The Baby I Really Want

It had been ten years since the class of College Francoise Dupont graduated, and had moved on to other lives. Some of them went on to universities, others went on to work various jobs to survive in the outside world. Some even went on to either get married, start families, or both. One particular person, Chloe Bourgeois was focused on neither. The only career she had in mind ever since she and her classmates went their separate ways was to hopefully move to New York City to begin her modeling career. As of now however, she has been focusing on two things: helping boost her daddy's political career, and reluctantly being an assistant for her mother's modeling and magazine career. While Audrey herself learned to be more loving and respectful towards her daughter as she grew up, she refused to drop her stern attitude towards Chloe the more she helped or worked for her. Despite this all, Chloe did dream about being a mother; in fact, she didn't care who she had it with, as long as she had a child, that's all that made her happy.

Over time, the rich blonde girl eventually came to realize that she and her childhood friend, Adrien Agreste were never going to be. Luckily, the two stayed in contact as Adrien himself was proud to see how mature his best friend had become. During high school, she was the one who finally came clean and told Marinette that they didn't have to be rivals anymore. She admitted that she was always jealous of the success the half French; half Chinese girl always had; feeling shameful that she herself could never earn or receive it. During a school project the two girls once had, it was Marinette that taught her that if she wanted to be successful, she would have to work for it. Obviously, growing up with money on her side, that hearing fell on deaf ears for Chloe. However, since it was the rich girl's idea to finally make amends with her childhood rival, she sucked it up and took it as it was. Therefore, that's what caused Chloe to learn to not only be nicer, but to also learn to work for what you wanted.

After graduating from high school, the first thing the rich blonde did was walk up to her mother and confess to her that she wanted to be a model, and was willing to put in work to achieve her dream. At first, Audrey felt a bit hesitant to allow her offspring to work for her in order to be a model, but when she saw how much of a hard worker her little girl had become, she agreed to it. Under the condition that she had to be her assistant if she wanted to learn the secret of modeling and fashion.

"You want the career, you work for it!" Audrey demanded in her usual stern tone, but added a bit of confidence and surprisingly, a little pinch of love and affection into the mix. The truth is while Chloe did love the modeling world, she wasn't doing it to be a model, she was doing it to save up money and finally focus on her real dream: motherhood. Granted, she did still have plans to do the former, but the more she became a mature adult, the more she thought of herself as a mother. She wasn't exactly sure why she liked said dream, just something about the idea of cradling a small baby that belonged to her in her own arms made her feel special, it made her feel happy, it made her be the one thing she never got as a kid: an actual mom. When she told the truth to her other best friend, Sabrina Raincomprix during a night in one of Paris' most famous bars, the glasses wearing redhead squealed in delight.

"Oh Chloe, I'm so happy!" Sabrina cheered as she hugged her best friend. Much like their childhood, Chloe didn't feel any affection towards her redhead companion. This was not because of her snobby attitude, but because she wasn't sure if she wanted to tell her the actual truth on why she really wanted to be a mom. Sabrina obliviously thought it was because her best friend wanted to continue the Bourgeois legacy. Usually, something like that would make the blonde snap, but A: She already heard enough of that from other folks when she confessed her dream; B: She knew it wasn't Sabrina's fault for being so naive; and C: Her inability to tell the truth, made her feel it was unnecessary to snap at her close friend over one small mistake. Therefore, all the blonde could do was simply smile and just thank Sabrina for her support.

"I really hope you find the right man to have a baby with Chloe!" The redheaded pal chirped with happiness, but Chloe's face ended up red with embarrassment. As it turns out there was something else that prevented her from having kids.

During her high school days, the more time she spent getting to know Marinette, the more Chloe felt a burning sensation inside of her. She had no idea what it was, but whenever the blonde felt close to the mixed race girl, something inside her stomach and throat burned, and swelled up. The worst part was: she had no clue on how to control it!

