisy and be ready to go again.
When I joined the football team I was given the wide receiver position and became more famous in my school by getting more points on the leaderboards and winning the school championship trophy. After he won the championship trophy he sadly decided to quit the team much to the dismay of not only his coach but the team.
His main reason for playing football was because of the joy and excitement he felt when he stepped on the field but he felt like he was solo carrying the whole team and they weren't even trying hard since they know he can just outrun or out muscle the opponent.
Time-skip
On the last day of school, I finally confessed my true feelings for my best friend suki and she accepted and reciprocated back. And we began dating and I took her on many dates. I've even taken her to see my mother and she approved of our relationship and granny Vanessa was giddy for me.
As the couple lay on the couch watching television, Suki scooted closer to her boyfriend and leaned on his chest while he played with her brown hair. As they continued to watch TV until an ad came up as Suki looked at her redhead boyfriend she asked what he will do when they graduate high school. His response was " I will enlist in the Navy Seals and hopefully pass to become a seal".
Suki was confused because he has never mentioned anything about going to the military before. Upon seeing her confusion he elaborated. " I always was inspired by my family but I didn't want to scare my mother so I kept it a secret. She just nodded as the ad seemed to be finished.
Time-skip
As Nova was on his bed playing an open-person shooting game he received a text from his mother telling him that she would be coming home late and told him to order some food if he was hungry as well for grandma. He texts back saying he will and to stay safe.
The next day
He was staying in Ty Lee's house with her parent's permission of course as the couple of 3 years were engaged in a heated makeout session with their hands touching and squeezing each other's body. As they were exchanging saliva inside their mouths they separated for a minute to catch their breaths.
But unfortunately, they had to get off one another when Ty Lee's mother called for them to get downstairs for lunch as they fixed the clothes and made sure to look presentable. The couple held each other's hands and walked to the kitchen.
In Konoha
It was 12 years after the Kyuubi attack
Right now in his office, the 4th was working and reading some documents. As he read them, his mind would sometimes wander from his work to his family. He looks at the pictures that were on his desk. As he looked at them, he could help but think about what has happened over the years.
3 days after the Kyuubi attack, the 4th announced how Kyuubi was defeated by the great 3rd Hokage by sacrificing his life in exchange for saving his life.
He decided not to announce that the Kyuubi was sealed inside the firstborn and in Kushina as he thought about the oldest he hoped that he was still alive since, for all he knew, Naruto might be dead now. As the funeral for the 3rd and the shinobi, who fought the Kyuubi, completely finished, Minato turned to other situations in fixing the village.
After a few years of working and rebuilding, Konoha was once again back to its original form. During those years, the village was starting to prosper very well, especially after 5 years of working.
The 4th couldn't help but look at the picture next to the picture where he and pregnant Kushina were in. Next to it, was Kushina holding onto a baby in her arms. Except this baby was a little redheaded girl.
Even though they decided not to have another child because of Naruto, fate decided to give them another chance of being a family with Naruko, his now 7-year-old daughter.
As Minato thought about what had happened, he couldn't help but think about his long-lost son. Even though he declared Naruto dead, in the back of his mind, he thought that he was alive; this was even more so since Kushina was convinced that Naruto was dead since she can feel it in her heart.
Minato thought that it was the mother's instincts about it, but he knew never to question a mother's bond toward their child. He even asked his most trusted people to look for him or to find some clue to help bring him back home (Jiraiya, Tsunade, Kakashi, etc).
His thoughts were interrupted when he remembered that in a few days, the genin graduation exam. As he thought about the exam, he couldn't help but think of his own son, that he should be in this exam like the others in his age group. As he thought about it, someone else was thinking the same thing.
Namikaze mansion
Currently making lunch for a little girl and her husband that was going to arrive for his meal soon Kushina. Kushina Uzumaki Namikaze, the wife of Minato Namikaze, the 4th Hokage. She usually spends her time between home and working in the hospital as a nurse to sometimes teach future kunoichi in the academy.
As she cooked, she couldn't help but see her playful daughter Naruko running around the backyard. Kushina just watched Naruko play with 1 of the summoning toads that Minato summoned. As Kushina watched Naruko she also kept her guard from 1 time when was young; an Iwa assassin was able to sneak inside Konoha and almost killed naruko if Kushina hadn't sensed the person at the last minute.
As Kushina looked on, she couldn't help but imagine that the toad was her Naruto playing with her and Naruko having her older brother to look up to.
She remembered all the nights that she would sometimes stay awake until it was the middle of the night to early morning, just to look out into the stars, hoping her son was watching the same thing.
She remembered all the prayers that she made before going to sleep since deep in her heart, she can still feel her son was still alive, growing up stronger and stronger within her every day. As she looked at Naruko, she felt like something was going to happen soon, something that would change everything.
Back to California
Time-skip
It was now the last week of high school and currently, and nova has grown to 5'8, his red hair has been cut short again, back to where it was when he was a child in his time-line, and his physical features have become sharp with all hints of fat gone from his face and was built like a beast, with broad shoulders and large but sculpted muscles making him have a superhero physique.
Which makes all the students and teachers envious as he has no shame in revealing his Greek godlike body. As he is waiting for his girlfriend to arrive at the location he told her to meet up as he began to remember what his uncle told him.
Flashback
As Dallas knocked at his door he went and twisted the doorknob and allowed his uncle to step in and sat down on the bed.
As Dallas sat at the other end of the bed there was a brief silence until Dallas broke it. " so I heard you want to join the navy Seals nova". I nodded my head. He shook his head and sighed before he talked again. " Look there is no easy way of saying this but I think you should break up with your girlfriend" I was completely caught off guard by his response. What! Why, I-I-I love her and might someday marry her a-a-and we have a happy and loving-"kid!".
My uncle shouted I'm telling you because of her. '' Before I could respond he slowly rose his hand up and said "let me explain before you say anything " I nodded he once again signed and rubbed his neck" the reason why I'm telling you this is because if you do graduate the navy Seals school and become a seal do you honestly think you will have time to date? And keep your relationship healthy. You will be gone for 12+ months and even if you graduate early you will still be called in for deployment.
So you see nephew it won't be fair for either of you .. just think about what I said okay.
As he left I started to think and realized he was right and I can't bring myself to bring that much pain to her. It would be unfair to her as I shed a silent tear.
End of flashback
I broke off my thoughts when I felt a vibration on my phone and saw that she couldn't leave since she had to babysit her little sister. "Damn it " I cussed and had to sadly leave a long and detailed apology in text.
As he drove off to the Naval amphibious base Coronado to enlist for the seals. As he already sent in the applications online and had all of his legal documents ready he already said his goodbyes to his family and friends and left a distraught mother before hugging her one last time and kissing her on the cheek.
As he arrived at the building he knew that he'll miss his family and now ex-girlfriend but he couldn't wait for this next chapter in his life.
