Chapter 11
The next week, after a delivery of a furniture, Xander stood at the warehouse training with the dummy his fighting skills, while Ayesha analyzed him noticing, that he was better than at the first week.
"Good, good. Keep it up!" Cheered the woman watching Xander whack with his hands on all the arms spinning around the dummy. "That's it! Duck and avoid the hit," Commented the woman, then watched Xander jump to kick the puppet, then shrieked as Xander was hit on his knee by the stick and he ended up falling on the back. Ayesha bit her lip, surprised at his sudden attempt to attack the dummy. "You're okay?" Questioned the raven-haired woman making Xander nod, afterward, the woman helped him get up.
"Was I good?" Questioned Xander passing his hand above his head, feeling slightly wet from sweating.
"Not bad," Commented Ayesha making Xander drop his mouth, believing the score didn't sound like it fitted.
"Come on! I've been practicing for an our on this thing and you sat that?" Questioned Xander making Ayesha nod and lean her arm on the puppet.
"You know those puppets are just training puppets. Anyone can kick its butt," Stated Ayesha making Xander frown. "If you think you can do it better than I think you can, duel me," Suggested Ayesha making Xander tilt his head. "Or do you fear being defeated again?" Questioned the woman earning a headshake from the man.
"No, I'm ready this time," Assured Xander, then Ayesha threw her hand towards his face, then he blocked it with his hand and used his other hand to attack her, getting blocked by her arm as well. Xander moved his other arm to head toward the woman's body, afterward got deflected again. Xander began to step his feet on the ground against her, trying to shove her backward and striking with his arms against the woman, which easily deflected them, as well as focused on her footwork to see, how he was doing at that moment.
"Come, you practiced more. You sure can bring out more than this," Mentioned Ayesha, then Xander had an idea and tried to step on her feet, shrieking her, which used her foot to kick against him and he blocked her kicks, then took the opportunity to smack his flat hand on her shoulder. Ayesha grabbed his arm to push him around her, swinging him away from her and Xander lifted his leg to make her step, but she restored her equilibrium quickly. Xander turned around to see in surprise Ayesha still standing, afterward, he moved his fist against her, followed by her catching the fist to turn his full body around by the arm only, making Xander cry at the pain it caused. Ayesha let Xander go, which was quite irritated with her tricks, then he ran at her with his punch aimed at her belly and she crossed her arms to block the attack, then packed the man by his arms and tried to push him away, but he wasn't allowing her that, after that he used his one foot to try putting the woman down, afterward she jumped with the other leg aside, making Xander frown and try to do the same thing again. Unfortunately, Ayesha jumped towards him, causing both of the two fall down on the ground.
"Hey, that's not allowed!" Complained Xander as he lied on the ground, then noticed that the woman lied over him in a questionable way, making Xander furrow his eyebrows, then noticed he has as well his hands placed beside her waist, near her butt, which made him wide his eyes surprised. "Uhm that's not, what it looks like," Xander mentioned as Ayesha was over him a little confused about the incident, and moved aside from him, passing her hands over the sports jacket.
"Hey, hey, hey, get a room you two!" Teased a voice getting up Xander's attention, which sat up to spot Don come along.
"I…..that's a misunderstanding," Contered Xander, while Ayesha got up by herself to look at the two men, which were argumenting. "She jumped at me and I didn't react well," Xander said looking at Ayesha, which shrugged her shoulders.
"What do you want me to say? This could have happened the other way around too," The woman said, then Xander got up to be near to Don.
"She wanted to see if I fought better or not," Added Xander making Don chuckle.
"I'm convinced. I just like to mess with you. Your reactions are hilarious," Stated Don proudly making Xander shake his head.
"Sometimes I wish I could strangle you," Said Xander making Don chuckle, afterward Nick Alto had entered the warehouse as well.
"Who you'd wish to strangle? Don?" Questioned Nick earning a nod from Xander. "Makes us two,"
"Or three," Added Ayesha making Don grin sheepishly.
"Yep, I'm really loved here," Joked Don, then Nick approached the younger adult to speak with them.