Something about the dark-haired girl during their high school times made the rich, blonde girl feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside, and it made her feel all sick and nauseating. Not the "Oh, I'm so sick, I'm gonna puke" nauseating, but the "Oh my gosh, I'm so anxious, I got butterflies in my stomach" nauseating. She wasn't sure if it was how calm, gentle, and patient Marinette was around her or how proud, bold, and confident she was around Marinette. Either way, she loved the feeling. It felt like some yin-yang symbolism she felt towards her once rival now friend.

As Chloe continued to feel those feelings, it became too much to bear for her. She grew to hate that feeling. Eventually, she had no choice. She needed help. Badly. So, she chose to seek help from the school's guidance counselor, a cousin of Miss. Bustier.

"Do happiness and cheerfulness run in their bloodline?" Chloe thought to herself in disgust. She was reluctant during her first visit, but the more she listened to that blood-related clone of her old teacher, the more tolerable she was towards the blonde. Afterwards, the cousin of Miss. Buster revealed what was the cause of Chloe's troubles:

"You have a crush on Marinette!"

CRUSH?! Chloe felt herself panic on the inside. Crush, no way! It felt impossible. How could she have a crush on or possibly be in love with Marinette?! A girl?!

Her father: the mayor of Paris, didn't have a problem with gay, trans, or LGBT people in general. She was more concerned about her reputation, her image; her family! If word got out that the Bourgeois' daughter was a lesbian, it could have caused a scandal, maybe even controversy. She would be eyed by her peers with shock, despair, or even worse: Her friends could've abandoned her! Oh no, not her friends! She didn't want Marinette to see her as a freak! More worrying was the thought of Adrien ending their friendship to preserve his family's image. The only other person she could think of was Sabrina, and all she could picture was the redhead rejecting her, even as a friend. Overwhelmed with fear, the blonde broke down into tears. All Miss. Bustier's cousin could do: was comfort the poor girl.

"Hey sweetie," the sweet relative of the mentioned teacher comforted her crying patient, patting her on the back and offering a tissue box. "It's gonna be alright, you're only young." She said while handing her a bottle of water. She was patient with Chloe, understanding exactly what she was going through.

"You got a long way ahead of you," the counselor blissfully replied. "You may not know if this is what you really want." Chloe looked up at her while sniffling.

"You really think so?" The blonde asked, tears poured down her eyes.

"As long as you are comfortable and happy with yourself, everything's gonna be okay." All the blonde could do was simply smile and thank her former teacher's cousin for the prep talk. Ever since that though, Chloe wasn't really sure if she actually liked girls or not due to her insecurities. She thought if she dated boys or got into a relationship with any male, she would soon get over her crush on Marinette. Alas that just ended up worsening her problems, to the point where she would get actual panic attacks and meltdowns. One night, she even had one in her sleep. She dreamt about a life with Marinette, a happy life. This only added to her doubt and fears. Thankfully no one, not her parents, nor Butler Jean heard it. Still, the blonde still felt frightened of herself and what thoughts were trembling in her head.

As a result, these were the two reasons why Chloe believed she couldn't have her own kids: One, she felt scared and unsure of her sexuality; and Two, now she felt worried on how she was gonna have kids. Adoption wasn't a bad idea, but she was so desperate to have her own biological kids. She wanted something she never had as a child: a mother who loved her. One day, she invited Sabrina to her hotel and finally admitted her secret. Sabrina clapped her hand over her mouth when she found out.

"You're gay, Chloe?!" The redhead sidekick screamed in shock. Chloe quickly placed her hand on her mouth to shush her.

"You want the whole hotel to know, now shut up and listen!" The blonde snapped. Sabrina nodded as her best friend gently removed her hand from her.

Chloe began to calm down. She then eyed her bestie. "Okay Sabrina, listen carefully," the blonde assured her "I'm not exactly sure if I'm gay or not." The near-sighted gal started to debate.

