Far away, in a land completely unbeknownst to many, there lived an old master named Gohan, who found a baby boy abandoned in the region. The master raised the boy as his own child, who marveled to become uncommonly strong. Now the boy, known as Goku, has become the single guardian of the master's most mystical possession.
"I know you can't really talk to me, Grandpa. But wherever you are, wish me luck! I'll catch a big fish for you, I promise!" - Goku
Goku, at his house, heads off into the woods to hunt fish for dinner, by going underwater. The fish tries to bite him, but he luckily uses his feet to kick the fish, and grab its tail up in the ground. A nearby girl is driving through the mountains, searching for something. When Goku is trying to go back to home, the girl's vehicle crashes into Goku, making him jump.
"I hit him!"
"You evil beast! Come out of your shell!" - Goku
"No! Wait!"
Goku grabs the girl's vehicle from its bottom, and smashes it nearby, breaking off the tires.
"If you want my food, them come fight me!" - Goku
"Holy shit..."
"What's this weird goblin man...?" - Goku
"How dare you!"
The girl shoots Goku with her gun, putting scars on Goku's body.
"What the heck was that? Black magic?" - Goku
"What? You aren't dead?"
"Take this, green goblin!" - Goku
"Wait I'm a human!"
"Hu—men?" - Goku
"S..Sure!"
Goku checks the girl out, we still have to know her name, unless you're familiar with the series. Her shirt reads "Bulma", could be a hint.
"You seem to look weak and soft. Unusual for people I have seen." - Goku
"Well, I'm a girl!"
"The first human I've seen besides me and Grandpa." - Goku
"Fuck?"
"Grandpa always told me, if I ever met a girl, I should be nice to her." - Goku
"So you live with him, right?"
"He died a long time ago." - Goku
"Well, umm..."
"You also don't have a tail!" - Goku
"A tail?"
"And what's this machinery?" - Goku
"A car!"
"I've heard about car... Wait, aren't you from the city?" - Goku
"Yeah."
"Come to my house then! I'll feed you some food since you're girl!" - Goku
"Oh boy..."
Goku and his friend enter the house.
"Grandpa! A girls actually came to our house!" - Goku
("Girls?")
"By the way, what is your name?"
"Son Goku! And back?" - Goku
"Bulma." - Bulma
("A Dragon Ball!") - Bulma
"What are you doing-" - Goku
"Give me this!" - Bulma
"Stop touching Grandpa!" - Goku
"This...? Grandpa?" - Bulma
"Yeah! This is the only thing he left by for me to remember him! Nobody can touch him! Especially girls! " - Goku
"Look!" - Bulma
Bulma shows Goku two Dragon Balls.
"Two Grandpas?" - Goku
"No silly, there're not granddads, there're Dragon Balls!" - Bulma
"Dragon Balls...?" - Goku
"Yeah! You're ball is reacting to the other ones by glowing! Try putting yours next to them." - Bulma
"Holy..." - Goku
"I found one in the cellar at home and wondered what it was, so I asked a bunch of people, but nobody knew. After doing a lot of research, I found a document that finally showed the truth. The Dragon Balls are all 7 in total, and have stars on them, numbering 1 to 7." - Bulma
"Grandpa has 4 on his!" - Goku
"Then I found another one 10 days ago after searching in a valley. They're both 2 stars and 5 stars respectively." - Bulma
"So you're searching for them?" - Goku
"Basically. I heard a wish will come out of it. Apparently a guy collected them all and became a king. But that was a long time ago, so they must've gotten separated again. But there must be a way the hunt will go on! Maybe we should go hunt for the balls!" - Bulma
"Hunt for the balls?" - Goku
"Yeah! We can see many people and things, and your grandpa would be very proud!" - Bulma
"Grandpa will be proud for seeing new things?" - Goku
"You haven't even seen the ocean? Or the towns of people, and you'll probably even see other creatures too!" - Bulma
"Wow. Pretty sure I'll come! But you're not getting my ball." - Goku
"That's fine... We'll just borrow it after all the other balls get together." - Bulma
("Doesn't matter... As long as I get my wish...") - Bulma
And so, the two headed off for their search of the Dragon Balls.
