Chapter 10
By the night, the household where Xander was residing went out together to Hogan's dinner and sat on the inside of the local around the table together waiting for their dinner. Xander sat next to Tamara, which was listening to a conversation between Blair and Emma.
"I had to leave on my own to get myself some clothes and use them for a disguise," Blair told a little secretive, making Emma nod. Xander was just listening to the crowd as he had nothing to talk about, just left the group on their own.
"Why do you need to disguise yourself at the school?" Questioned Tamara. "Are there people planning a robbery or something?"
"No, there have been rumors about smuggling about a specific substance, that in the wrong hands could lead people to suffer an intoxication if overdosed. I'm supposed to figure out, where it comes from and report it," Blair explained making Tamara nod.
"But wouldn't people get suspicious of you? Mainly because you're like the new girl?"
"They have set me in there earlier to sink that. As long as I behave as a high school student I won't be much of a suspect," Commented Blair.
"Isn't it dangerous?" Questioned Xander. "What if you are discovered?"
"By any intriguing or threatful approach, everything will be recorded with a hidden body cam. Someone on the other side is seeing everything live and will initiate an arrest warrant if things go wrong," Explained Blair making Xander nod.
"That's quite interesting from your side," Confessed Xander making Blair smile.
"Yes and Emma, you're the other youngest woman in the household or even you could give me a little hand as well, Tamara. I had to pick out of a few clothes something for the prom night, cause I am employed to attend that night as well," Blair began explaining, then took. her cellphone to look for pictures inside it.
Xander widened his eyes as he talked about it, then wondered if that would interfere with his team's plans. Xander took out from his cargo shorts his cellphone and right on top of his phone number library was Ayesha's full name with the smartphone. He pressed on the bubble button to text the woman a message.
"One question. I happened to figure out that one girl living in the same house as me is working undercover at the school and will attend the prom as well. I think the others of our team should know this as well," Xander wrote down and sent it to the woman, then kept the phone over his leg.
"Well, somebody could as well give you some makeup to make you look younger on the prom. If that's working. Usually, proms are in a dark area, so people won't notice so fast, that you're older. You're just a bit taller," Suggested Emma. "A masquerade ball would make things easier for but,"
"But also harder to find the perpetrator," Added Blair making the trio nod.
Xander felt his cell phone get a message and he looked down to see Ayesha had seen his message.
"Great job! It's good you notified us. I'm sending the info to Nick. Is it possible for you to describe her looks?"
Xander glimpsed at Blair, which was listening to Emma, then Xander shortly described the blonde from what he could see.
"Her name is Blair. She's blonde, around 1.70, her eyes seem to be blue and she's really skinny," Xander typed down and sent the message to the friend and glimpsed back at the trio normally.
"There is this huge hotel at Bridgeport I once had to assist for a few events. I had seen rich juveniles acting toward each other in really inappropriate ways, just because certain parents had a certain important job," Commented Emma. "That kind of behavior you don't see or barely see here in Sunset Valley,"
"Back when I was a kid I would know everybody in town, but as it grew more people came along and I began to see half of the townies weren't from around here. Like all you guys, I only knew Jane March and weirdly I still see her every day cause she works with my parents at the laboratory," Commented Blair making Emma nod.
"Wait 5 or 10 more years and you'll see the population growth and newbies entering our place," Stated Emma making Tamara chuckle.
"I wonder by that time, who has already a family then. I know already my former classmate Marty Keaton had a child recently,"
"The only thing I know changed in my surroundings was, that my neighbor Beau lost his job due to a health issue. He was on his way to becoming a professional athlete and that happened. The only good thing in his life was that his wife stood there by his side to support him," Xander mentioned shrieking Tamara.
"So that's why he let himself go so much? I had noticed that, but I haven't had the courage to ask him why,"
"I knew it recently. I was thinking about leaving the fish market and he told me what was up," Stated Xander, then Tamara glimpsed sad at Blair, which nodded.
Xander picked up his cell phone again to see if Ayesha had said something. Xander began to think about chatting with her about anything and sent her a message.
"My roommate Emma has invited us out for dinner here at Hogans. She was very excited that we all accepted," Xander wrote down, then pondered about, what to write more. "She's a fun person" Added Xander and thought about if this was worth starting a small talk with the work pal. He afterward added another sentence and re-read the sentences again.

Xander pressed the arrow to send the message and heard a servant talk and put down on the table two plates. One with meat, while the other contained rice and fries.
"The salad will be up next" Announced the servant making the group nod, then Cycl0n3 was the first one to scoop a bit of meat onto his plate.
"Gees, I haven't eaten in a day," Spoke Cycl0ne making Tamara chuckle.
"Didn't you eat a sandwich before you left?" Questioned Tamara watching the man look at her dumbfounded.