"Well, while true that people don't always know their sexual orientation," Sabrina smiled a bit deviously at her blonde counterpart, which only caused her to raise an eyebrow. "I've seen the way you'd act around Marinette throughout high school!" The nerdy looking girl poked her friend at her sides as a way to be humorous.

"What?!" The rich girl shrieked with panic. This caused Sabrina to get serious.

"But I didn't tell anyone, I swear!" The timid redhead quickly calmed her friend. "No one ever noticed!" Chloe still felt unsure.

"Are you sure, Sabrina?" The wealthy blonde double checked with exasperation.

"Chloe, I'd been your second pair of eyes and ears all throughout our youthful years," The redhead continued to calm down, flashing a smile. "I'd seen the way you act, the reason why I never brought it was because I knew deep down, I knew who the real Chloe Marie Bourgeois was." Hearing these words made the blonde go from upset to curiosity as she looked into her pal's eyes.

"The real Chloe Bourgeois was someone that just had trouble with life, that's all. All she needed was some love and support to help her make it through," the redhead placed her hand on her childhood buddy's hand. "Luckily for her, she was able to get that from not only Adrien or even myself, but she was blessed enough to have gained it from the one and only Miss. Marinette Dupain-Cheng." Sabrina chirped.

"Wanna know why? Because Chloe finally saw the errors of her ways and Marinette herself felt proud to see that she was ready to change for the better." After hearing those wise words of confidence coming out of her mouth, Chloe happily teared up and threw herself on her supportive best friend. Sabrina first felt a bit of astonishment when the blonde reacted this way, but slowly smiled and returned the hug, rubbing her back gently.

"Thank you Sabrina," Chloe sniffled with joy.

"Hey that's what friends are for." Sabrina politely chirped back. "Besides, better me than that bitch Lila." The redhead chuckled, but her blonde bestie gagged.

"Don't remind me of her!"

Chloe, Sabrina, and all their friends almost immediately forgot about Lila. After their 8th Grade graduation, Lila was eventually, or in Marinette's point of view, finally, expelled from College Francoise Dupont after Alya Cesaire, Marinette's best friend, at last learned the truth about her lying behavior. Once during the week before graduation, Alya overheard Lila that she was gonna pull a dangerous prank involving firecrackers going off, hurting the students very badly. She intended to blame it on Marinette, so she wouldn't have to graduate and the Italian quoted "I will have the life Marinette Dupain-Loser wished she had!" The dark-skinned girl was relieved to have recorded the whole conservation in secret. Afterwards, Principal Damocles expelled Rossi for good and the evil exchange student flew back to Italy, never to be seen again. Chloe couldn't imagine the torture the Italian bitch would put her through if she ever found out the truth of her sexuality.

Chloe spent the afternoon in her hotel room, doing a little bit of yoga and meditation to help feel relaxation after coming out to her best friend. Helping her was her stuffed teddy bear Mr. Cuddly, her real first childhood friend. She put him on his own little mat as she kept flexing and stretching her muscles. Suddenly, a knock on her door was heard.

"Yes," called out the yogi blonde.

"Miss. Bourgeois," Butler Jean called out. "Mr. and Mrs. Agreste are here for a visit." Chloe gasped in excitement. This meant Adrien and Marinette had arrived. The blonde decided to end her yoga right there and quickly put on her casual clothes. She placed Mr. Cuddly on her bed and shouted back. "It's open," Jean gently opened the door and in came the married friends themselves.

"Marinette, Adrien, welcome!" The blue-eyed blonde happily welcomed the couple. They happily hugged the blonde and each gave her a simple peck on the cheek, a cultural French greeting. She returned the gesture.

"Sit, sit," Chloe kindly told her two friends, pulling out chairs for them all. Both of them smiled thankfully and took a seat.

"So, what brings you two to my home?" Chloe asked, sitting down as well. Adrien and Marinette smiled at each other vaguely.

"Well Chloe," Adrien first started. "We weren't really expecting to come to you, but we have a problem.

"Problem?!" Chloe gasped, Marinette quickly calmed the blonde.

