Notes: Helloooo everyone this is my first Voraines fic and my first fic for any of the FBIs so this is exciting. Voraines have had me in in a chokehold since the first episode and last night we finally got the begging of Voraines with Cams jealousy of seeing Andre kiss Maya ahhhhh. I wrote this before I watched the episode, due to time zones so I wasn't able to watch it live and then the ep took forever to get uploaded so I just wrote what I could with the info I had and the screenshots I saw on twitter so this is not necessarily accurate to the ep but I wanted to post it anyways so enjoyyy!
Also theres no FBI International option on this site so i just listed it as the OG FBI
"Why are you looking at them like that?" Cameron's head turned to the sound of Jamie's voice.
"Hmm?" she looked over at her teammate and friend slightly puzzled as she had been pulled out of her thoughts.
"Raines and Maya, you're staring at them" Jamie pointed out.
"Oh" was all Cam said while frowning before taking a sip of her drink and trying to look anywhere else other than at Andre and Maya. Jamie raised her eyebrows at her friend, trying to figure out why she was acting the way she was.
"You okay Cam?" Jamie asked, still trying to figure out her friend.
"Oh yeah mhmm everything just perfect" She answered, right as Andre kissed Maya, Cam rolled her eyes and again tried to look elsewhere.
"Oh my god" Jamie laughed after finally figuring out what was up with her teammate "you're jealous"
"What?!" Cameron spluttered on her drink.
"You're jealous of her"
"No why would I be jealous"
"Cameron" Jamie narrowed her eyes.
"Jamie" She replied in the same tone, both women having a mini staring contest before Cameron broke "okay well maybe I am slightly jealous" she sighed and Jamie gave her a sad smile.
"Romantic workplace relationships are tricky Cam" Jamie told her speaking from her own experiences and Cameron nodded.
"I know, I just-"she cut herself off with a sigh "I don't know what I feel" she told Jamie truthfully "I've always told myself no workplace romances but now" she gestured over to the general vicinity of where Andre was with his girlfriend "I've met him, and I have these feelings that I probably shouldn't have and he's with someone else"
Jaime placed her hand onto of her friends and gave it a small squeeze "it's hard, especially now that he's with someone else, but he's still your friend and he's still going to be in your life" She tried to cheer her friend up.
"I know" Cam nodded getting slightly teary.
"Hey, hey don't cry" Jamie told her softly, her heart hurting for her friend and her struggle with her feelings. Cameron wiped under her eyes with her thumbs and gave her friend a sad smile "Come here" Jaime held her arm up and pulled her friend into her side giving her a hug.
"Thank you" Cameron was grateful that Jamie was there for her.
"It'll be okay, you'll figure it out" Jamie told her.
"And how do you know that?"
"Because you're you Cam" this made Cam chuckle lightly.
"Don't know what I would do without you" Cam told her.
"Ummm you probably wouldn't be arguing with your landlord about trying to get out of your lease still" Jamie joked trying to make her friend feel better.
"Oh, that's for sure" Cam shook her head but laughed at her friend, thankful for her friend lightening the mood.
"Another round?" Jamie questioned.
"Um I don't know I was thinking about leaving"
"It's on me" Jamie told her trying to get her friend to stay for one more drink.
"I mean if you insist" Cam smiled at her friend as she got up and walked over to the bar to order one more drink for each of them.
While Jamie was gone of course Cam's eyes wandered back to Andre, this time his eyes met hers and he gave her a warm smile which made her stomach do backflips, she smiled back of course before he turned back to the conversation he was having with Maya.
She let out a sigh, she really was jealous. He was with someone else, and she had feelings for him. She would like to say she was the closest to Andre out of the whole team, they were the youngest on the team so naturally they gravitated towards each other when Cameron first joined, and Scott and Jamie had their thing going on anyways.
She would definitely say he was one of her best friends, but she wanted more now, and she wasn't sure how to go about that. She would have to tell him eventually she just hoped that when she did it wasn't because she couldn't be around him anymore because her feelings were too much to just act like his friends but because they were becoming more.
She knew that wasn't going to happen any time soon, she had literally just watched another woman basically eat his face. But she hoped and she was allowed to hope because no one.