"What?" Questioned the man surprised, while Xander covered his mouth to chuckle about his roommate, then whispered to Tamara.
"Could it be, that his parents or the doctors dropped him on his head by accident?" Questioned Xander, then stared at the man along with the good friend to watch Cycl0n3 hold up over the plate the ice cream spoon to expect it to drop down of it, but it didn't do anything. Cycl0n3 stared into the spoon, then moved it gently over his table hoping it wouldn't fall out, but it didn't. Tamara sighed, then waved at Stiles, which had just gotten some fries on his plate, then he saw Tamara was signaling him to help the man out.
"Hey Cycl0n3, I think you have to move the spoon down against the plate," Stiles instructed watching the man raise his eyebrows under the sunglasses, then he used the spoon as a hammer to try to get the rice out of it making Stiles gasp, afterward, Cycl0n3 broke the plate, making all the roomies around him look terrified about the misunderstanding between the two. Stiles reversed back on his chair embarrassed, while Tamara face palmed about the incident.
"Thank goodness we aren't at the bistro," Commented Tamara making Emma nod, then she took her empty plate to exchange it with their friends and took the broken plate away.
"I'll get a new one," Announced Emma, then Xander observed her leaving, then watched annoyed Stiles scoop the rice carefully at the plate Emma had just given. Xander looked at his cell phone to see Ayesha had answered him.
"Just Tori and I are eating. To be honest, she's not quite the greatest person to talk with. It's either about her job or anything about her. Not quite an interesting topic. I'm sure you got there better company for a conversation, right?"
Xander chuckled about her answer, then wondered what he should answer to the woman.
"Sounds like being anywhere, but there sounds more bearable?" Commented Xander, seconds later he got an answer from the woman.
"Yes. You seem also to prefer to be somewhere else? You don't seem so busy,"
Xander glimpsed at the others, that were waiting for their turn after Stiles helped Cycl0n3 out, and he typed down on the cell phone.
"It's not bad here for now. One of our roommates kind of does questionable things and sometimes it's weird on how to act," Xander responded and took his cell phone down and watched Blair hold the plate to Tamara, which took down fries onto her plate, afterward Xander held out his plate for Tamara to make him the favor.
"Thank you," Responded the man, then looked at his cell phone to see Ayesha had replied and he took it up again to read it.
"I think I know who you mean. He sure doesn't mean any harm,"
Xander looked at Blair holding her plate out at Stiles, which had the rice, thereafter Xander had an idea and wrote down a small invitation to the work pal.
"Would you like to join us? I'm sure Emma wouldn't mind," Commented Xander on his cell phone so he would send it.
Xander watched Tamara scoop for herself rice, afterward held the plate and Xander took the plate to scoop for himself.
"Thanks," Said Xander then placed the rice away, then spotted Emma return with a new plate and get down on her seat. "Uh Emma, do you know someone named Aman Arami?" Questioned Xander making Emma curious at his question.
"You know about Ayesha's ex?" Questioned Emma surprised.
"I happen to get controlled by a guy with that name and I heard it was him," Explained Xander."I was stopped there by the library,"
"Perhaps he was quartered here. So far I know, he's from Twinbrook. According to my last conversation with Ayesha as they were together,"
"What again led them to break up? She seemed at seeing him quite uh….anxious,"
"I think it was due to the work schedules. Thought about asking her that?"
"I did ask, but…I seemed to have misunderstood it," Xander made up making Tamara chuckle.
"Aww, you're jelly?" Questioned Tamara making Xander frown and hiss back at his friend.
"No, I'm not!," Complained Xander making Tamara chuckle.
"Aww you're overreacting. I'm pretty sure that you two would be great for each other," Commented Tamara making Blair chuckle.
"How can you say that? You two barely know each other," Commented Blair.
"Two weeks is something," Commented Tamara watching Blair shake her head.
"I'm referring to you knowing the other woman. You just know who she is and that's it," Said Blair.
"Yes, and what's so bad? I like to support my friend. I'm sure this woman is a good fit for her. Not everyone needs to have the same likes. The Wolffs and the Langeraks have an unusual thing with each other and still work well together…well, I can't judge the Wolffs so well, they've been married for a year,"
"It's great on, how you all are supportive, but I as Ayesha's friend want to give you a bit of advice. If you're really interested in her, I would take things slow. She's not very trusting towards new people in life. It's no offense just a little advice,"
"At the moment I'm more curious about what happened. Some.,...aspects of her past are interesting," Commented Xander, then picked up his cell phone again. Emma continued to speak and Xander noticed, Ayesha didn't want to go out said evening. Xander shrieked as Stiles jumped off his chair as Cycl0n3 accidentally moved the water vase down with his elbow as he had planned to hand it out to Tamara.
"Dude, why didn't you just hand it out to her?" Questioned Stiles making the man grin embarrassed.