"Oh no, not like that," the mixed race wife assured her. "We meant as in, you know it's now been a year since Adrien and I have been married, right?"

"Uh yeah, I was like your maid of honor, and I was the best, wasn't I?" Chloe boasted confidently.

"Yeah, but about that." The dark-haired girl sighed vaguely.

"It's been over a year since Adrien and I wanted to have a child."

Chloe eventually knew where this was going.

"Wait, if it's been a year, then that means," The blonde examined the couple's frowns, she froze in thought for a moment before the realization hit her.

"Oh no," she gasped. "Marinette, Adrien, I'm so sorry you both have to deal with this!" Chloe did her best to comfort her two best friends, unfortunately Marinette began tearing up.

"We tried every time whenever we got the chance, yet it would always lead to a miscarriage!" The dark-haired girl began to sob. "The worst part was, after our honeymoon we went to the doctor and we found out that I was infertile!" Chloe let out another gasp. She never expected Marinette, the Marinette Dupain-Cheng to struggle with something like infertility. She always felt Marinette had a perfect life, so she was the last person she expected to have this problem. Then again, everyone else thought that Chloe herself had the perfect life up until the ninth grade; thus causing her to change her behavior after realizing that her hatred towards Marinette wasn't going nowhere in the end, so maybe in a way, this could help her in a way understand what the two were going through? She handed the dark-haired girl a box of tissues. All she could do was comfort her and so she did.

"Marinette, Adrien… I'm sorry." She wept, doing her best not to crack herself. "I honestly wouldn't know how to feel about this, but I can understand how bad this is for you guys."

"It's not your fault, Chloe." Adrien assured the blonde. "But, this is why we came to you."

"What?" The blonde answered, surprised. Marinette blew her nose, it took her a moment to talk normally again, but once she stopped sniffling, she tearfully smiled at the blonde.

"Chloe, we would like to know," Marinette flashed a smile towards her husband, who then smiled back and placed their hands together.

"Chloe Bourgeois, would you like to be our surrogate mother?" A firework went off in Chloe's body. Her face swelled up with crimson flesh, her hands and palms starting to sweat, and finally her heart began to beat rapidly. Oh no, a panic attack was happening!

Before anything could happen, Chloe began to hyperventilate. Her breathing sped up, she was certain her heart was going to explode, even the room around her began to spin.

"Chloe, Chloe," her wedded friends noticed her panic, she was having a meltdown! The blonde suddenly put her knees to her chest, similar to what she did during her youthood, soon after she broke down into tears.

"Chloe, it's okay!" Adrien rubbed his friend's shoulders to relieve stress out of her. "You don't have to, if you don't want to." Marinette did the same, but before she could speak the blonde cut her off.

"No, no it's not that," Chloe sobbed. "It's just what about our other friends? Alya? Kagami? Shouldn't they be your first choices?"

Marinette handed her crying best friend a tissue.

"Well, they were," the daughter of two bakers began, "But the problem was everyone we went to was either busy with their lives or out of town; that's why we went to you Chloe." The blonde girl was still crying her eyes out.

"But, I don't know if I can!" Chloe still felt doubtful.

"Chloe," Adrien placed his hands on his childhood pal's shoulders and then the two locked eyes.

"I've known you my whole life, I've seen you grow and mature over the years, and I've seen you change over time." The blonde husband of Marinette stopped for a minute and took a deep breath. "I know it's a hard, life-challenging mission: Caring a baby for someone that's not yours." He took another deep breath, keeping himself as calm as he could. "However, look at this way: You're doing something for us. Think of it as returning the favor, for us helping you learn how to be nicer during high school." Once he finished his explanation, Adrien flashed his iconic, confident smile which made Chloe feel a little bit happy.

"Do you think that's a fair share?" Seeing how trust-worthy and loyal her two best friends were able to choose her as their surrogate mother, the rich blonde young lady once more broke down and lunged herself on her married companions.

