It was a hot and sunny day for the country of Japan today. Still, that didn't stop the pink-haired girl known as Chibiusa from putting the finishing touches on another one of her potions. The glass bottle had tape wrapped around with the writing, 'DON'T DRINK! GROWTH POTION!' Chibiusa smiled as she looked down at the bottle full of purple liquid.
"Teehee! Another growth potion finished! I can't wait to drink this after school… it'll be fun to be giant again!" Chibiusa said.
"Chibiusa! Hurry up! We're going to be late for school!" Usagi shouted from downstairs.
"Alright, I'm coming!" Chibiusa said as she got up and left the bedroom, leaving the growth potion behind on the nightstand.
Chibiusa came running down the stairs and then slipped her feet into her red dress shoes, all while she was getting berated by Usagi.
"You little brat! Don't you know what time we're supposed to be leaving by now!?" Usagi shouted.
"Ah, who cares? You're always late anyway." Chibiusa said as she briefly stuck her tongue out.
"What's that supposed to mean!?" Usagi said. As the two went walking out the front door, Ikuko Tsukino waved them goodbye.
"Be careful, you two, have a good day!" Ikuko said as the door slammed shut. The blue-haired woman brushed her light green shirt with long sleeves and then the rest of her white and orange dress. Then she sighed, realizing she was all by herself in the house. Shingo had already left for school, Usagi and Chibiusa just departed, and Luna was spending the day with Mina and Artemis (at least according to Usagi). And of course Kenji was out working. This really and truly left Ikuko to her lonesome.
"(sigh) Well, might as well get to house cleaning. With everyone gone, there's no better time than now!" Ikuko said.
A couple hours later, Ikuko figured out quickly how hot today was as she wiped more sweat coming down her forehead.
"Whew… sure is a warmer than usual day. I wonder why that is? The weatherman said this is something that couldn't be predicted. Oh well, I just have to tough it out." Ikuko said with a smile. She was dusting off almost anything she could lay eyes on in the living room, and then she set her sights on the stairs be conitnued