"I asked Marcela to research this Blair you spoke about last week. Thanks for giving us this info. We might do a few changes to our plan and I will announce how far we are with our plan. I have already called the trio to return from the tunnel. They will all arrive in a couple of minutes," Mentioned the Spaniard making the young teammates nod. "Ayesha, could you help me analyze the school map from the community school? Vita has got them from the archive," Appealed Nick earning a nod from the woman, which followed the leader, leaving the other men back.
"And?" Started Don watching Xander raise his eyebrows.
"What do you want?"
"Just curious to know, what you think about her. You're totally nailing it…..at least, that's what I think about. You two have been practicing a lot lately,"
"I don't think she's interested in the way you're thinking,"
"And you?"
"Probably not,"
"Probably?"
"I don't know it. She's a really cool person when you get to know her. Unlike any other woman I know, she literally will kick your butt, when needed," Mentioned the brunette man making Don laugh.
"Honest statements. I know her for a while and that's the truth," Announced the Italian and by the stairs Claire had come down along with Robbie, then the men waved at the duo, thereafter followed them to the corner.
Later as the entire crew was reunited the youngest members consisting of Don, Xander, Ayesha and Marcela stood behind the couch where the members Robbie, Bert and Claire sat watching Nick check the map of the school displayed on the wall.
"Ok, there has been a little change of plans. One of Xander's roommates is a snitch, which will be present at the prom on said night. Not for our reason, but any eye contact of her with us could lead our plan to fail. To eventually lead her on to spare us trouble, Don could be used as a distraction for the woman and lead her away from the zone. Eventually, he could as Marcela mentioned from an ongoing police case make up a story about how he knew about that certain drug and hoped she buys it and you lead her out of the way. When both are gone, were save," Nick mentioned making Don nod.
"Shall I dress myself as a teenager?" Questioned Don, then Nick pointed at Claire.
"She's the expert," Commented Nick making the man nod. "Ayesha, Xander, you two will be dressed as we planned before as teens. Make sure to keep the two Langeraks off-screen. Try to not cause any trouble, even if others are up to it,"
"We try," Responded Xander.
"I don't think, that's a decent answer," Noticed Ayesha making Xander shrug his shoulders.
"I know high schoolers. The one type won't really not mess up anything. Mostly on special occasions like the prom,"
"Okay expert. We'll see about that,"
"Okay, Claire and I will be ready down at the tunnel under the office and Bert has in sight the delivery, which they will load all at once into the elevator. The elevator by one point will be full and sent up to the office. At the moment the door closes and the elevator is about to leave, Robbie at some part of the house will trigger a smoke detector to activate the fire alarm, and the available people will in the next 10 minutes look for the issue. Upon their disappearance, we use the elevator key to activate it and steer it down into the cellar and begin to unload it and bring it across the tunnel down to the school. Bert and Robbie will join us afterward to help. Before everything starts our furniture van stays by Hogan's dinner. It's night by them, but for safety reasons, I think it would be a good idea to carry moving boxes to the tunnel as well to prevent any suspicious looks from individuals from around. Ayesha and Xander, when there's no issue can come to the exit of the tunnel and help out or watch for anyone to burst in. By the time we're done, we return to our car, Ayesha and Xander return to the party for the last check, Bert, Claire, and I will close the hole temporarily, then return to the vehicle, where we all met," Nick explained, afterward Bert raised his hand to hand out a question as his brother.
"Are we going to leave with the van or should we stop somewhere and reload one of the vans?" Questioned Bert.
"Eventually we could prepare a van or two, in case something is up. We never know. After midday you leave the tunnel digging anyway, go together with Claire and get a van," Suggested Nick making the brother nod.
"I do have a little suggestion," Ayesha said raising her hand. "We could use an SUV instead or a minibus. Something rather big and eventually, less eye candy for the police, if something was up.
" Would borrowing an ambulance or something alike to do something. Ambulances tend to drive 24\7 a day, which isn't suspicious," Commented Xander watching Nick ponder about it and shrug his shoulders.
"You think you can get one easily?" Questioned Nick, then Xander looked at his crew members looking for help, afterward, Don began to chuckle.
"I might have an idea. It's just up to you, if you want to go along with or not," Don asked watching Xander look at the others, which waited for his answer.
"Do I have to go alone?"
"Don't worry. You got me. I know the best place to get ourselves an ambulance or two!" Suggested Don making Xander nod, wondering, what place he was referring to,"