"Yes, yes I'll do it!" Chloe cried, but this time out of happiness and support. All three of them shared a hug out of relief and comfort.

One week later, the three went to the doctor for Chloe's surrogacy. For valid reasons, the blonde was nervous since she wasn't really sure if she was ready to do this, but she really was determined to follow through; knowing how much this meant to them. After some inspiring words from the couple and doctor as well, the daughter of Paris's mayor was able to undergo the surrogacy. An hour later, Chloe came out, and returned to the waiting room to meet up with the married couple. She calmly sighed.

"It's all ready to go." Marinette and Adrien both let out a sigh of relief. Once more, they thanked her for going through with the surrogacy.

About five weeks into her surrogacy, Chloe felt her baby, well faux-ish, baby bump growing. Even if it wasn't technically hers, the blonde made a vow to protect the baby as if it was her own. Not only for her life long friend, but for the love of her life as well. She was willing to give her a chance during their school days and help her find the happiness and love she deserved in the end. However, the only con side about this surrogacy was that it was only Marinette's baby, not hers and Marinette; and that's what made her upset.

Going back to her high school days, Chloe finally realized that she liked girls. It was at that time she discovered she was in love with the half-Asian girl all along. Unfortunately, all of her attempts to confess her feelings to the pigtailed girl ended in failures. She would either be too shy whenever she was around her, anonymously sign herself as a secret admirer, or call herself Adrien Agreste while she was giving the gifts she'd gotten for Marinette, much to her heartbreak. Adding to that, the blonde girl not only realized that she and Adrien were never meant to be, but that Marinette and Adrien were in love with each other, thus dooming her chances with the designer. As much as she hated it emotionally, Chloe secretly set them up; knowing it was the right thing to do. Mercifully, Chloe herself was able to cope with her two best friends together, but her feelings towards Marinette never went away; and that painful reminder is what hurt the most.

Chloe felt a burning lump in the back of her throat and held onto her stomach as she fell to her knees; crying.

"Don't worry little one," she whispered to the unborn child. "Mama Chloe will be there for you, and your real mama too." The blonde wept and wept as time passed by.

A couple more weeks passed by and Chloe and the Agrestes were at the ultrasound appointment. Everyone, including the doctor herself was surprised to see how big Chloe's surrogate bump was getting. It got to the point where those around her thought she was the mother. Furthermore, one little girl while they were in the waiting room stated that the blonde "would be a pretty mommy."

"Oh she definitely would be," Adrien replied.

"Especially when she's the one helping us become a mommy and daddy both." Marinette added as she gently placed her hand on Chloe's belly; though of course this action made the surrogate mother blush with concern and love in her face, but thankfully no one was able to recognize the reaction.

"Alright," the doctor who was in charge of Chloe's surrogacy progress came up to the three. "So the results look excellent; Chloe, you and the baby look very healthy, no signs of problems whatsoever. Just keep making sure you're eating right, no alcohol or smoking, and do your best to keep the both of you safe and healthy." Chloe flashed a smile.

"Thank you doctor," both the blonde and her married friends blushed happily as both parties grabbed her hands with ease.

"Before you all go, would you guys like to know what gender the baby is?" The doctor asked happily.

"Yes please, what is it doctor?" Marinette chirped.

"Mr. and Mrs. Agreste," started the doctor, "you both will be having a baby girl!" The trio's faces lit up.

"That's wonderful," psyched Adrien.

"Congratulations guys," Chloe sweetly replied to them.

"No Chloe, congratulations to you for helping us have this baby girl." The half-Asian said, tearing up. She patted Chloe's stomach and hugged her.

"Yeah, I'm happy for you Marinette." The rich surrogate cried out, hugged her crush back. While she was happy for both her best friends, the fact that Chloe was not going to be raising this child with Marinette ended up cutting deep, deeper than she was letting on.

