A/N I Know Easter isn't for a few months but I like to post my newly finished stories whenever so enjoy.

(Jacks human days)

It was Easter morning and Jack was putting on his warm cloak, he grabbed his mothers basket and ran outside that wonderful chilly morning. He was just a little boy of 7 who was full of energy and wonder.

Jack was excited to find the candy that he believed the Ester bunny had hidden for him. His little baby sister was happy in her mothers arms as they watched Jack find the eggs.

He found many colors, but then he couldn't find anymore. Jack peeked around in the basket to see what he'd found. 5 rainbow eggs and two suckers, along with a "Happy Easter." note. Very lucky treats to receive.

But then he heard a rustle in the bushes and Jack went to see what it was, but he didn't find what he expected to find...

A large furry beast crouched in the brush and was staring at him with a look that Jack could not comprehend other than hunger to eat him!

Jack screamed and dropped his basket full of treats and ran as fast as he could back to the cabin screaming - "MOMMY MOMMY MOMMY! THERE'S A MONSTER!"

Jacks mother rushed to him, frightened. His father came out of the house carrying an old musket gun. "What's wrong Jack?" he asked his son.

"There's a big furry monster in the bushes!" Jack cried. His father quickly went over to where Jack pointed but all he saw was a little flower pop out of the ground suddenly. He took a few steps back with wonder and confusion.

Later that day, when it felt safe, Jack went and picked up his treasures and his mothers basket and took them into the house and shared them with his family. And since then Jack didn't see another scary beast on Easter again...

Over 300 years later...

And since then Jack Frost and Easter Bunnymund had never gotten along.

"You scared me half to death!" Jack would say when he's a Guardian.

"I scared you?! I was scared of your father when he ran after me with his gun!" Bunny would say when the subject came up.

But then later the two would laugh at the memory...