It was now month five in Chloe's pregnancy, a stressful five months. Not only was she having mood swings and crazy food cravings, but it was also because whenever she was out in public, someone would ask her things like when it's due or how long she's been pregnant, but the one that upset her the most was who the father was. That last one always pained Chloe, she wished she was sharing this baby with the girl she was in love with. It broke her heart that she would never get that chance. Furthermore, dinner time with her parents was bad enough whenever the Bourgeois matriarch tried to make small talk with her pregnant daughter.

"So, uh, Chloe darling," Audrey began as she cut a piece of her chicken. "This surrogate thing, when does it end again?"

"I have about four more months, the doctor said on the last visit."

"Hmph, about time already." Chloe's mother replied very snob-like. "If they were to add another month, I'd freak!" Andre, Audrey's husband, came to defend their daughter.

"Now now, Audrey dear, I think it's a good idea that Chloe is helping her two close friends with having a child."

"Not what I meant, Andre," Audrey started to argue. "Our last name may be Bourgeois, but she is also a Visage." Chloe raised an eyebrow at her mother.

"Mom, I don't know what you're talking about." The fashion designer just scoffed. "As in, if my own mother saw what I was doing without a hand in marriage, she'd flip!"

The surrogate mom just choked on her drink once she heard that statement.

"Audrey," Chloe's father spoke with disgust. "For the last time, Chloe is helping Marinette Agreste with," the greedy wife cut him off.

"Help with what, make a scandal out of herself?!" The blonde daughter did her best to hold in her anger.

"Trust me Andre, the last thing both of our families need is a big pregnancy misconception from our daughter with no partner." Chloe was now getting infuriated as she grinded her teeth together.

"What's that supposed to mean, mother?" Mrs. Bourgeois obliviously to her daughter's temper answered.

"It's already bad enough that you're pregnant without an actual grandchild, but if you were to do so without a partner, you would bring shame to my family." The pregnant daughter finally lost it.

"Who cares if I'm bringing shame to your side of the family and who cares if it's not your actual grandchild?!"

"Ch-Chloe sweetie, calm," Her father tried to calm her down, but she simply ignored him.

"All I ever was to you was a failure and all you ever did was neglect me!" Chloe yelled at her mom with rage. "You never once gave me a chance up until my graduation, but now that I'm pregnant without a real father, you suddenly go back to your old roots?!" The blonde child of the fashion designer screamed. "Well, my childhood and best friend both gave me a chance to carry their child, and if you can't accept it, then suck it up Cruella, because this is what I'm doing; for not just acceptance, but for loyalty!"After her angry rant, Chloe stomped away from both of her providers while huffing and puffing, leaving them both shocked at her recent behavior.

Finally, the pregnant girl made it upstairs to her bedroom and slammed her door shut. Feeling altogether frustrated, defeated, and heartbroken, Chloe fell to the floor and cried into her abdomen. After a brief second though, the blonde felt a little kick in her round tummy which made her feel better.

"Don't worry little baby, you'll be here soon." The pregnant one smiled as she rubbed her surrogate baby's room. "I'll keep you safe for now." Later that night, Audrey apologized to Chloe for her behavior during their dinner.

"I guess in the end, I'm just trying my best to still look out for you after all we've been through." Audrey revealed. "I know I'm not the perfect mother and never was, but seeing how willing you are to do something for your friends made me realize that is why I gave you a chance in the first place." The fashionista parent gave her daughter a light smile and shared a hug with her afterwards.

Four months have passed, thus Chloe was now ready to give birth with both Marinette and Adrien on her side as all three rushed into the hospital.

"Come on Chloe, you got this!" Adrien said, encouraging her to hold together until the delivery.

"Everything's gonna be fine, we promise!" Marinette added on. All Chloe herself could do was scream in agony and pain as she grasped onto the real parents' hands. The trio finally made it inside the hospital where the doctor of Chloe's surrogacy journey was waiting for them.

"Doctor Bernet," Marinette chirped. "Thank goodness, we found you!" Doctor Bernet safely pushed the pregnant blonde in a wheelchair and out of the married couple's hands.

"I'll take it from here, Mrs. Agreste." The doctor optimistically told them as she pulled Chloe into the elevator. All the couple could do was just hug each other in concern.

"You can do it, Chloe, we believe in you!" called out Adrien once the elevator permanently closed.

Half an hour later, Chloe was now in labour, screaming in pain the more she pushed out her friends' child.

"Alright Miss. Bourgeois, you got this," Doctor Bernet did everything to calm her patient down. "Just deep breaths," but Chloe refused to listen and instead kept crying in discomfort.

"Oh dear, a hard one." All the doctor could do now was try her best to keep the blonde in a calm state of mind despite the agony going on.

Another half an hour later, Chloe was still suffering while she kept pushing her crush's baby out.

"Come on Chloe, you can do it!" The blonde spoke to herself in her head. "Do it for Marinette, do it for your best friend, do it for your crush!" Finally an epiphany hit the surrogate blonde and now she knew what she had to do. At first, Chloe put herself in gear and then, as her last step, she began to take her deep breaths as requested by her doctor; thus making the latter smile. Lastly, two more hours have passed by and the infertile couple were ready to see their newborn child. The first thing they saw was an exhausted, yet happy looking Chloe holding the baby she not only helped create, but came to this world to the Agrestes.

Doctor Bernet addressed the couple with the good news. "Mr. and Mrs. Agreste, here is your daughter." The doctor and Chloe both introduced the newborn child as the blonde smiled lightly at the two new proud baby girl resembled both Marinette and Adrien very accurately; particularly her blonde hair and blue-green eyes that were definitely mixed from her both sets of parents. Marinette started to tear up joyfully.

"Oh Chloe, she's beautiful." The post-labor blonde smiled as she handed over the baby to her best friends.

"All healthy and beautiful," Adrien spoke up with a hand on his wife's shoulder. "Just like her godmother." He looked over at Chloe, who then gasped in astonishment.

"You mean," Chloe tried to speak, but Marinette spoke up next.

"Chloe Bourgeois, would you like to be the godmother to our daughter, Chloe Sabine Agreste?" When the happy words were told to her, the blonde bestie of the two broke down into a sob.

"Yes, yes I will!" The rich girl excitedly cried with hot tears pouring down her face. The married couple smiled at one another and both along with their child all cuddled up towards Chloe.

"Welcome to the family, Chloe Agreste and Chloe Bourgeois."

A day later, Chloe was out of the hospital; feeling relief that she and her newborn goddaughter were safe and healthy, feeling honored that she got to be the godmother to her best friends' daughter, and finally feeling joyful that she was now a part of Marinette's family. Maybe not by marriage, but as long as she could be with her love's child, that's all that mattered to her. However, even though her journey was over, the rich blonde still felt like there was something missing and she remembered: Her love for Marinette increased the more she got to carry her baby. Although she knew that never changed, she felt awful that the pain went up throughout those nine months.

"I'm glad that I got to carry her baby," the blonde expressed to herself sadly, "but I'm not fine that I'll never get over her." As the blonde sighed to herself, a sound bleeped from her phone, causing her to see a text message that read "from Marinette '' with a heart symbol by her name. This hurt Chloe even more. The rich one swiped up her phone to read the message sent by her best friend.

"Hi Chloe, just wanted to know if you were okay after the birth of my Chloe." At first, Chloe was unsure if she should lie by saying "Yeah, I am, How are you?" But something inside of told her to be honest and finally tell her crush the truth.

"I mean after all, you are part of the family now." After a long deep breath, the blonde decided to confess.

"No, I'm not. In fact, may I please video chat with you?" A minute later, Chloe and Marinette were able to video chat, but the worst part was Adrien was by her side, confirming that both parties were concerned for her.

"Hey Chloe, is everything alright?" Marinette asked with a nervous expression.

"Is there something going on," Adrien asked himself. Chloe couldn't hold it any longer. The blonde finally broke down again.

"Marinette, I'd been wanting to tell you this for a long time, but never could." The rich girl confessed crying.

"Chloe," The half Asian asked, all worried. Finally, the blonde broke down even further.

"Chloe, what's wrong?" The husband now questioned, seeing his childhood friend all hesitated.

.

"Marinette Agreste, I'd always loved you!" The female blonde choked up. Afterwards, the married couple were in awe and stood quiet. Chloe kept going. "I know it sounds crazy, but I did!" The rich blonde admitted even more, but the married couple were still speechless.

"It all started back in high school, when after I'd realized that it was not worth hating you anymore." The blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl kept tearing up her face. "Not to mention, Adrien." Both of the best friends from youth eyed each other. " When I finally came to terms that we would never be together, I decided that the only good thing I could do was befriend Marinette!"

"Chloe," Marinette now said, "And Marinette, I really did mean it!" Chloe ignored her mixed-race best friend. "I was always envious of you! Your talent, your grades, all of your success!"

"Chloe, it's" Adrien tried to calm her down.

"But when I saw how you and Adrien were in love with each other," that's when the female blue-eyed one broke down sobbing. "I did the right thing and decided to let you guys be together!" Chloe wiped a few tears from her eyes. "I won't lie, it did hurt me a lot to see my crush be let go, but," the sobbing blonde viewed the girl she'd always loved in the eyes. "I also knew that I was never gonna be with you, Marinette; so I just wanted you happy." The daughter of Paris's mayor came to conclusion. "I wish I would've told you both earlier, but I was scared, fearful, insecure that I was gonna be abandoned again!" The crying girl took a moment to take a breather and calm down.

"There, that's all." Chloe finished with less tears now. "If you guys wish to leave me, see me as a freak," the mixed-race wife interrupted.

"Chloe, please calm down!" Marinette said all frustrated.

"Chloe, we're not gonna abandon or unfriend you." Adrien agreed.

"Yeah Chloe, we understand that you were scared, but we would never leave you for your sexuality." The godmother began to feel better once she heard the confident spewing from her best friends' mouths.

"Sure, I'll admit, it's a bit shocking to hear you say all that stuff about you loving me," Marinette confessed, "but I would never abandon a friend for being different, Chloe." The pigtailed one ended with a smile; thus the blonde one smiled back.

"I love you guys." The rich godmother teared up once more. At last, Chloe gained the confidence to admit her dream.

"Marinette, Adrien," she began. "I'm glad you guys chose me as the surrogate mother because I actually want my own child one day." Marinette joyed up.

"Oh Chloe, that's great!" However, the blonde looked down again in shame, then the mixed Asian got the message.

"Oh," Marinette froze up. "Oh Chloe, I don't know if I should." Now it was Adrien's turn to speak.

"Let's do it." The wife looked over at her husband, all wide-eyed.

"Adrien, you mean,"

"She did us a favor, Marinette," The blonde married man finally viewed his childhood friend with a smile, "and I think she deserves it." Chloe no longer couldn't hold back any tears. After a brief moment of silence, Marinette looked over at the blonde and nodded her head with approval.

A year and nine months later, Chloe found herself a big apartment two miles away from her former hotel, thanks to the money she saved up from working with her mother. Rightfully so, she finally got her wish: Chloe was now a mother. While resting in a rocking chair, the blonde was shown cradling and breastfeeding a newborn baby with dark, raven-like hair as she grew a smile on her face. Once the newborn baby was done, their mommy lifted them both up from the chair and she began to walk down the hallway with her child. Later, Chloe opened up a small nursery decorated with ladybugs and honey bees all around them.

"Welcome to your new home, Marinette Sabrina Audrey Bourgeois." The recent mother glared down joyfully at her newborn daughter, who just cooed and smiled back. The blonde mother walked up to the crib located in said nursery, placed her daughter gently in it, and lastly placed a kiss on her forehead.

"I love you, my sweet little ladybug. Love your queen bee mommy."
